Dream a Little Dream: May 8-12, 2011

I'm booking this cruise in the next few days, as soon as my TA gets back with me. It will be part of our honeymoon trip for my fiance and I. We're getting married on May 7 and then driving down for the cruise on May 8. We're both really excited to begin our lives together!

With that said, I was wondering if anybody had experience with booking the Comfort Suites for the Aquaventure tickets "discount". Me (24) and my fiance (26) were looking into this as an option to cut our costs down.

I thought perhaps it might be a good idea to meet two others in this thread that would possibly consider "booking the room" together to get us all a significant discount verses Disney's $160 per person excursion.

Regardless, we can't wait (It's a year from today!!!!)!

Welcome everyone! I've had so much going on lately I sadly haven't been on much but will hopefully become a regular soon!!!

Anyways, we have looked into this too. But we'll have 5 in our group so we could put 1 in "your room" to help with your cost (and ours). Let me know if you're interested as we don't want to book 2 rooms.

I'm looking forward to our cruise!!! I can't believe it's still a secret around here!!

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!!

Well I'm out of this group. :sad1: I went to book our cabins and literally in the middle of picky one cat. it was gone before I got finished. So it's filling up fast. So I had to switch to the 15th as some of my parties can't go with the upgraded cost. I wish you all a fabulous Dreams trip and may your Mother's day (day of disembarkation) be special

What category were you trying to book that ran out?

I was wanting an 11C but they were sold out, so I told my TA an 11B, but I wanted something midship because my fiance is prone to motion sickness.

We ended up with an 11 A cabin on Deck 10. It was ~$50 more but Im thrilled with the location because its directly midship with easy access to Deck 11 for the adults only pool and bar (AND ICE CREAM!!!!).

As for the booking of the Room at Comfort Suites, I'll send you a private message about it in the next few days (perhaps next week).

361 Days!

I believe my stateroom is just a few doors down from yours! I have a verandah stateroom on the starboard side (deck 10). Looks like there're just a few 11a staterooms on deck 10.

We too are sailing with all of you....This is the best part...Santa is giving the trip to the kids for x-mas. So they don't know yet and keeping it quite it killing me. We are also going to the parks for 5 days before hand. I am sure like many of you, we are counting the days and planning under cover. This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise and for this to be on the new ship makes it that much better.

I am sailing with my 6 year old who will be 7 then, my 8 year old who will be 9 and my husband.

It was like Christmas morning waiting for the email from my TA this a.m., but now we're booked and booked! It's DH and I sailing for our 10-yr anniv, looking forward to a celebratory drink at the new champagne bar. Though going by all the posting on the Pricing thread, this isn't a big demand date yet. But hey, less people = less wait on the Aquaduck, so nooo problem. :thumbsup2 Hope to hear from some fellow-cruisers soon![/QU

I am with you about the line for aquaduck...I plan to live there for most to the day at sea.

Just wanted to let you all know that mother's day is great.....last time all the mom's got a flower from the kids and they too special photos of the kids and put Mother's day boarder around them. It was by far the best mother's day ever and I get to do it again. I guess I better come up with something good for father's day!!

I am happy to see we are not the only ones with ants in my pants waiting for our vacation to come. Or just for the Dream to be complete.

Just wanted to share I called today and we should be able to do our add on's for Disney nights in June. It was fun to start looking at a few days at the parks before the trip!!

We (DH and myself) just booked this cruise a few days ago! We are so excited, first Disney cruise ever :jumping1: We are planning 4-5 nights at the world prior to the cruise (I always feel I need a vacation after going to WDW!). We can't wait, see you all there! :goodvibes

Welcome everyone!! It should be great!!! We're also spending a few nights before at DW but we're doing a b2b so this will be our 2nd cruise for that week! We always do long cruises, so 4 and 3 nights were just too short but we had to try the Dream!! My kids will be so excited to try the AquaDuck!! We're planning on telling them at Christmas too! (If we can keep the secret that long!)

Can't wait to meet you all!!!

Ok everyone I found out the aquaduck you must be 48" tall! I am hoping my 6 year old grows 2" by next may! Hugh... He has just under a year! Can it be done! I hope so or I will have one vary sad little boy!
