Doctor Who Season 4!!!

I can't remember the details, but he was "created" by the aliens in the first episode of the Sarah Jane show. She took him in and "adopted" him as her son.

Now last week the ending was when Donna told the Dr. Rose said "Bad Wolf". This week there was no mention of that. Does anyone know what that means? I also can't week for next weeks season finale.

Bad Wolf was the major storyline arc from Rose's time as Companion and also part of Bad Wolf Bay in Pete's World.

When the Doctor regenerates who will he be? Any UKers out there? Anyone know?

According to reports, David Tennant is signed on for the next season (which won't air until 2010 sometime). As such, the 10th Doctor shall remain in his present form. How this works with what we saw at the end of Stolen Earth is an interesting question which only the next episode can fully explain.

Luke (the kid) is some sort of construct of all humanity. So he's human...to a certain extent. He's got two friends, Maria and Clyde, who go on wacky adventures with Sarah Jane and Luke. It's mentioned briefly in this episode that Maria's in Cornwall. She also gets a mention in Turn Left as accompanying Sarah Jane to the moon to return the hospital where Martha used to intern and dying there. DH and I kind of cheered at that, cause we find her annoying.

The words 'Bad Wolf' appeared in every episode of the first season. They were graffiti-ed onto the TARDIS, it was the name of a helicopter, etc. Anyways, at one point Rose swallows the time vortex (not a great idea) and sort of becomes omnipotent for a little while. She names herself/the TARDIS the "bad wolf". She then scattered the words all over space and time as a warning to herself and the Doctor. So, she must have done the same for the words appearing in Turn Left. They're meant as a warning.

DH and I played "catch up" last night with the last 3 ep's. We started at around 9 or 10 pm and didn't finish till about 12:30 am.

Midnight kind of had me as a "Huh?" It was a bit on the creepy side and right up there with Blink. I just haven't made up my mind (yeah or nay) about it yet - I'm still taking it all in.

Turn Left was terrific! That beatle thing kind of reminded me of the Keepers in Babylon 5 (anyone who watched the show would understand what I'm talking about). But WOW! How much things had changed when the Doctor wasn't there to stop all those events! And now I see how Rose was brought back. Makes sense. Although it was weird watching Doctor Who without much of the Doctor in it. But it was still a great ep.

Ok, now on to The Stolen Earth. I am so glad to see that they finally crossed over Torchwood and SJA! About time! The ep was excellent and I can't wait to see the conclusion! I was surprised to hear then see Davros (knew it was him the second I heard him)! Can't have the Daleks without Davros. Glad to see the character back. Just one question regarding this episode- WHERE WAS MICKEY :confused3 !! Everyone else was there except him - WTH? He is part of Torchwood in that parallel (sp?) universe.

Speaking of Torchwood - Does anyone know when the new season starts on BBC America? I'm going to need something to fill in the gap of Doctor Who before I go

been wondering about that myself. Hopefully soon

I want to say that BBC America didn't start showing season three until around the time torchwood season 2 started playing on that channel.
It was definitly after they came out on DVD that they started showing them.

But that's not the same Torchwood, if that's what you mean! Don't worry though, you'll get Mickey in the finale!!! I was so happy to see him back!

as far as when Torchwood will air here....they don't start filming until late august/ealy september I believe...so it will still be a while. I"m thinking I heard early next year??? :confused3 though I could be crazy! lol. might be earlier than that since it is just the 5 episode story arc though!

Actually, last I heard nothing is definitely one way or the other as far as another season with Tennant. Next year there will be 4 specials and he is signed on for all of those, but there has been no offical word from either Tennant or anyone at Doctor Who about a Season 5 contract yet. I hope he sticks around, I'm not ready to let go of him as the doctor.

Right. It's not the same as Cardiff's Torchwood with Jack, but Mickey still travelled with the Doctor and Rose. Thanks for lettig me know he's in the finale. I was wondering what happened to him.

:headache: I have to wait until early next year? Well, at least BBC America is still showing the earlier seasons of Doctor Who so I can still get my fix and even see some scenese that were cut by SciFi Channel.

I'm not giving away any secrets from the last episode but I will advise the purchase of a LARGE box of kleenex......other than that my lips are sealed!!!! :sad1:

The Stolen Earth was . I totally wasn't expecting that at the end; I was so thrilled that they would be together again and then... :sad2:

I can't wait to see the finale.

I got a little choked up when Rose and the Doctor saw each other for the first time and started running towards each other. (stupid Dalek... Ruining the moment... How Rude!)

Its cruel to make us wait a week until the 2nd half.

Well, I watched the finale. I really...don't know what to think. DH and I postulated a number of scenarios of what could happene based upon what we knew of the series so far, and then I placed them in the order I'd most like to see them. This ending turned up as number 4 out of six on my list....so...not all that great. It was, however, at the top of the most likely scenarios.

In all honesty, I don't know whether I'll be able to watch the show again. I'll certainly give it a try when it does come on...but, I'm just not sure I'll feel the same way about it.

You're scaring me... :(

Nah, don't worry too much. It's just me. I'm probably just being overly emotional.

Did anyone else think Jack would have hit on Sarah Jane if he had a chance? That scene cracked me up (along with his "Who's the kid?")

Me! :teeth:

That was so funny, along with Donna wondering who Jack was ("Don't, just don't.") Oh, and Gwen saying the Doctor was a bit nice. And who could forget "Yes, we know who you are?" :rotfl2:
