Jessbell what an amazing and fantastic collection you have.
You can see you've taken great care, and I am colour green right now :lmao:
Fantastic collections.:lovestruc

That snowglobe is awesome Rachel :thumbsup2 how many do you have?

I have 10 large snowglobes and about 3 or 4 smallers ones. I just love them! I need my Dad to get me a new cupboard now though so I can add more to the collection!!

Ooh such lovely things, I love looking at this thread!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
Elaine, is that a Thomas Kinkade pic??
Yes, but I cheated a bit! I couldn't afford one of the limited edition prints so I had a print costing $15 mailed over from WDW for the sum of $10 (it came in a HUGE box lol) then took it to be framed.

Here's my photo for today ~ my collection of Jim Shore doggies. :dogdance:

JessBell....what an amazing collection!!:scared1: And it all looks neat and not cluttered, how do you do that??????

Thanks poppyolivia,

I have been collecting for about ten years. As for the neat and not cluttered look... I have an obsessive compulsive side of me that has to have everything in a particular place. :rotfl:

:worship: :worship: :worship: WOW!!!! Jessbell your collection is amazing! I love the way you have displayed the snowglobes with all the films/characters together & the relevant lithograph behind.

The only thing I don't envy is the dusting! :scared1:

SusanEllen - I love the PP painting - your husband was very talented.

Thank you Pinky166... As my collection grew through the years I noticed I was placing each addition next to it's similar movie type. When it started getting too large, I made each shelf it's own movie. My smaller movie collections are categorized by an animal movie shelf or my Pixar films shelf. Thanks for the lovely comments!

Wow :worship: :worship: :worship: very impressive collection !

Thank you so much! It can be a little overwhelming at times.

Wow!!! What an amazing collection, Jessica!!! :worship: :worship: :worship: I especially love the Mary Poppins pieces - my DD collects unusual Mary Poppins pieces so would love the snowglobe...

Elaine, is that a Thomas Kinkade pic??

Thanks! My Mary Poppins pieces are some of my favorites. She it so classic, isn't she?!

WOW!!! Jessbell, what a fantastic collection

Thank you so much!

JessBell, i'm in awe! :worship: I love your small Monsters Inc snowglobes and actually have one of the myself, did you get them both from WDW? I may just have to pick up the other one on my next trip :)

Thanks! I did get my Monsters Inc. snowglobes at WDW a couple of years ago. I haven't noticed if they are still available or not. I will check next month when I make my next trip.

Jessbell, what a amazing collection you have wow!

Thank you!

Jessbell - what an amzing collection. I don't actually have ornaments in my home as I dread the thought of dusting but I have to admit a couple of your large snow globes had me tempted. I love the Toy Story one.

I also like all the prints you have - now I could be tempted to start collecting these - not so much dusting involved! :rotfl:

Everyone - I just love coming on here every day and catching up on all your collections. :thumbsup2

Yes, the dusting can become quite a chore. I have to admit it gets away from me at times.

Jessica, I've been taking a more leisurely look through your collection this morning and am very impressed not only with its size and scope but particularly by the care in which you have organized everything. (That appeals to my librarian heart.) I copied your beautiful corner case that you've lovingly filled with Cinderella treasures in this reply so that you could see I've put my special Cinderella things in a similar cabinet. (In fact the cabinets look identical down to the hardware it's just that I had mine painted white a few years ago.)

The tiny ceramic Cinderella in the right corner was a premium that came with a Cinderella watch, every girl's birthday wish when I was in school. It is 60 years old.

There are Enchanted Places things in the bottom of the cabinet. The "large" Alice accompanied an Alice watch. I wish I still had those watches!

Wow! You do have the same shelf. Isn't funny that we both used if for our Cinderella pretties. I inherited my shelf from my grandmother. She use to keep all of her Precious Moments in it when she had it. Thank you for taking the time to look at more of the detail of my collection. I love your Cinderella collection. You have a ton that I have never seen!

Hello, hello!!! Another day, another Disney @ Home photo!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

But first a bit of back story - I had a voucher for the online H. Samuel store as I had shopped there for Christmas gifts so when they recently had some new Jim Shore pieces in, I treated myself to this guy!!! :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :cloud9:

That's a good idea, Claire - I would NEVER have thought of doing that!!! :headache: I collect pins too (mainly ones that are relevant to our trips - resorts, dated ones, restaurants) and don't trade but would like to display them somehow... I bought the Advent pin tree from Disneyshopping.com last year and that was such fun but I'd like to have something a little more permanent... Methinks I will be copying... :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :worship:

Cool go for it. :thumbsup2

I took me a while to figure out how I wanted to display them as I had them in a pin folder that I got in WDW but that was just chucked on a book shelf out of sight....the top of the memo board is a white board so you can write on it and wipe it off then the bottom half is a cork board, I found I only used the white board part so its perfect to display my pins. :thumbsup2

Very cute. A wonderful piece for your collection. Walt famously said that it all started with a mouse--this mouse to be precise, good old black and white Mickey.

Wow, Claire, what a bunch of pins! Try putting those on lanyards!! You wouldn't be able to stand up straight. How nice you found a way to get them off the bookshelf and out of the folder so that you can enjoy them every day.

I love that Jim Shore piece - nearly bought it back from the USA but resisted. Not good news that it is available over here!

Time for some of dh's Tinkerbells:
