Hey guys! Just checked in and our in our room 7825 :cool1:

Getting ready for 1900 Park Fare :woohoo:

Wish me luck :thumbsup2

I'll try to get pics posted in the morning.

Park Fare is awesome, have a great time!

Muppet movie was EXCELLENT. She made some close friendships due to some forums she has been on since the birth of our youngest DD (she was a 32 week premie) and is glad I found friends of my own and do not have to "poach" hers.:rolleyes1

My first thought of the last part of this was: If you had to poach, does that mean at some point they are in season??:lmao:

Had a good day with the girls, but....**RANT ON** We went over to the local park so the girls could run off some steam, Audrey wanted to go down the slide, but a whack of kids were climbing up one, the other they were trying to jam everyone on it. Audrey sat to go down, but the kids were jamming the bottom and actually YELLED at here to get out of the way. I did not yell back, but Amelia helped her climb down, she was very very upset. Parents? Did NOTHING. They were at the other end of the playground yelling at their other kids for getting dirty. They saw the kids acting up but chose to ignore them. I will not yell at other people's kids. We used thge swings after and one of their kids came over to them crying cause of one the others jumped on her head, they kept her there to cry it out, not bothering to step in or say anything to the ones acting up. I got so disgusted we then left. I hope Karma comes back and bites them HARD, stuupid ignorant do-nothing excuses for parents. **RANT OFF**

My parents had a wonderful time with the girls afterwards, and kept us over for dinner, and even out on the Disney Christmas Sing-Along DVD, (it reminds mom of her childhood with songs and images)....

I hear ya, but once of the other kidd yelled at my child, then it's on. I would have told the others to move so my child can slide down the slide. Then, I would have moved to the other swings. I figure that if parents aren't intervening, and my child is involved, then I am intervening.

I agree....a good piece of advice i got once was "If you dont stand up for your kid no one else will either"

Man, I step out for a couple of days to get down to Disney via the Space Center, and all manner of wackiness breaks loose. Shesh.

Long day of travel Thursday, Kennedy yesterday (with kids who were just more than a handful - my son threw a major tantrum at the Lego exhibit the Space Center, and it was a bad day for everyone, including me). Today was much better - the Mars rover lifted off on time, the kids got to see dolphins at the spot where we viewed the launch, and we are currently at OKW - the kids are out, which is good, because we have to be at MK for rope drop tomorrow.

I'll write a full trip report later, dads - I promise.

Yup, we are full of it - wackiness that is. Waiting on a trip report? We've heard that one before as well, right Don.

I missed me sum zerfonics. I blame it on the iPhone.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield this PM, my home has been invaded my 2nd and 4th grade girls for a sleepover. I am hiding in my upstairs bunker.

Lauren sounds like she is a lot like Brianna...I don't think I will ever have to worry about anyone running over her. Ethan on the other hand...well...he sees the good in everyone. He things everyone is his friend. Een in basketball I have to tell him you are not there to take turns..you are there to take the ball!

our local high school football team just won the pa. distict 11 championship!!!only the third time in school history!!!(beat easton, mijos schol)
one of the guys who graduated last year was at the game. hes a running back for princeton and was just named ivy league rookie of the year!!!
this stuff doesnt happen in a small town like ours!! the fire dept. is out with the fire trucks blowing the horns.

What it came down to was, the parents looked like the type who'd start something with little provication, and I tend to have a rather thin temper as it is, I do not want to start a fight with my two kids (or twokids:rotfl2: ) BUT I sure as hell made a comment out loud on the way out. My parents more then made up for the lost park time.

My oldest is the opposite. She sees the good in everyone. She is a little more aggressive in basketball, but with soccer, she would just not engage with the others. My youngest on the other hand is aggressive, and if someone fouls her, regardless of whether or not it's called, she will seek out the player who fouled her and she takes them out. I don't coach any of my players that way, but she learned it herself.

:thumbsup2 reminds me of the story you told when she was missing on the ship. :lmao: she'll be fine!!! its good to see the good in everyone also, he'll be fine! :thumbsup2

My mouth can get me in trouble. It's probably best you took the high road. I want my children to stand up for themselves, but I also know that bullies sometimes travel in packs (albeit children or parents). So, it does have to depend on the situation.
