Do you ever stay long enough to where you feel done?

10 days is about my max. I'm not necessarily done to the point where I couldn't possibly find anything else to do, but I'm mentally done with the crowds and the walking and ready to be home with all my creature comforts. By that point, we've done all our must dos more than once. There is always other things I could add on, but they aren't anything high enough of a priority that I ever carve out time for them.

I am thinking of dropping my seven day trips down to six days - going Sunday to Saturday instead of Saturday to Saturday.

I’m noticing I don’t do much on the last full day of my trip. This year, I just hung out at the resort.

Our longest stay was 12 nights and we weren't ready to go home at all. As mentioned above, my wallet told me it was time to end the trip. lol.

But just be aware that sometimes that IS a vacation-hang around the resort, lie by the pool, sit on the balcony with a beverage. If that's not your idea of a vacation, though,I can understand why you'd want to go home. Just reminding you, so you won't feel guilty and feel like you have to go home.

We did a 10 night stay back in December. Part of me was done by Day #3. It wasn't because there was nothing left to do. It had more to do with not getting to do the things I wanted to do because the couple we were with had other ideas. Having been to Disney so many times in the past and knowing that I would go again, I gave in to their expectations. But it was really disappointing to miss fireworks, parades and resort Christmas decorations because they were more interested in lounges, shopping and dining all while expecting me to act as their personal tour guide.
