Hi everyone! It's been a long week, and I've not been on the DIS since Monday.

Jennifer - Your dad is still in my prayers. As are you and your family. Please keep us updated.

Deb - You continue to amaze me with all you do! I seriously want to be you when I grow up! I'm glad that Hunter feels better.

Vickie - I think making the drive every weekend is a good idea. You and Chuck need to see each other as often as possible. Just remember not to drive drowsy! Congrats on the weight loss! Wish I could have some results like that, but I think it will take some exercise on my part.

Tammi - How was the grass mowing? Ours is still pretty brown, oh, yeah, and we've got snow coming down this morning, so no mowing for us for a while. Jacob's a bit bummed, since that's his primary way of earning money, and he is saving up for a DS.

Tia - I'm glad you got to see the baby. There's nothing like seeing that little life inside of you, huh? Take care of yourself, ok? Rest A LOT! You will get tired more easily, now, and you need to take care of that!

I've had a really hard week, here. I'm studying the heart, and various coding procedures, and I really don't understand anything that I've read. It's frustrating, and makes me really nervous to take the test. I'm weeks behind schedule, as I'm supposed to finish the class by the first week in April, and I still have one third of the lessons to do. All of that has combined to make me stressed out and cranky! I've tried to get someone from the organization to call me so I can arrange a face to face meeting with someone, but they've ignored my emails, and phone messages. So, I'm not doing so hot!

Other than that, I'm ok. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Hi everyone! I'm sorry that I didn't make it on sooner today. However, I got a message from Jennifer this afternoon that her dad has been diagnosed with B Cell Lymphoma. They aren't sure how bad it is yet, but she thanks everyone for their continued prayers.

thanks TIa for posting. I can't post about this on facebook yet as I have family members on facebook. We are not telling them until we have all the info. We don't want his mom to know before we know exactly what we are dealing with. They are going to do a bone marrow biopsy and another biopsy of the spot in the lung as the cancer dr said tonight she was not positive it was negative. She said if this biopsy was negative then she would believe it as 2 times means its true? They are also going to do a CT scan of his neck tomorrow hopefully.

On top of that we have a fund raiser for March of Dimes tomorrow. I got home and got ready to make muffins for the fund raiser in the morning and have no oil. SO Jeff is bringing some home hopefully soon so I can go to bed, soon.

 I hope you get some good news, Jennifer. And thanks to Tia for posting this quickly. I am sorry I missed it earlier. :(

Glynis - Is there someone higher up you can contact about the lack of communication from your course providers? That sounds pretty frustrating to me. Keep at it... I have faith in you!

Deb - I was glad to read that Hunter seems to be fine. :)

Janet - you will survive having a teenager driving. I promise!! ::yes::

Tia - Lots of rest prescribed by Dr. Elin. It will be many, many years before you will be resting again. ;)

I keep trying the only phone number and email address I have, but so far, no response. The only thing I can do is just keep trying. Thanks for the faith. That helps a lot!

Jennifer-:hug:continued prayers for your Dad.

Deb-glad to hear Hunter is feeling a bit better.

Debbie-sorry to hear the shoulder isn't much better. hope you see improvement soon!:wizard:

Marci-love your new signature photo!

Tia-the exhaustion should end soon for a few weeks. nice that you got to see a peak of the baby!

Janet-Emma has grown a lot!

Glynis-:wizard:Good luck with the coursework!!!

Thanks everyone! I keep waiting for that "your fatigue should be easing soon" part of the "your baby this week" email to kick in. Somehow I wonder if it ever really will. That's okay though. I'll get through it fine. That's the nice thing about having a little baby right now - I can nap too.

Today was a nice easy day as well as mom got off early and picked the baby up at 12:30. Now tonight, Terra and I are going to go to Red Robin and then the weekend is basically free!

I know that you can do this. You may need to change your time frame and let yourself absorb this stuff. Maybe you could change your end date to May or June which would take some pressure off and I bet that you would feel less stressed and maybe do better :confused3 You're trying to tackle so much, with the kids and the household as well as school, you've got a lot going on.

Hunter is feeling fabulous. He went to school today and he said that the 2 shows today went off very well. 2 more shows tomorrow then the play is history for this year.

