My husband is officially jealous.

My DH was like, you want the camera now? I was like ya. Duh (omitted that part, but the word was defiantely in the tone of my voice and expression). I'll be reading the instruction manual on the way down hopefully not getting sick in the mean time from reading in a moving vehicle.

It feels like Christmas, it will be christmas b/c who knows what I'll get for christmas. A box of chocolate??? maybe a kiss.

I just want to add about this article, give me a break. Do you know how many computer related jobs are out there? Will this correlation become like the eggs are good/bad for you debate. Give me a break. I didn't have time to type this part in earlier. Sorry folks. This article is a stretch.....a pretty big one. If I'm wrong, I guess I'll find out eventually 'cause I'm a typing maniac.

We had a bad storm today! I disconnected the computer before any damage could be done. When I plugged it back in, it was making this horrible squealing sound. I've never heard anything like it. I took the side panel off and I was poking around inside it and couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. It wouldn't start up, it just kept making the noise. I finally started unplugging stuff from the back. It was the KEYBOARD! DH was out picking up pizza so he stopped and got a new keyboard and mouse and now everything is fine. Weird! I've never heard a noise like that before....and who would have EVER thought it was the KEYBOARD? How odd!

My B'day is at the end of the month (3 days before we leave ) and I just told my DH that was the cake I wanted! Too cute!


I've been trying to find where we've had a discussion about pirate night. What was the consensus on that? Will many be dressing piratey?

What kind of music do you like. I like a lot of different kinds of music but Celine is just someone that I can't stand.


As for the Pirate party, Logan and Teia are getting all decked out, DH and I will wear some pirate themed stuff but not true costumes. I'm not sure what Conor wants to do yet.

Okay, so Happy Belated Birthday!

You're probably gone for now (sorry, I was surfing), but to answer you're question - I like a lot of different kinds of music too. As the kids have grown though, we've listened to mostly Disney CDs. At least we've graduated to Radio Disney and DisneyMania. But, being a girl of the 80's ( did I admit that out loud?) I can always listen to the Eagles, Journey, etc.

I'm back. She's almost asleep. She was up early and stayed up way too late. She's in her school schedule mode and weekends are a nightmare if she isn't in bed on time. She has a lot of reading to do for school and the teacher told me that SHE is supposed to read, not me. Uggh. She was so tired, I read. Shhhh, please don't tell on us! Tomorrow I'll make sure that SHE'S the one who reads, I promise. She has to read and test on five books a week...one chapter book, two non fiction and two fiction. Sheez. They're not short books either. It's a lot of pressure to keep up, and it's only FIRST GRADE! Lord help us!

I agree. The keyboard was acting weird earlier today. It wouldn't type more than three characters in a row and it wouldn't backspace. Odd. We seem to go through a lot of keyboards. Our mouse was cordless, it ate batteries so I am glad that we replaced it! Now we're back to "normal".

My family did a great job. They know what I like! I wanted the Pirates of the Caribbean hoodie that the Disney store sells. DH got me one and one of my best friends ALSO got me one. I need to hit the mall and exchange one. I will have to try to find something else there to replace the one I return. Such a dilemma. NOT!
