Leaving for Orlando in 2 days
Wow, can not believe the time is almost here....1 1/2 more days of work - LONG days of work unfortunately...
Looking forward to seeing everyone on board. We will not be at the meet and greet, but will be giving out our FEs the first morning of the cruise - when you wake up there should be something outside your cabins

Up late working on work. Wishing I had time to do something with finishing my packing. Close to done.

Up late packing. We are staying with friends Fri/Sat nights, and then staying @ Disney after, so we have a lot of before/after packing to do. I feel so nervous about being 'away from land' and on the ship.. We travel a lot, and always have the attitude that we can buy whatever we forget or lose, but not on the ship!

DD is soooo looking forward to going on "Mickey's Boat" -- she keeps asking why we can't go on the boat *now* Distracted her by having her help us pack. She's going through a growth spurt, so some of her clothes from the summer don't fit. We lucked out last night, and found a bunch of summer stuff @gymboree for $3.99/each! We'll have to pick up sandals for her in FL.. she wears different size shoes now then she did in the summer. I completely forgot that she would have outgrown her summer things.. as I pulled out the swim shoes I bought for myself before our first cruise several years ago!

Can't wait.. we are going to try to make it to the meet.

We are getting out of work in about an hour and half...then to the bank...then home to finish packing. Have to be at Puzzlewoman and Wolfhunt's house at 5:45 to load up the van to drive to the airport. Excited.

Welcome home folks! Hope you had a great trip! What was your favorite part? I loved the Villains show and biking at Castaway cay. Samantha liked the splash area at castaway cay and meeting Ariel best, and DH liked building sand castles best.

We didn't label our FE gifts, so I wanted to post what was from us..

First night: Bag of candy with blue ribbon and Mickey n Minnie calendars
Some other night: Google frisbees. For the kids, wikki stix, playdoh and monkey tattoos.

Someone is missing the cover to their red Google Frisbee -- DH couldn't figure out which room it was. If it's you, pm or post and we can mail it to you.

Have you heard or found online, anything more about the person overboard on the other ship? I couldn't find anything.

Had an amazing time!!!! Loved the cruise, now still at Disney World for another day until back to reality

Highlights of the trip - Believe and the Golden Mickeys, Cabanas buffet, Cookies Buffet, Castaway Cay, the weather!, checking the FE

Lowlights - really none, did not like Animator's Palate that much (too loud and we could not hear Crush as we were tabled in the middle), Villains (expectations were high and were not met). But these were minor lows - the cruise was amazing overall and I can not wait to go back on another one real soon!!

Thanks to everyone for all the Fish Extender fun! Our kids loved checking for "mail" every day!

We had a great cruise and are sad to be back in snowy cold IL. Our favorite things were the AquaDuck and the Midship Detective Agency!

Thanks to all. The kids loved getting mail. We felt like we were pretty unorganized with our gifts. Now we know what it really is We will be better prepared next cruise. Wife booked 2 placeholders cruises while we were on board.

My daughter picked the red one and then realized it didn't have a cover but no worries she loves it still all the same. don't worry about trying to send it.

We were the DCL Dream cruise stickers and candy / bubbles / chapstick

We were in a DVC member meeting when we first boarded so missed meeting people that first night. We won the door prize so glad we went but wanted to meet everyone from here as well. You might have seen me with all the Pirate Mickey/ DVC tattoos all over my back.

Hello Everybody,
Boy was that cruise a blast. We loved it soo much...we booked Jan 12-19, 2013. Cannot wait to go again. We absolutely loved the FE gifts...and have had a blast with everything. Our door was overflowing with Magnets by the end of the trip...which just tickled us!!! Hope everyone likes the scrapbooks, and hope everyone enjoyed all the shows as much as we did!!!
Only downside of the trip...was how rocky the last night was since we were moving so fast to get back on track for our docking schedule. But...I survived...just took lots of Bonine.

Glad to see everybody especially Heathrow's little girl and her singing to us!!!

We had a blast on the cruise as well. Followed by 4 nights at Disney (it got cold).
The last night the kids had a baby sitter and we had the corner table at the California Grill overlooking the MK during the fireworks. It almost made up for not getting to Palo.

Sorry for not getting to the meet and greet. Unfortunately, we seem to do too much of what the kids want and sitting in one of the lounges so soon after boarding the ship wasn't their idea of fun.

Would anyone like a DCL key chain that comes in the Castaway Club gift? I already have 2 and got another this trip. First rely gets it, PM me with your address and I'll drop it in the mail.

I wonder if cruise lines saw sales dip and dropped prices because of the Concordia? I feel like I have heard nothing but ads on the radio for super bargain cruises. Maybe it's just that I wish I were back on the boat!
