Your significant other is off on a trip, do you do anything different?

DH has gone on golf trips and to visit family several times. The big thing is I get up about an hour earlier when he's away-that's his normal wake-up time, and he insists that the cats "expect" breakfast at that time. However, one morning, I accidentally forgot to set my alarm, and woke up an hour Later than usual, and no one bugged me. There goes his theory! But I also find myself going to bed earlier.

I hate to say it but I revert to a 20 y/o college guy. I eat all the bad food and watch all the TV/movies I like but DW doesn't.

I think it has happened maybe twice in 22 years of marriage but I just enjoy having the bed to myself, lol

I've gone on a weekend trip by myself when the rest of my family was visiting my BIL. I've also gone on trips with our kid when my wife went on trips by herself. So it depends a lot on whether or not there's children as part of the equation.
