Defy Gravity...
errr your thinking gradify(sp?)Babyjustrun said:Well-.
I'm not going into it scientifically.
But if someone told me to defy gravity, I would believe it means to:
Do your best, shock people. Do stuff that makes you happy and makes a difference in the world, your community, etc. Be amazing.
And that my friends, is a theatre geek answer. Take no offense... for I am one too and would have answered the exact same way you did.TheGirlin14G said:It is to say, "Sir Isaac Newton, I defy your law in which you state that every particle in the universe attracts every other particle with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them."
Or as the song from Wicked suggests it could mean:
-Not playing by the rules of someone else's game
-No second guessing
-Not going back to sleep
-Trusting your instincts, closing your eyes, and leaping
-Being through accepting limits cause someone says they're so
-Accepting that some things you cannot change, but untill you try you'll never know
-Not being afraid of losing love you guess you've lost - because if that's love it comes at much too high a cost
-Believing that everyone deserves a chance to fly
-Not letting anybody(in all of Oz, no wizard that there is or was) bring you down

-Realizing that you can't or don't want what " You've always wanted" anymore.
-Knowing defying gravity means you're unlimited.
