Vicki - I am glad you are going home this weekend. Drive safely and enjoy your time with Chuck!

Debbie - How is your shoulder doing? I have been thinking about you lately and hoping the PT was helping.

Hunter is fine today. I did keep him home and let him sleep in. He's been super busy this week with school, tech crew and lacrosse. I'm sure that didn't help with whatever he had. Thanks for the pixie dust.

Oh no -- I hope he's feeling much better today. Could it have been low blood sugar? Those symptoms are how I feel when mine is low.

I'm so sorry. I hope you have a terrific weekend. Congrats on the weight loss. :goodvibes

Sounds like a small piece of good news. I hope they find out what it is and that it is as easy a fix as possible.

How's your shoulder?

Morning everyone! :)

Debbie - How is your shoulder doing? I have been thinking about you lately and hoping the PT was helping.

Actually, to be honest, the shoulder sucks. I don't remember the last time I slept through the night. I can wash my hair without being a contortionist now so I guess I've made some progress, but that's about it. All the research I've done tells me this is going to be a long drawn out process so I'm probably doing as well as to be expected, I can live with the limited mobility, it's the pain I have issues with. I go back to the doctor on the 6th so we'll see what he has to say then.

Thanks for asking though.

Debbie - I'm sorry to hear that you are still in so much pain. I was hoping that the PT would be helping by now.

Deb - Glad to hear that Hunter is okay!

Hi everyone! I'm sorry that I didn't make it on sooner today. However, I got a message from Jennifer this afternoon that her dad has been diagnosed with B Cell Lymphoma. They aren't sure how bad it is yet, but she thanks everyone for their continued prayers.

thanks TIa for posting. I can't post about this on facebook yet as I have family members on facebook. We are not telling them until we have all the info. We don't want his mom to know before we know exactly what we are dealing with. They are going to do a bone marrow biopsy and another biopsy of the spot in the lung as the cancer dr said tonight she was not positive it was negative. She said if this biopsy was negative then she would believe it as 2 times means its true? They are also going to do a CT scan of his neck tomorrow hopefully.

On top of that we have a fund raiser for March of Dimes tomorrow. I got home and got ready to make muffins for the fund raiser in the morning and have no oil. SO Jeff is bringing some home hopefully soon so I can go to bed, soon.

Deb - I hope that Hunter is feeling better in the morning. Sounds like you got a good amount of things done yourself. I hope it helps the stress level! I think having the meeting at school will help too between not having to worry about the house and the bonus of having help on the windows.

Tammi - Hope your busy schedule doesn't get the better of you.

Bernadette - I hope to get a chance to read your trip report soon! I can't wait to see the pictures.

Vicki - I'm glad you're headed home tomorrow. Sounds like it's definitely in need.

Debbie - Wish your shoulder was doing better! :grouphug: Continued :wizard: that the pain at least subsides.

We're doing pretty well here. I can't get past the incredible fatigue, but otherwise feel great. I had my 12 week appt on Monday. The doctor wasn't able to find the heartbeat with the dopplar thing so she did a quick ultrasound. Terra was so excited to see the baby. Me too since I never got to see the screen at the hospital that one weekend. As soon as she moved the wand to get a full-body view the baby's hand was waving back and forth.

My first week with my new charge has been going well. The first day I didn't get much chance to put her down, but by yesterday she was settling in and sleeping well on her own. My old charge's mom also found a job! Well, at least for two months. The person who hired her is really hoping to be able to expand the job to permanent. For me, that means I only have her one day a week for now, but it sounds like her dad might have a new job offer too (he is self-employeed construction/remodelling) so I may have her more soon. Hopefully once we get a good routine going with the new baby I'll be able to get online more. As it is though, I'm a little tired by the time she leaves at 3:15, then have to get the kids, do homework, etc. By the time Chris comes home at 6, I'm totally beat. I've fallen asleep on the couch by 9 every night this week and that's with taking at least one nap with the baby during the day.

Today was good though. The baby's grandma was visiting so she kept her for the day. We took advantage of the day off and Terra, Phil and I spent the afternoon at the art museum and hit Ted Drewes on the way home. It was a nice day together even if we were soaked from sideways rain just trying to get inside the museum.

I hope that everyone else is doing well! I miss chatting with you all, but will hopefully be back on more soon.

Good luck getting to bed soon! Will continue praying!

Oh no. Other things I've tried that helped some are those patches with heat, hot tub or jacuzzi bath etc. I assume they have you on celebrex or something else to help you move it more? I have some other ideas if you need them. I can tell you that it is a long process but it does get much better. I'm glad I did my surgery as before it hurt every time I reached for anything. Now, I have many more good days, and sometimes even days that I have no/very little pain. Hang in there!!!!!! :wizard:

Jennifer -- sending lots of prayers to you and your Dad/family. :wizard:

Jennifer continued prayers for your dad

Jen yay for your upcoming trip!

Stephanie I agree, yay it's Friday! I actually have the weekend off :cool1: I just need to get through today.

Garrett started drivers ed this week, so by the end of the school year he should have his license

Tia - glad to hear that you are doing well. Thank goodness for no sickness.

Jennifer - continued prayers for your dad.

Janet - are you prepared for a teenage driver???

Jennifer, continued prayers for your father and your family.

Tia, sounds like things are going well! I hope that the fatigue eases soon, though with Miles, I don't think it ever left me.

Deb, I hope rest helped Hunter, and he's better today.

Has anyone heard from Elizabeth? Or maybe I've just missed her posts...I've been reading kind of quickly the last week or so.

I'm glad that you are around, Elizabeth! I hope everything is ok.

I know that I often disappear around here due to busy schedule, not having anything to say, or just not being in the mood to "talk" to anyone (online or in real life), but I haven't noticed you missing before.

Theresa, I've been thinking and praying a lot about you, too, and hope things are looking a little brighter for you.
