I am in the process of purchasing Youth 5 day park hopper passes for our youth group. Does anyone know if these tickets can be applied to our KTTWC's? We like only having 1 card/ticket to keep track of, and I can't find any information about this on their site. Thank you!

There is no way to apply the Y.E.S tickets to your KTTW cards. They told us that no resort or even concierge can do that.

The tickets are thin paper and we had problems after the third day getting them to work in the Fast Pass machines. We ended up getting temporary fast passes valid for the day only at one park so we did not have to keep asking for help at the Fast Pass machines.

please excuse me if i am asking a question that has been answered,, i didnt read the entire postings..

You can't buy tickets until the actual class and date are listed. I called the Y.E.S. office and was told that Jan 2012 classes are possible. Let's hope !

fingers crossed, there are a couple i know she would love,, heck even i would love it,,lol. we r going to b there end of jan beg of feb!!

Just to show how you popular these classes are.

We were waiting for our class when 3 different brazilian groups showed up for the same classes but they were the "group" classes. They did go in 1st so we were behind them in the classes session. They also had their own disney guide teacher like we did but our group was 12 people and theirs was about the same and the only difference was theirs was a group and they had same color tshirts.

Along with our 12-17 invidual group, there was an 8-11 group in addition to the team groups. So they are very popular:hippie:

My 2 DDs are enrolled for the Ocean Discoveries class on July 18th. I just checked the original confirmation from when I bought the tickets in March and it stated that I would receive another email confirming the class when it was full. This class has been full for at least several weeks now but I have not received any emails from the program. Should I be worried and check this out or is it not a big deal? :confused3

You should receive something soon, I would think. My kids are doing How Things Move at the MK on 7/11 (a week from today!! YAY!!!) and I got the email confirmation on June 29th to print out and bring with us. HTH!

I have a question about my Yes tickets I am hoping you guys can clarify. I have read 2 different answers on this thread about ticket expiration - that the ticket expires 14 days after first use and another says they are good until ticket expiration date. Here is my scenario:
My kids and I first used our Yes Youth tickets on Sat., June 25th and attended the Everyday Chemistry Class on Wed. (was a great class). Unfortunately I had to break our vacation short due to a job interview date that could not be changed so we left Orlando right after the class to return home. So now we still have 1 day park hopper and 1 day water park on our tickets. The date on the tickets say valid until Sat., July 16th but is it really valid till then or 14 days from when we first used it? I would really like to use that remaining ticket time this weekend if possible, I hated having to leave early but had no choice and the real bummer is I didn't get the job either:sad2: I am hoping they are still good for this weekend but wanted to ask. Thanks for your help in advance!

YES tickets have different rules than normal tickets. They are good from 7 days before you arrival date to 7 days after your departure date. By your post, I assume your original departure date was July 9th. Your tickets should be good until July 16th, if that's what they say. For some reason, mine say they're good from 2/22/11-8/27/11. I think they put the date I ordered them, LOL. I called and they are fine. We leave the 20th and they are valid until the 27th. "Normal" tickets say right on them that they expire 14 days after first use.

I would say, no big deal. About a week or two before our class we received an additional confirmation email about the class. The email said to bring the confirmation email with us to class but no one asked for it. For our day/program there were several groups of classes. Each group had their individual three leaders, one leader did the "talking", one handed out the rewards when a child/adult answered a question correctly (adults, please let the children answer the questions) and one leader was always in back, counting heads. We did Wild by Nature and it was very enjoyable for all age levels. My child is age 13; the youngest in our group, was around age 7. We had 7 children and 5 adults plus the leaders. I found it very educational and informative as did my daughter.

Thank you Disney for making this possible. :)

Thanks so much. I was afraid they would expire before Sat if going by the 14 day from first use. With knowing they are valid intil the16th, I have a few days more to work plans around.

Thanks! I think if I don't get anything before we leave I'll just take my original confirmation in case there are any questions. We are looking forward to the class and I really appreciate the great deal on the tickets!! :yay:

Also in case no one else has described the class Everyday Chemistry (ages 9-15 I beleive), here is a summary on it. We met at 8:45 by the Will Call at Epcot, my son is 9 and daughter 12. There were SEVERAL groups being formed as we walked up. The lady with the master roll list got our names, looked around at the groups and put us with Perry's group that ended up having about 13 kids who were mostly around my daughter's age. Perry is from New Orleans and a very fun guy to meet. He has minors in engineering, math, and theater (also told us that in addition to teaching YES classes he performs at HS Beauty and Beast). After getting our name tags, Perry did an intro to Chemistry with kids with an experiment to introduce polymers. All his equipment was kept in his bookbag, and all the experiments were outside just in case anyone was mistaken like I was and thought they would be inside (my son was expecting a lab for chemistry so he was a little disappointed). However the experiments were good and Perry enthusiastically encouraged the kids to respond to his answers without worrying about if they were wrong, to think outside the box if you will. Anyway, after the first experiment and discussion we all went through Epcot ticket gate together and got lots of smiles from the folks working the gate wishing us a fun learning time. We did another experiment and then rode Ellen's Energy Ride (not sure of official ride name) and it is a 40 min ride/movie if you have never been to that attraction. Very interesting though and on a hot day nice to get air conditioning. We did stop 2 times for a bathroom break too. After riding Energy ride was the 2nd bathroom break and we were beside Test Track so daughter couldn't resist slipping over to get a fast pass (she was back in 2 min, well before the group was finished as there was no line to wait in and a couple of other kids slipped over too and were back in plenty of time) and then we did a good bit more of experiments and discussions in the corner area near Test Track. It was HOT so bring water. And guess what? After learning about tire experiments, won't get into it to much to ruin a surprise lesson from the class, we all got to ride Test Track. Perry took us through the fast pass line, said he was our human fast pass, and we got on the ride in 5 min. After the ride we met him by the photos of Test Track to laugh at each other and then went outside. It was about 11:45 by this time and HOT!!! We stopped by the coke mister where they have tables and did a wrap-up of the days learning and were done in about 10 min, so finished exactly at 11:55 for a day of fun at Epcot if you want. I know this summary jumped around but this is general idea of what to expect. VERY age-appropriate class and Perry did a great job of using scientific terms to explain lessons and findings which I really appreciated.

Printed on the YES ticket voucher:

Your tickets may be picked up at the following locations: Epcot®, Disney's Hollywood Studios™, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or the Ticket and Transportation Center at the Magic Kingdom® Park.

We are taking the resort bus to MK on day 1. Do we have to take the monorail to the TTC or may I use the voucher at the ticket window at the MK? Any experiences appreciated. TIA

They have to be picked up at the ttc. You could arrange to pick them up the night before.

We got our YES tickets at the regular ticket window at Hollywood Studios, they just needed our confirmation page.
