Custom touring plans from Unofficial Guide authors

I posted this on the Theme Parks board also, but I was so incredibly impressed that I had to share it here too!

I just ordered and received 3 custom touring plans from the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World authors. They are offering these for the first time (as stated in their 2003 guidebook), for $11 each, with a 20% discount on 2 or more plans. I can't remember ever having gotten such WONDERFUL service!!! I can't say enough good things about these people! They contacted me about one of my plans having too many attractions to see during the time I allotted and offered to make any changes I would like; they also recommended which attractions to eliminate that were likely to be a little less interesting than others. Then, they asked me to please contact them with any questions. I did have 2 questions, so I emailed them back. The man who contacted me back thanked me so much for my questions that I felt like I had actually done them a favor! One of my plans was so short they chose not to charge me for that plan. And to top it all off, they gave me a cell number to contact them at if I have any problems with my touring plans (but I would never bother them over something like that). Do not hesitate to order a custom plan from them--they are the BEST!!!

Did you fill out some kind of questionare or something? How did you find out about this? Is there an online site for this or a paper form out of the unofficial guide book?

I loved the Unofficial Guide to Washington DC but have never bought a Disney guide of any kind

I read about it in the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2003 by Bob Sehlinger. The website to go to is www.touringplans.com . There is a questionnaire you download for each plan you're interested in, then you email the completed questionnaire to the email address they give you. They then email you your custom plan. They will also make dining recommendations if you would like. You choose your arrival and departure times, whether you'd like a break during the day, what attractions you want to see, and whether you'll be viewing the parade/fireworks. It's great!

Wow, a custom plan. I wish that they'd had this available when we first started touring WDW. Have fun with it!
