Disney @ Home pictures

Time for a few more of my study ;)

Mikki, Enjoyed looking at all the lovely things in your study. It was an interesting game spotting figurines we have in common, a couple of them from the older things in my collection so I'll bet you've been collecting for a few years, too. I'm a librarian so it was especially fun reading the names of the books on your shelves and, not surprisingly, we have have a lot of the same titles. Thanks for sharing your home.

Claire which particular Jim Shore ornaments are you looking at as they range from £10 to some which are in the hundreds!!! :goodvibes

None in paticular. I have admired them before in Disney but never bought one so looking at everyones collections inspired me to look on eBay to see if they had any.

Mikki, Your photo sent me to the closet in my computer room for this shot. I couldn't quite angle it to get all of the photo albums and folders of Disney stuff (the very old albums on the top shelf are filled with ancient 78 vinyl records, not Disney stuff--even I'm not THAT old!) Realized as I was taking this, it's been awhile since I printed photos and put them in an album. Digital pictures are a mixed blessing.

Now you've opened a whole new gallery in our Disney @ Home thread, Mikki, the closet. Here are a couple from mine. All those white, collarless garments hanging to the left--Disney T shirts, or course.

It was looking at your study pictures that inspired me! Actually the game spotting is also fun when I go round Minnies house - we had nearly everything in her display cabinets at one stage!

I'm not opening up all my Disney clothes - that would take way too many pictures - lol

Sad, aren't we?!!

If I'm not wearing something obviously Disney at school, students ask where's my Mickey and I have to show them earrings or a watch.

Another picture today and one that still awaits framing! This is from our completely wonderful and magical Mexican Riviera DCL cruise that we took last summer - definitely part of my most fave holiday ever... :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: Just wish I'd bought the pre-framed version and not worried about transporting it - oh well, I'll know for next time... ;) :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Actually the photo doesn't do the colours justice - it's much richer in the flesh...

A couple more of my pictures, this time AKL....again they are waiting frames!

Wow! What the perfect thread for me! I have loved viewing everyone's collections. Seeing everyone's wonderful pictures has made me feel more normal and comforted that there are others out there like me that love everything Disney. Keep posting your wonderful collections!!!

I have a few Disney collections, but my biggest Disney collection is my mini snowglobe collection. I have over 350 mini Disney snowglobes, but I also have a smaller collection of the bigger snowglobes. I have about 30 or so big snowglobes. I also collect lithographs and Mickey Mouse kitchenware. However, also buy anything Disney that I cannot live without. I will post as much of my collections as I can. I hope you enjoy!

Your snowglobes--large and small--put my collections in the shade. 350 mini globes!!! I don't think I have 20 of anything!

Claire, When you have those wonderful Animal Kingdom Lodge prints hanging you'll be able to take a little vacation of the mind everytime you look at them.

Ware Bears, I love your beautiful Rainbow over the Castle picture.

Rachel, Easy to see why you and your Dad had to have the Wendy and Tink snowglobe. (I can see that Peter's back there, too, but we know the real drama in that scene was all about the girls.)

Thought you might like to see the Peter Pan painting my husband Scott did years ago and my PP figurine collection.

JessBell,
While I was writing the previous little note with comments for several people you were very busy posting all those photos of your lovely home so afraid my comments didn't include remarks on your massive send. I think you've proved you have all the snowglobes claimed. I especially loved seeing the wedding things. It was fun to spot a few things we both have. You've done a wonderful job of displaying your treasures.

PS I'm a children's librarian so it fun for me to see that you are (or your husband is) a Chris Van Allsburg fan.
