Because of service issues on my last visit to DW, I received 2 complementary 1 day park hopper tickets. However, since my upcoming visit will be for a week, the 1 day tickets are not much use. Do you know if I could just upgrade these to 6 day base tickets (essentially getting about $100 off the cost of the 6 day ticket). Has anyone every does this with "free" tickets from Disney? What else would I do with 1 day tickets since I always go for many days (and the price difference between buying a 5 day and 6 day ticket is minimial)?

we had comped tix from a hurricane... we used them to supplement our ticket purchase (we purchased only a one day to be eligible for the dining plan and used our ten day no expiry tix combined w/our hurricane comp tix to make another vacation!)

you could buy four day tix for both of you, upgrade one of the two in your party and let the other person use up the comp'd tickets...

you could give them away...

you could invite a friend to join you for the weekend...

you could probably sell them on ebay...

oh, one other thought... you could buy no-hopper passes and use them on your hopping or water park day (which we also did)

OK, I'm shocked. I always knew not to buy tickets on e-bay (how do you know if they're still good), so I never though about selling these on e-bay. But the prices tickets sell for is amazing - right now, 2 1 day hoppers, expiring in June 2006, are up to $185 + $8 s/h,. Whoever is bidding isn't getting much of a deal (is taking a risk!) and the auction still isn't over. Thanks for the advice.

You would be best off using them as they are. You won't get $$ value for them toward a trade in because the amount WDW will credit toward a new purchase would be the amount you paid, essenially 0.00.

Your best value is to use them and buy the remainder of what you need or save them for a future trip since they don't expire. One money saving option is to purchase a one park per day ticket for the rest of the days and only park hop on the days you use the two free hoppers?