Colby woke up at 4:30 this morning with a tummy ache. He was up for about 30 minutes before he fell back asleep. I was sure that I wouldn't be able to sub and that we wouldn't be able to start his ADHD meds. Thankfully he woke up feeling fine. We fed him and gave him his first dose. While I didn't see any huge improvements, I didn't see any side effects either. Since we won't get to a dose that is expected to help him for a couple of more weeks, we'll call today a success.

Tomorrow morning I'm a volunteer lifeguard at the place I used to work for Colby's cubscout pack. Woo Hoo, 2 hours in my bathingsuit watching a group of overactive boys...what have I gotten myself into?

I chose not to mow yet. Instead I sprayed some weed and feed w/ crabgrass killer on the entire lawn. I need to get these weeds under control. They are what needs mowing, not the grass!

Good morning. :)

Deb - Good luck with the meds for Colby. Hopefully the docs have got it right the first time and you won't have to go through too much tweaking.

Today is the county's Music and Arts Festival. Alyssa has some artwork displayed in it and Nicholas is singing with his school's chorus. After that I need to start some shopping for the kids. Alyssa needs to be with me to try stuff on, especially shoes, since they are never the same size from one store to another.

I hope you all enjoy your Saturday!

Glynis - I hope you are able to get ahold of someone soon! I know you can do this, you might just need a little extra time. You're on busy momma!

Stephanie - Good to see you! Enjoy your lunch and trip planning.

Deb - Glad Hunter is doing better and that Colby was able to start his medication.

Hi Heidi!!!! Enjoy your trip planning. I love the Food and Wine!:cool1::thumbsup2

Hi Stephanie

Thanks and if you have any tips, send them on. :)

It was an exciting day. We decided to move the lilac trees which are next to the house. We got one of them out - it is about 8 feet tall. We split it in half and got one of them transplanted. We wanted to water that half before getting the other half planted.

We were having problems with the hose so Chuck asked me to go in the basement for another one. Thank goodness he did! I walked in and water was pouring in the basement. We now know what the big bang was yesterday morning. It was the pipe bursting to the faucet outside. Luckily, the water was contained about 95% in the area that has no carpeting so nothing was ruined.

Both halves of the one lilac tree are now planted but we did only one tree instead of both. Hopefully, we'll be up to doing that one tomorrow. We have been meaing to get this done every spring for at least 4 years.

Another day in the books. We had a cub scout swimming event this morning. I was asked to volunteer to lifeguard for the event. No one seemed to care and in fact the people that knew I was coming never bothered to tell the guards that would be there. Thankfully I had worked with a couple of them before so all was good. I must say that I quickly realized that I do not miss that job at all. In fact things are so screwed up that you would have thought I had just worked yesterday. I am still amazed at how such a disfunctional facility is still in business. None the less the cub scouts had fun and all went well. I did my 2 hours and left. We came home and I watched the DVC webcast. I can't say that I learned anything new, but I was suprised to that the woman who plays Dee Vee Cee was the hostess and she was herself. I picked up on the mannerisms and facial expressions immediately.

Chris got into it with his mother today. She called him on Wednesday and wanted him to help her move today. He spoke to her last night and told her that he wasn't available in the morning, but would meet her at her old apartment at 1 PM. He waited there for over an hour and she didn't show up. He tried to call her phone and his sister's phone, no answer. At 4:15 his sister calls (his mother didn't have balls enough to call herself) and said that they thought he wasn't going to help so they did it without him. He finally argued with his sister enough and she put his mother on the phone. She claimed miscommunication, blah blah blah. He was yelling at her like he would have one of the boys (whoo hoo) He is sure that she did it to spite him since he didn't go running over in the morning (he had committed to the swim event weeks ago). That woman is certainly spawn of the devil. It is interesting that I don't even have to get involved and she is single handedly ruining whatever relationship they had left. :sad2:

Since the boys had 2 performances today they had to be at school at 1 PM. Since it was just Colby, Chris and myself we decided to go out to eat. Colby was so cute, he put on a shirt and tye and his "fancy" shoes (boat shoes :rotfl:) We went to the restaurant that I work at and had a really nice dinner. Then it was off to the play. It was "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown". It was cute, but the boys in the cast really couldn't carry a tune:rolleyes1 Overall I guess it was a success. Tomorrow morning we need to go to help tear it down then we can put that behind us.

For whatever reason I have been breaking out in hives ever since we got to the school gym. I am an itchy mess and I have no idea why. I'm not cold :confused3
