cruise with hotel add on where to stay?

We are planning a cruise next year(possibly Disney or other line) and thought about adding a 1 night stay in WDW? because we are trying to keep this budget wise, however should we splurge & stay near MK ie Contemporary or not bother with room and stay value?? I really plan on spending 1 night 2 days in MK only?

We are doing a 3 night cruise the end of May and then hopping over the WDW for 5 nights. We are staying at the Contemporary MK View. Got some great advice here on it. Although, if you are only spending 1 night and are trying to keep to a budget, you might want to go with value or mods. If you are at the parks late that night it might not be worth it. HTH.
