December 15, 2012 A Yo-HO-HO-HO Holiday Fantasy!

I'm trying to get ahead on FE gifts and I'm trying to get an idea of age ranges.
Just wondering, it's never too early to plan :)

Kevin wants David to either get his computer fixed or go back to work so they can play.:thumbsup2

I have to go to bed early tonight so I can get up and ressies for post cruise tomorrow.

SKye- seriously wants to retire where it is warm- thinking as she waits for the snow to finish melting

Someone askied about what time they let you off the shiip. It is usually around 7:30- 8- It kind of depends when they clear the ship.

If anyone is staying in the port area after or before the cruise there is a lot to see in this area. The Space Center is about 10 from the port and there is the Merritt Island Willife Trail up near the Space Center, It is a pretty nice ride and there are plenty of birds, crocodiles and other wildlife milling about.
You can also do some deep sea fishing on a charter boat from the port. I think they go out in the morning and come back around 4.

Of course there are some good resturants on the area and some minature golf courses right in the area

Just a few thoughts for those not going to DW. If you have any questions I will try to answer them

I'm getting a warm and fuzzy kind of feeling. :lovestruc This is going to be a great cruise:woohoo:

Dale................Dude..............I know real guys have feelings, care about certain people, even cry (once in awhile) .................but Dude.................NO hugging please!!! I mean you are a nice guy and all that................looking forward to meeting you...............but sheeeeeeishhh. A hand shake will do..............ok???

Go back to work!!!! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo......................:scared1::scared1::scared1: You scared me there for a minute!!!! Whew!!! Want to let all know that the ol' computer is finally up and running. Still need to resore some photo's we have stored on Dell's online backup. But I can do that in my leisure. This took longer then I expected. Not a computer whiz here, in fact I know just enough to get me in more trouble. But I finally got it up and going again.
It goes from one thing to another around our household. Having a new water heater put in today. The old one is on it's last legs. It is the original water heater from when we had the house built 16 years ago. Having it replaced before it decides to stop working and we are hot waterless.
Hope all has a good day today. Talk to you again later!!!:woohoo:

Hey Dave just make sure you don't get into to much hot water changing the water heater:lmao:

So where are we meeting for the Horse Shoes?:confused3

Kevin

Greetings folks :thumbsup2 Weekend was snowy and icy, today is warm and rainy, can't the weather be motorcycle riding friendly? :confused3 DW and i had a great time Saturday with a reunion from our Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk we did last October. They are a great group of people (i'm sure you all will also be a great group). Yesterday was a bummer of a day football wise:headache:. Well it's Monday and work day so it's back to Disney Cruise mode:cool1: And David, handshakes are ok.

I can relate to snow and icy and then warm and rainy. That is whatg we had last week and this weekend. :confused3

We had 15-18" of snow over 3 days and then 3 days of rain. At least the sun is shining today.

I can't wait to get on board. It will be a blast.

I promise to get on the FE list this week. Back in school and 'playing' online takes a bit of a back seat, but will try to get all updated in a google doc and post the link.

Kevin

New hot water tank up and running great!!! No problems. Even unclogged the garabage disposal for DW. She needs to stop throwing my misques in cooking down the drain. So it was a little burned..............if you scraped the black off of it, it tasted pretty darn good. Kinda like it was off the ol' BBQ grill.

Didn't you say a page or so that the horse shopes were on Deck 7 - the secret aft area? I've never been there - this will be a first for me.:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Disney just needs to out some signs, "Slippery When Wet!!!"

That's on the Wonder- not sure about the fantasy.

I know there is a secret aft area but do they really have horse shoes there?!???
Or was Kevin just pulling my leg. He does that to me all of the time you know. There was the time............................well I won't go into it.................but my face got sooooooooooooooooooooooooo red you wouldn't believe it!!! DW said "what's the matter sweetie"...........................she calls me sweetie every now and then...............................other times she calls me......................no I.....I......I better not put that on here............................anyway, she said "are you running a tempature??.................your face is sooooooo red!!!" I said no............it was just something Kevin had said!!!! And, it upset me soooo much................I couldn't believe he had said that. It's something I can't and won't repeat. (It's that man club thing. We will not devulge our discussions with anyone - especially the wives!!!) Now Skye don't be too hard on him, I think he just got caught up in the moment. And, it was something he needed to get off of his chest. I'm just glad I could be here for him to vent, and rant, and rave. I'll bet you didn't even notice the change in him did you? Again, it's that man club stick toitness bonding we do in the secret meetings. (We have a secret handshake and everything.) Well, I have said wayyyyyyyyyyyy to much, hope I don't get kicked out of the organization. But, I don't think I have said anything here that our wives don't already know. Kevin, Dude, you are the best!!! If you were here now, I would shake your hand..........(not the secret handshake though.):ssst::ssst:

