Fantasmic Dining Package worth it?

So i want to see Fantasmic, haven’t seen it in years, and I remember the theatre being huge. Is the dining package worth it to get a better seat?
How much “extra” do you pay above the regular menu for the dining package?

As with the water park, only you know what is 'worth it' to your family. You would need to look up prices on the website for meals and compare that to the price of the dining package and decide from there.

You will need to arrive at least 30 mins early even with the dining plan so that is something to keep in mind. Approx 25 mins before the show begins they open the dining package seating to all guests.

If you are ready to eat and have a drink you can break even on the cost of the package, or at least feel like you came close. If you otherwise would have dined a tier down, or not been interested in a drink and dessert, you may not feel like it was worth it.

You may remember the package seating being on the right-lower side. It is now in the middle and takes up much of it. I think this is because the new show is better viewed when not getting seated between the water "screens". We arrived 15 minutes before show time but still got seated in the center section, but almost all the way up. The theater was only 80-90% full that night so I'm sure it depends on the night. I don't recommend cutting it that close.

If you arrive early you will likely get a good seat with or without the package. I just depends on how early you prefer to arrive, how many shows that night, and if everyone is thinking the same thing you are.

If you want to see it and don't want to be lined up 2 hours prior to enter the theater 90 minutes prior to get your choice of seat then yes its worth it.

If there are 2 showings and you can stay for the 2nd; most likely not worth it.

My experience has been that it’s not worth it, but we’re a family of 5 so the dining package gets very pricey. Depending on time of year — we usually go in the summer — Fantasmic! Is frequently canceled or it ends early due to weather & then you’ve paid more than you normally would have for a meal with no benefit.
