Do I cancel trip ?

Kids sports trip in dec may not be a go after I confirmed and was a go.
Undecided if we will still go.. I sis but travel insurance for the airfare can cancel all hotels 2 night Disney three nights in Tampa
My question is I booked a rental car with airmiles. Can I cancel ? Will I get airmiles back ?
I can’t decide and won’t be definite until sept .. airfare is technically already paid and hotels are free ( part of my settlement so many nights per year)
Don’t really need to be in Tampa in the beach but want budgeting for parks ... and without sports activities we will have time to kill
We were going next Xmas ..
so I go anyways this dec as it’s already paid
Cancel and just wait till next Christmas

Rough decision to make, sorry.

Regarding the airmiles used to rent the car, if you didn't buy the insurance thru AM when you rented the car you won't get any miles back. I highly doubt you did because it is wickedly expensive!! You can cancel the reservation if you want, but there isn't any need to .. the rental agency will just mark you as a no-show and won't care because they've already been paid.
