Disney Dream 8th January 2012

Okay I must have missed the worlds biggest McDonalds ... where is this place?

It is on International Drive in Orlando....where there is also the world's largest Hard Rock Cafe :) We are going to hit both the day before the cruise :)

Winter storm today in Minnesota - ready to go down to Florida on Saturday - ONE WEEK AWAY!!!!!

We are flying out Wednesday morning!:goodvibes Just one last question about FE. Can we deliver on any day or are we going to assign days to spread out the gifts. We have done it both ways before so it doesn't matter to us, just didn't want to miss something.

We have always just picked a time that fit our schedule to deliver gifts, no one has said anything otherwise, so just do what you want to do! As this is a 4 day cruise, there are not many days to spread out anyway:rotfl:

You didn't ask me but this is who we used for our FE amongst other things and she is fabulous!!!! I ordered my FE last week and got it the other day. She is so quick and wonderful.

I cannot wait for the cruise. We finished up packing and we will be working on the rest of our FE gifts this weekend!

Can someone confirm (to ease my anxiety) that all we need if we don't have a passport is our birth certificate and a license?

Cute!!! I ordered a pillow case dress from her :)

Happy New Year every one :banana::banana:

Now it is time to Pack Pack Pack and the Pack somemore reorganize and see if you can make everything fit within the weight limit:confused3:confused3:confused3
What did I forget this time

We are pretty much packed, now I need to get all the Christmas decorations put up before we leave. It will be fun meeting all you folks!

Hi everyone!!
I am at JfK airport on my way to Orlando for our first cruise tomorrow!!! I'll make sure the boat is all nice and ready when you get on!!!

See ya real soon!!!

Meet and greet List District Lounge 3.30pm

Is the meetup on the day we get on the ship? If so, will everyone be on by 3:30? It sounded like District lounge is an adult portion of the ship-- will we be able to bring our daughter with us?

Thanks!

The Dream's all aboard time is 4pm, everyone should be on board by then. The District lounge is for adults but generally only at night. You should be able to bring your daughter in the afternoon. They often have all the lounges and kids club on open house so you can check it out. My understanding is the meeting is on the day we board the boat at the Lounge at 3:30.
cant wait to see you all... got to start packing....so much to do, so little time
see you all soonpirate:

Happy New Year everyone.

I hope everyone has a safe trip. For those lucky ones already in Orlando or doing the B2B, ENJOY!!!
See you on board! :cool1:
Jeff.

Getting so close !! Can't wait - of course everyone in our house has had a cold this past week so here is hoping we are all clear by the weekend

Started the packing...but haven't weighed the big suitcase yet...have a feeling we will be paying overage on it no matter what I do! Can't wait to see you all...have final touches to FEs to make tonight...then find places throughout the suitcases for them!!! It's getting so close and so exciting!!!

Might check and see if it is less expensive to check another bag, will depend on the airline, flying out if Cinnci, my guess is you might be on Delta.

Right now it is warmer here in Cheyenne than it is in MCO, :lmao::lmao:, now if we just had a ocean here....:thumbsup2:rotfl2:;)

See you real soon, safe travels one and all.

Got FE packed into big suitcase...it only weights 40 lbs so far...and I'm going to tuck in some toiletries into the open spots. Looks like we've done good!

Slight concern:

Isn't the Life Boat Drill from 3:15 - 3:45??? Does someone know if that is the regular time? It is mandatory for the fire drill...and I don't want to miss people at the District Lounge?:confused3

Thanks,

Cheeser

The lifeboat drill is at 4:00, according to the most recent navigator that I've found. I don't think the time changes.
One good thing is you don't have to bring your life vest to the drill anymore (at least not the last cruise I did), so you could go from the lounge to your location.

FYI. Here is the most recent Dream 4 day navigator that I found (beware it is 1 big pdf file). It is from November. Kind of fun to see what is available, my kids already decided what they don't want to miss in the club.

Jeff.

I do believe you are correct, we have not had to wear life vests lately, only problem will be to find our stations from the lounge - just be sure to remember what letter you are so you can find muster station! Actually, I think it is on your "Key to the World" card.

Can't wait to meet everyone!

Thanks so much...was tickled to see a recent Navigator and you've addressed my concerns.
