Anyone know?
I've read the rave reviews re: Crocs but in my opinion - they look a little um...let's say....ugly? They must be very comfortable if so many people are willing to buy these. I guess I could wear them at WDW since I know I will not be the only one! I wouldn't mind checking out a pair - can someone tell me where to buy in Mississauga? Also, where can I find Tevas here? I called Tevas but they said you can only buy in Montreal? I read several people managing to find in Ontario. I am looking for a Tevas sandle not a running shoe.
Ideas where to find?
Thanks! :flower:

Crocs are ugly but darn it - I sucked it up and bought a pair and have worn them the whole time I've been walking here, and I gotta tell you - LOVE them, they saved my feet. The first night I was stupid and wore sandals and got ugly ugly blisters. I honestly think If I hadn't had my Crocs, I wouldn't have been able to tour the park the next day.

I got them at a private camping store here in NS - But SportChek has them I think.

I think they are under different names in Canada but yes I heard you can get them at SportCheck and some Payless Stores have the "Airwalk" version (moc-crocs) or a "Birk" version which is also very comfortable.
I've even seen them in Shoppers Drug Mart (without the back strap).

I bet Square One is a good bet to find something. Good Luck!

I just bought an amazing pair of Tevas today (super comfy, great support and look good too!!) I got them on sale at Coast Mountain Sports. Not sure if you have those stores in Ontario, but they are part of the Forzani's chain (i.e sport check, RnR,etc.) They were on sale too!

We went over to Buffalo for the night. I bought 2 pair of air walks(Crocs) from Payless, one pair was $14.99 the other $9.99. So far I have blisters from where they rub, however I'm sure they will get better. They are so lite weight! It's incredible the feel of them.

Oh, and we got nailed at Customs. We told them we bought $200 Canadian and we had to pay $20 in duty. It was all boys clothes for my little ones. We stayed at the Sleep Inn, not far from the Boulevard Mall. It was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great.

I saw Teva sandals today at Europe Bound on King Street West, just east of Spadina today. $79.99 was the cheapest pair.

If you go to TEVAS.COM they will deliver them to Canada. I bought a pair of flip flops in Buffalo and LOVE them. I ordered another pair online, and they arrive Monday :hyper: . I also got my sister a pair (who I have to wrestle mine off of :rotfl: )and our mom a pair. I got two pairs for 20 dollars each, and a pair for $25. They also look a lot better then the Crocs.

Some of the Payless in Canada still have a few Airwalk sandals - they have two straps across your toes so they don't seem any uglier to me that any other sandal of similar design.

I just got a pair yesterday (paid $12 Cdn) and liked them so much I went out this morning and bought another pair for me and a pair for my mom (they were down to $8 each).

I usually don't like sandals because (and this sounds gross) my feet sweat a lot and sandals usually rub and iritate my feet. And I don't like wearing socks because they seem to hold in the dampness.

I wore the airwalk sandals all day yesterday and my feet are fine - no rubbing, no iritation and the design and material actually seemed to let my feet breath and not sweat so much.

Oh, one other thing, normally I wear a size 8.5 but in the airwalks I only needed a 7 - my mom usually wears a 9 but the 8's are perfect on her.

Hi I am in Central Alberta and We have a stand in our Mall that sells croc and also saw the airwalks at payless. However my problem is I wear kids shoes as I have very small feet . I have not seen children sizes here. I found them online but don't I'd get them in time beofre our trip. The airwalks I found here look like flipflops so I am not sure how good they be if your on rides as they would fall off. I was wondering if any of you guys from Edmonton or Calgary have seen crocs in kids sizes in your stores. and if so where?

I bought my Teva sandals last year at 'The Shoe Company' - they are usually in the big-box type malls around in the 'burbs. They are the strappy Tevas with a kind-of pattern on the straps and lots of velcro. I really like them and wear them everywhere. I think they were $49. Good luck.

only problem with the Payless brand is my sister got blister from it... I had Crocs and she wanted one and bought the air walks.. so I guess am sticking to Crocs.. :confused3
