CVS ECB deals - Weekly Thread (4/1-4/7)

Went to CVS this am, got the body wash, hair texture softener and lipstick. After coupons CVS PAID ME $2.00 to try them all. Geat deal! My ECBs also printed out immediately. Cool.

I can't find the body wash coupon on the website link.

You are supposed to give them the $4 off $20 with all coupons and are not supposed to be able to use it multiple times. I, in the past have printed out multiples and used them in separate transactions at separate locations and never had a problem (I am not bold enough to do multiples in 1 store consecutively).

I'll go back today and get another bottle of Softsoap w/my new CVS card that I got this am, my old card was almost unreadable. I was waiting to replace it when the new quarter started.

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN!!! I also found a CVS $1.00 OFF SOFTSOAP coupon today with the softsoap in my CVS so you can double these up if your store has them. I saved $2.00-$2.50 depending on what mfg coupon I was using per softsoap so made major $$$ on these!

where did you find the Winter ECBs???? Mine are not up on my account yet....

Mine were there yesterday and I could have printed them. Today they are gone.

I'm heading to CVS now.........to pick up a prescription. I'll pick that up before shopping and my ECB print on my receipt. Will update later!

I wonder where they are....I don't see them available anywhere!! Hmmm..... On a better note, I received a $25 CVS giftcard today in the mail. For those that don't know the story, basically for the past couple of weeks, I have not been treated the best at my local CVS. I finally broke down and called the corporate office. The District manager or whoever, called me back and apologized greatly and sent me a giftcard. I was very pleased, although I didn't expect a $25 giftcard!! YIKES!

My CVS ECB account is only current through 3/24/07 when I look online. And also I didn't get my ECB's printing out automatically when I did my shopping there today. However, the cashier did learn how to enter the computer-printed ECBs when I made three separate transactions

Here's what I got:

Order #1:
Almay Hydraclear Lipstick $8.99 (generates $8.99 in ECBs)
Birthday card from kids to DH $3.99
less $4.00 ECB.
Total OOP: $8.98

Order #2:
Birthday card from me to DH $4.99
Easter candy $1.50
less $2.99 ECB.
Total OOP: $3.77

Order #3:
L'Oreal makeup (BOGO Free) $9.99 (two bottles)
less $2.00 ECB.
Total OOP: $8.59

OK, I could kick myself for not having my coupons with me because I bet I have one for L'Oreal makeup, but still, less than $10 for two bottles is better than what I would pay for a tube of Mary Kay -- I'm squeezing the last of what I have out and was about to reorder but thought I'd take a look today.

And I don't normally pay that much for greeting cards but I forgot to get them when I was out yesterday, so I figured the ECB's I had would offset the cost (they did). I purchased the Lipstick as a trial to see if it would print out my ECBs right then and there but it didn't. Oh well - I have it coming

I hope this won't mean purchases made today won't kick out ECBs... I'd hate that since I bought something specifically because of the ECB with it. I guess we just need to watch our accounts closely.

I agree - I am watching my account online to wait & see if it updates with what I purchased...I should be getting just shy of $40 back in ECB's today and nothing printed I thought it might be because I still have alot of open/unused ECB's and there is a 30 coupon limit meaning that once you hit 30 coupons open it will not print more till you use some or they expire. Once I got online at home I found out about the computer problems at CVS.

It has three of the offers I got listed on the bottom of my receipt saying the offer limit has been reached. These were the free lipstick, the $5 ECB back on $20 of P&G products, and the Mennen deo. Now, my ad says the Softsoap is limit 1 offer, but another board I check has been saying it is a monthly deal with a limit of 5. It lists that I did the Softsoap deal (It says Softsoap, Buy 1 Get 4.49 ECB 1), but it does NOT say the offer limit has been reached, so maybe it is limit 5--for now, anyways.

Oh thanks for this post - I went in and bought my second Softsoap and came home with no ECBs and really nothing on the bottom of the receipt which is unusual!

Back from my trip and mine printed right away for the Alamy lipstick. Still no sign of my $15 Winter ECB's. If they don't appear back in my account in a few days, I'll call.

I just checked the website and the date ending for my account balance is 3/25/07. Yesterday the date was 3-28-07. Strange...........they must have had to GO BACK in their computer.

It seems like the softsoap deal (April) is similar to the toothpaste one last month (March). It was advertised weekly as limit 1 and it was in the ad every week for the whole month but they allowed you to purchase the monthly total in 1 week. I don't knoe if anyone was allowed to buy both the monthly deal and the weekly deal to get 2x the amount.

I went to 1 store this afternoon and got no instant ECB's although 90% of the order qualified for it and went to another store tonight and purchased some items on my 2nd card and got my ECB's back instantly so it looks like whatever the glitch was earlier has been fixed.
