You can request a table for 5 or 25! Seriously, Dis seats groups together--any number of staterooms or people up to what one server team can handle. While table are arranged for 4 or greater, we have had 2 people at a table for 4 on many occasions. IF you want to be seated with another stateroom and you did not make your reservations together, you need to let them know in advance. As long as you booked your reservations together, no matter how many staterooms, they will assume you are a group.
Yes, we had a server moved to another dining area just to accomadate our request. We didn't really care which seating or rotation, we wanted That server. It was so sweet...when we approached the dining room, he greated DD with a big hug and said that "he hoped it was his little sweetheart." He knew he had been moved per a guest request, but wasn't sure who until he saw us. The last time we sailed, he was on vacation. The other servers teased each other that they couldn't flirt with her because she was "Mitcho's girl!" One would come over as another was being sweet and caution him. As an 11 year old, she ate it up!
