Disney @ Home pictures

JessBell,
While I was writing the previous little note with comments for several people you were very busy posting all those photos of your lovely home so afraid my comments didn't include remarks on your massive send. I think you've proved you have all the snowglobes claimed. I especially loved seeing the wedding things. It was fun to spot a few things we both have. You've done a wonderful job of displaying your treasures.

PS I'm a children's librarian so it fun for me to see that you are (or your husband is) a Chris Van Allsburg fan.

SusanEllen,
Thank you for your wonderful comment! I also love your Peter Pan art piece and shelf. I have never seen that collection before.

Yes, I am a big Chris Van Allburg fan. I am a fourth grade teacher and use several of his books for lessons throughout the year. Isn't he amazing?!!

JessBell....what an amazing collection!!:scared1: And it all looks neat and not cluttered, how do you do that??????

:worship: :worship: :worship: WOW!!!! Jessbell your collection is amazing! I love the way you have displayed the snowglobes with all the films/characters together & the relevant lithograph behind.

The only thing I don't envy is the dusting! :scared1:

SusanEllen - I love the PP painting - your husband was very talented.

Wow!!! What an amazing collection, Jessica!!! :worship: :worship: :worship: I especially love the Mary Poppins pieces - my DD collects unusual Mary Poppins pieces so would love the snowglobe...

I'll put up the last of my study pictures for now - one more display cabinet and my two Mickey hats. One YOAMD and one with tassel from when I did a Disney Management course

Jessbell - what an amzing collection. I don't actually have ornaments in my home as I dread the thought of dusting but I have to admit a couple of your large snow globes had me tempted. I love the Toy Story one.

I also like all the prints you have - now I could be tempted to start collecting these - not so much dusting involved! :rotfl:

Everyone - I just love coming on here every day and catching up on all your collections. :thumbsup2

More lovely bits and bobs everyone :thumbsup2

Jessica, I've been taking a more leisurely look through your collection this morning and am very impressed not only with its size and scope but particularly by the care in which you have organized everything. (That appeals to my librarian heart.) I copied your beautiful corner case that you've lovingly filled with Cinderella treasures in this reply so that you could see I've put my special Cinderella things in a similar cabinet. (In fact the cabinets look identical down to the hardware it's just that I had mine painted white a few years ago.)

The tiny ceramic Cinderella in the right corner was a premium that came with a Cinderella watch, every girl's birthday wish when I was in school. It is 60 years old.

There are Enchanted Places things in the bottom of the cabinet. The "large" Alice accompanied an Alice watch. I wish I still had those watches!

Mandy, your cute bags could start this thread in a new direction! A personal question now--Do you use your Disney bags as park bags only or do you carry them in "real" life?

I use my black Mickey head bag when I go out in the evening, and especially on the Disney Wonder

The other bags are more 'everyday' bags :)
