DVC room reservation and 180 day window- park tix needed?

Do park tickets need to be linked before 180 day window to make dining reservations or can the dining reservations be made without park tix linked? Also, if one purchases one park per day tix on Undercover Tourist, can they add the park hopper option once they arrive at WDW if they change their mind? Thanks.

Just to clarify if it wasn't clear I am asking if dining reservations can be made 180 days+10 with just a DVC room booked, if park tix have not been purchased yet.

DO NOT need park tickets for DVC reservation before making ADR's 180 plus 10...DON'T know about undercover tourist....Perhaps someone else knows!

Yes, you will want to use them at least once before going to GR to add the hopper. I'd write down exactly how much it should cost before going. They should "bridge" the ticket to gate prices then add the hopper.
