Glynis - Can't wait to try the recipe. And you say it's easy?!?! Bonus! Maybe I'll make them for breakfast on Saturday since Terra and I have a day to ourselves finally!! How many rolls did your half recipe make? The recipe card the site has says "Servings 8", but I'm not quite believing it.![]()
Great, Katie is failing Spanish! This is with the teacher who had the class dance Thriller. Katie got off to such a bad start & she just can't get back on track.
All of her other grades are A's & some B's so I just cannot figure out what to do. They have a tutoring session at lunch today so i told her she HAD to go. She just does not get it that she'll have to go to summer school & take spanish again if she fails...Teenage girls can be so unreasonable!!!

This wind that we are having is horrible! It's had me up since 2:30!
Would anyone care to get Pooh to sign a postcard or get well card for Hunter? I'm sure he would love to get one. If anyone thinks that they will have time, I will PM you our address
So, for anyone interested, I found the ULTIMATE cinnamon roll recipe! Go to the Pioneer Woman blog and look for her cinnamon roll recipe! It is HEAVENLY!!! It was so easy to do, as well! I only made a half a batch today and that made 25 rolls. Plenty for us and some friends! I adjusted the icing recipe a bit, as well, since we don't drink coffee, but it turned out yummy! Alan took one, ate it, and told me that if we weren't already married, he'd propose to me! That's success! I was planning on making them for neighbor gifts this year, but I'm not sure, now. It was an all afternoon thing, and quite messy. I guess I could do it over the course of a week, or so. Hmmm, I've got time to think about it.
Poor Katie! I can understand her not wanting to talk to the teacher, after what happened with the dancing thing! Is the tutoring done by the same teacher, or is it peer tutoring?
My Katie is doing poorly in pre-Algebra. Unfortunately for her, she has mine and Alan's ability to think math problems through (not good). I keep telling her to talk to the teacher about the tutoring program, but she will not do it. I want her to do this on her own, without mommy stepping in, so I'm staying out of it. At the end of the year, when she doesn't get her cell phone because of the math grade, maybe she'll realize I was right!