Dale, it can't be our secret man club handshake. I needs to be a regular manly handshake. The wives have never seen the secret man club handshake. And, in fact in the by-laws it states we cannot secret handshake outside in public. (In fact I need to get the man club handbook out to see how to do the secret handshake again. I have missed the past few meetings in my local chapter.) I've kept the dues paid in full though. So Dale, I am a member in good standing.

Sorry to hear your weather wasn't that nice. We have had some decent weather here. I believe the weather calls for sunshine again today. High near 80 degrees. Whew..............this weather is sooooooooooooo hard to take sometimes!!!:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Hope you have a good week at work this week Dale. I'll be reading, watching TV, working in the yard, you know all of that ol' boring stuff. Nothing interesting like you'll be doing at work!!!:woohoo:

After rain yesterday...I am hoping the fog burns off and it is the sunny 63 degree day they were calling for.

On to our cruise....I am so excited. Yesterday, I booked a day sail in St Thomas. Lunch, snacks, drinks(open bar), snorkeling equipment are all included. There are 4 of us and the boat holds 6...at this point I am not will the fork over the additional bucks to make it a private sail. Anyone want to so with us. If so pm me as there are 2 more seats and I'll give you the info.
Nice thing about it, she has a friend that is a taxi driver so those arrangements are made as well for round trip transportation.

Let me know if someone is interested.

Lee

I don't even show my wife my "Man Card", not that she has ever questioned my membership. It's just something you hold on to but should never have to show except for our meetings. Just like the secret handshake. Not the handshake with the knife in the back patting hand though. Just make sure you are paying your dues. Otherwise some nice people will come to visit you and request your card. This time of the year the only work i can do in the yard is.. well let's just say we have two dogs. You can get the picture. My personal mine field. I do love reading since i discovered that building were you can go to and borrow books, cd's and dvd's without paying for them. I did found out by accident that the store with a big target on the side prefers you to actually pay for these items. Last time i go there. Well, i've rambled as long as i have waited in line to ride the Aqua Duck. Time to stop hogging the thread.

My lips are sealed, no one will pry the secret hand shake from me. As for my dues, lets just say mine are paid in full for my life time.

Dale, I don't show my wife the "Man Card" either. What picture do you have on the front of yours? How about you Kevin? I know you can put any picture on the front you want. I have..............................................................I shouldn't.....................no, I can't tell..........................should I?..........no I just can't............................. (We'll have to compare cards when we get on board the ship.)
Oh man Dale, be sure to watch your step outside.:scared1: Maybe you should put out some signs in your yard - "Walk At Your Own Risk" or "Hazardous Waste Zone Ahead" - something like that.:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

No David, don't reveal your Man Card picture on this thread :scared1: There might be some females lurking on here:confused3. Speaking of.. were are they all at? :confused3 Are they intimidated by us or are they thread stalking? While watching the latest episode of "Moonshiners" on TV the other night :happytv: i thought i should probably start training for our cruise. Is anybody else in training for the cruise :yay: and if so how?

You guys (yes, the guys :lmao:) have had me laughing out loud (literally)! :rotfl::rotfl2:

My BF Jackie (ibouncetoo) has been chit-chatting with me about this cruise & since I won't be doing DCL's Med with Greece cruise in 2013, she thought it would be a good idea to join her on this one! (isn't she the bestest?)

I know some people already (Charlotte/John, Lisa/Darrell) and am looking forward to meeting the others.

This will either be my last cruise as a Gold or the 1st cruise as a Platinum (depending on whether or not I want to do a short 3 day-er for my birthday in November).

I live now 20 minutes from WDW, but went to HS in Northern VA (Burke, Fairfax County), college in Ashland (Randolph-Macon) & lived in the West End of Richmond for years (worked in Innsbrook & Goochland). Too funny meeting people from my old stomping grounds :thumbsup2

Do you remember what street you lived on in Ashland when you went to RMC? I grew up here and ended up moving to Ashland to raise my kids.

Let me guess you worked at Capital One?
