Went to London last weekend for a Saturday overnighter with a theatre trip to see Oliver (which was magnificent) in the Gielgud Theatre. Stayed in Leicester Square and ate at Happy (https://happyrestaurants.com/) - which was rather good. We weren't due to leave until early evening so had Sunday to do a few things.

We walked to our first stop which was Tottenham Court Road to visit here: https://www.monopolylifesized.com/ - If you like Monopoly you will love this and it is worth a visit - great fun and takes about 1 hour 15 mins to complete. Great bar/restaurant too. Excellent for families. Anyone else done this?

Next we caught the tube to Battersea Power Station (https://batterseapowerstation.co.uk/) - this is very impressive and the re-working of the building is quite something.

We completed our journey by the Thames Clipper back to Embankment.

Anyone else have any suggestions for things to do in London?

I used to live in London and I go back to visit every few years. I was there at the end of August after my Disney cruise.

Battersea Power Station was on my list but I didnt have time. I remember years ago the old building was just derelict and waste of space, so it great to see it being given a new lease of life.

I stayed at Ibis near Southwark Bridge / Borough Market. Its a Wicked themed hotel and really nice. I walked around Borough Market as I used to work in the area and it brought back lots of memories.

I love Leicester Square, its so touristy and crowded but I used to go there at random times, early mornings and in the winter when there were hardly any people there. I used to go to the cinema premieres if they were on my day off and I got lots of autographs. Its changed over the years, the park area used to be lovely at Christmas but Im not sure what its like now.
