They have to be picked up at the ttc. You could arrange to pick them up the night before.

Our flight arrives the night before at 9pm. We are renting a car. We've discussed picking them up the night before; depends on which ticket windows are open late. Or, we might drive to MK rather than take the resort bus.

Thanks for the quick reply.

We drove in that day. Sorry, it works that for you. Allow yourself some time. Guest services seems slower than most places at disney.

We are a homeschooling family and 6 of us are going during the fall (DH, 2 kids, GPa, GMa, and myself).

Am I correct in understanding that only 2 adults are eligible for YES tickets since we have 2 children?

Printed on the YES ticket voucher:

Your tickets may be picked up at the following locations: Epcot®, Disney's Hollywood Studios™, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or the Ticket and Transportation Center at the Magic Kingdom® Park.

We are taking the resort bus to MK on day 1. Do we have to take the monorail to the TTC or may I use the voucher at the ticket window at the MK? Any experiences appreciated. TIA

Cheshire Figment (a CM) gave me some great info about picking up tickets in this thread:

Just wanted to share my experience last month with picking up our tickets...we went to a "Will Call" window at Epcot and while the gal there was trying to help us, she really had no idea what the "YES" program was... she called a supervisor and he ultimately sent us to the "Groups" window and they knew exactly what to do! Also this may be unrelated to the "YES" tickets but our tickets were all de- magnetized (by our cell phones?? maybe?) and we could never make them work in the Fast Pass machines or in the entrance gates... kind of a pain! :headache:

Ginnyemma answered "yes", but an recent email from a YES representative quoted on page 196, post #2939 said that tickets are available for the immediate family through the Individual Enrollment YES program. There have been some confirmation emails on this thread from YES as to what constitutes "immediate family". According to YES, immediate famiily means parents, siblings and grandparents. All are elligble for YES tickets unless something changed in the last month or so. Can anyone else confirm this?

I am soooo confused by all the conflicting information.

Quote from online registration:
"Ticket packages may be ordered for up to 6 students and 4 adults - no more than one adult ticket per participating student."

Just because Grandma and Grandpa are "immediate family", doesn't necessarily mean they are eligible. The # of adults cannot outnumber the students. (see post #2551)

I agree there is SO much confusion regarding this program. I have seen where some have purchased 6 family tickets with one child ticket and then others couldn't purchase "more" family tickets than there were YES program child tickets.

This program has been around for decades but it seems there has been a recent explosion in its popularity in the last year or so because of the fact that it saves so much money on the park tickets. Eventually, Disney will limit this somehow as every parent in the country will sign their kids up to get the lower priced tickets, which in the end costs Disney money. The more popular it becomes, the more I fear we will see major changes in its structure.

I say enjoy it while you can. But, I do hope I am wrong.

They changed the rules in the last few months. We got our tickets in February for our August 12th class. We were able to get 5 adult tickets with 3 students attending. We did not even have to put down names other than the kids. We were also able to get the tickets mailed to us, which, as I understand, they are no longer allowing. I am hoping they don't do away with the individual enrollment altogether:sad1: I think it's a great way to allow people to go to WDW who otherwise couldn't afford the tickets.

I just went through this when ordering our tickets. I called and spoke with someone and what they said was confirmed when I placed my order on line. The deal is that you may purchase tickets for the parks for up to 6 students and 4 adults. However, the number of adults who attend the actual class can not exceed the number of students attending the class. For example, we have 5 in our family so we bought tickets for the 5 of us. Only 1 child is old enough for the class, so only 1 child and 1 adult will be going to the class.

The way to handle this when ordering tickets is pretty easy. When you are asked to enter the names of people attending, you enter the names of everyone in your party. Later in the process you will be asked to check mark which people will be attending the actual class.

Hope that helps!

So what you're saying is, the adult/child class ratio has nothing to do with the number of park tickets purchased?

You can purchase;
*1 adult/2 children in classes
*4 adults/2 children park tickets

Am I understanding you correctly? :confused3

During ticket checkout it states "Ticket packages may be ordered for up to 6 students and 4 adults - no more than one adult ticket per participating student.'"

Yep - that is exactly what I am saying. Just did it last week. Bought tickets for 2 adults and 3 kids. Only 1 of those adults and 1 of those kids will be going to a class.

ETA: I specifically asked the guy that question on the phone and he said that was correct - they do not want to discourage families fro coming. Works for me!

Do you have to purchase the park tickets at the same time you sign up for the class?
We are planning on going next June, but since there will be 4 children and 5 adults I am afraid to put out that much money for tickets in case something happens and we can not get our money back.

Ok, this now makes sense since your past posts had me wondering if I could add extra adults.

It may be because you and your hubby are considered immediate family.

I asked to put DH/2 children in classes and then add all of us (including gma/gpa/myself) to the ticket portion. They said that gparents are not considered immediate family.

You cant sign up for June classes yet...you cant even sign up for Jan classes yet. I would think in around Jan 2012 you will be able to buy tix for June 2012.

I'm still waiting for November 2011 YES class schedules to become available! The current schedule is out for the end of October 2011. I really hope mid-Nov (not peak Thanksgiving week which I know won't happen) becomes available. There's been some mixed reviews on whether they will release YES classes for November.
