mikkiwikki got your envie Thurday.
5estesfamily I have your envie ready to go in the morning.
Friday I saved:
$5.75 at Wal-Mart
the cashier was a little rude because one of the coupons wouldn't scan. She said this happens everytime someone uses more than one coupon in the transactions. I just smiled. She kept trying to get it to scan and then said "Are you sure you don't want to keep it for next time?" (insert eye roll and handing me the coupon back) I said, "No I'm sure it will work out. You know everytime I use more than one coupon per shopping trip, I save money."
I was not ugly or rude about it, just using my kind (sweetheart/darling voice) teacher voice. The lady behind me laughed out loud and said "AMEN Honey!! Sounds like the store's problem to me if the machine doesn't like coupons because the customers LOVE them.
She finally manually entered the code and it took. It was strange though, I only had 6 coupons for about $50 worth of items. It was also the first time in at least 5 years of regularly using coupons that I have ever had a sour cashier. Some are excited that you are saving and it will encourage you to come back, most are indifferent, one or two have been irritated with the machine if it would not take the coupon and have appologized to me for it not working or having to call a manager to get it to go through, but I've never had a cashier with such attitude. Lots of sighing and just a negative attitude.
Guess we will never see her as the cashier on Extreme Couponers, of coarse I'll never be the customer on their either. My house would not hold all that stuff, not to mention I don't have 8-12 hours a week to spend planning. I'm just happy to not be paying full price.
Have a great week all.
