CVS ECB deals - Weekly Thread (4/1-4/7)

I'm 97% Sunday paper, 3% online from Grocery Game link. For just about 5 weeks now I've been saving the coupon inserts (labeling each set with the date of the paper) and I go through them when my GG list comes out. Many people can do it without the GG, but I really don't have the time with all the coupon inserts I've accumulated.

Oh, so you don't go through and cut out all the coupons each week and keep them in the dividers and so forth? Previously, I cut them all out, sorting, pulling out expired, etc. It was very time consuming. If I'm understanding correcting, you just cut out what you need from GG. (Does GG tell you the week of the coupon insert?) I could probably handle that technique.
I'm always learning something new from Dis Boards, esp. budget board. Saving a good bit of $, too.:thumbsup2

Yeah, I don't cut them all and divde them up. Too much time on a Sunday. GG gives you the week the coupon was in the paper as well as which insert it was (Proctor & Gamble, Smart Source, etc.)

Saving $$ is definitely a good thing! I think GG is like $8 for 6 weeks or something like that. Small price for getting more time with my kiddos and more $$ saved at the stores.

These CVS threads are awesome! I'm absolutely making a killing at CVS. I won't need toothpaste for a year at least and I'm getting it for free.

Luckily the cashiers are enjoying it too, they crack up when my ECBs print out at the end of the transaction. My local stores accept multiple ECB coupons and don't make me do multiple transactions.

I purchased the 6 oz crest today but it wasn't free:sad1: The original cost was $3.29 and then the ECB was $2.77. But hey, that's still a good deal for Crest toothpaste. I only bought one to see what would happen so I think I'll leave it at that and wait for some "free" toothpaste later.

I also purchased the Tresemme 40 fl oz for $4.99 but I didn't get an ECB, so I'll be taking that product back. Guess it doesn't work in my area. Was there a certain size or quantity I was supposed to purchase?

I did OK with the limit of (5) on Listerine, Softsoap and toothbrushes. I won't be needing any of those for quite some time. I'm going to have my DM use her card and pick me up (5) more Softsoap and (5) more toothbrushes. Tried the Listerine, let's just say that I don't think ANYTHING could live in my mouth after that.:lmao: HOT, HOT, HOT!

I LOVE CVS!!!!!

You got the ECB for $2.77 but paid $3.29? This is the 1st I heard of a price difference. I know my shelf said the higher price but my receipt said $2.77. If your receipt says the higher price wait till next week to buy the other 4 as it is listed on sale next week for the $2.77.

Regular tresemme does not work (I tried that 1 too). It is for the THERMAL CREATIONS line only! I went back and purchased Curl Activator Spray 8fl bottle (on 1 card) and Volumizing Mousse 6.5oz (on 2nd card) - the bottles are black with white writing and maroon caps/accent. Retail is around $4.29-$4.49 Got back my instant ECB's (LOVE them being instant because now you know if you bought the wrong ones)

LOVE the Softsoap!!! Someone said it reminded them of Playdough and 1 scent does smell like that. I purchased 2 different scents and they smell wonderful! We use regular Listerine around here so we expect the burn your mouth off Mouthwash! :rotfl2:
