My work day was done around 10. I played games on the iPad until the battery died. Time for some posting and check some email until i go home at 2.
Updates on the father situations. FIL is quite comfortable in the hospital, it's double pneumonia but will be fine.
Way more concerned with my own father, he's not looking or sounding very good. Going for a new, hard hitting chemo next week, directly at his lungs which are getting worse. He's going to Kay very low this holiday season, even to the point he confided in me he might not even go out for Christmas dinner at my brothers if the chemo is Taft bad, going to mark up his face with blemishes and sores. They are arranging for him to see a lung specialist. We did a small job today and it just took everything out of him, laying down. Never seen him like this.

Hey Guys,
Productive day today. The Apple Geniuses fixed the last issue with the computer (again it did not cost me a cent) and I finished Christmas shopping. Well, except one gift for SIL but that will be done online and I have until early January. Decided to celebrate with lunch and a cocktail at Cheesecake Factory. Even Chris's Not so Secret Santa gift arrived. Who knew Amazon sold coal?
Spent the afternoon working on a video of the Kona trip including our dives for the kid. She wants to present it to her Ecology Club. If you want to spend 15 minutes of your life you will never get back, the link is below. The video quality isn't the best but they don't have an HD option on Youtube.

Good Morning Dads - only 14 work days until Christmas time off!
CJ - Great pics and nice feast. DD went back to school Sunday as well for finals week and is back home for Christmas this Saturday. I'll second the no sympathy for them point
Here's a couple of our decoration pics:
Built in bookcase that has Dickens village on top two shelves, North Pole village on the bottom and A Christmas Story in the middle...
Some more Christmas decoration pics to hopefully help with the holiday spirit. DS favorite village is of course, Mickeys Christmas Village...
SWMBO is already planning what to get the kids for next Christmas. A Disneyland trip it is! Sounds like she wants to make it a surprise too.

You must work in a research lab to put in hours like that.

I may need to turn in my Dad card. They were having an opening reception for the meeting tonight and ....
I walked away from free Yuengling Lager.I could justify it by saying I needed to call my kids before they went to bed, and I did call them, but the reality may actually be that I didn't feel like hanging around socializing for crackers, meatballs and beer. .
