I have one more update to post from those received yesterday. This one was sent to us by Susan (jecskc) last night.


Susan & family had breakfast with the Princesses yesterday at Epcot's...

Susan said, "I didn't eat all of these, just had a bite or two of each one. All were tasty, but the two standouts were the ligonberry muffin and the cherry danish. Both of those were amazing and I ate all of each one of those."





Then Susan said, "Here is a photo of the "all you care to enjoy" hot portion of the meal."

Susan said, "All of this was good. These were the best Disney eggs we have ever had. Perfectly cooked and very tasty. I really liked the sausage and DD enjoyed the bacon. The potato casserole was our favorite part. Character interaction was good and service was great. DH enjoyed this meal especially. He loves big breakfasts like this."






Then Susan & family had their Thanksgiving Dinner at Epcot's...

Susan said, "DH and I really enjoyed this. The tenderloin was our favorite. Perfectly cooked. Our waiter brought out chicken legs and macaroni and cheese for the kids which they really enjoyed. Our waiter provided wonderful service."



Susan added, "We left both of these meals stuffed and satisfied. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving. We hope everyone else had one as well." ​

Susan said, "It was warm and salty, just like you would want it to be."





Then for lunch they went to...

Susan said, "DH and I split a burger and the kids had Chicken nuggets and french fries. This was standard counter service fare."




"DD enjoyed the chocolate mousse."

Then for dinner last night they headed to the Grand Floridian Resort to dine at the...

Note from jabead: Found two different versions online of the sides/sauces served with the NY Strip. Not sure which is correct or maybe they might both be outdated???


Susan said, "I don't know what this was, but it wasn't anything close to any kind of New York Strip that I have had. This was thin and kinda fatty. The taste was OK and it was cooked OK, but it just wasn't great. It came with potatoes which were OK and some kind of greenery was on the plate. It looked like salad greens, but I can't imagine putting that under a warm steak. We had dessert and such which I will tell everyone about in my full report, but we ended up saying that we wouldn't make it back here again."




Susan added, "Our waitress was very brusque in that northeastern kind of way, but not unkind. She made mention of us being on the dining plan several times. We ordered drinks and wanted to save a few dollars on them by using our Tables in Wonderland card, but she told us we couldn't use it. Then she took forever to bring the bill back and eventually she charged our credit card $187 - PLUS deducted the dining credits. I am so glad DH noticed this. I am sure she didn't mean to do this intentionally, but we just thought there was NO WAY this meal was worth even half that amount."


In conclusion, Susan said, "We ate here last year and enjoyed our experience very much. I would say that something has happened to this place since last year because it had gone down hill quite a bit. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't up to the great Disney standards we all enjoy and the price tag was way over the quality of food and service."
