I just spoke with Disney Dining and they told me that on Monday August 4 there will be an announcement on their website that you can book PS for almost all Disney dinings 90 days (not 60) days prior. YES, that does include CRT.
Exceptions are Victoria and Alberts (can be booked 180 days prior) and The Bistro in France and I think she said a meal w/an artist. Dinner show ps timeframes will stay the same.
So people who were planning on waiting to call for a PS for Cinderellas Royal Table-- you now can call 30 days before you were orignally going to call. Does this make sense to all?
Thanks Jesse, we are going Oct 30th to Nov 10th so this is vital to our planning. Just have to figure out what days to try for. Doing the MNSSHP on the 31st so the 1st is out. I also want to avoid EE, if I'm getting up and out that early it will be to go on the rides without lines. Guess I will have to give my DD- 6's friend's mom a call and let her know, they are going the same time, don't know if they are doing Cindy's breakfast, but if they are... Now I have to check on EE days and plan out my calendar, Thanks Again!!
I started calling at 6:55 and hitting redial- still on hold 9 mins later and feeling sick to my stomach!!! Been trying for 2 years to get in to CRT bfast. Just had to share my anxiety since everyone else in my house is asleep!!!
Yes! I have been holding for 13 minutes! I thought it would be easier today, but I guess I'm holding with all of the people calling for October as well as November! Good luck to all!
Kala don't hang up!! I am still on hold after 18 mins but trying to call on my cell phone the whole time and all circuits are busy!!! Good luck-will they ever pick up????
I posted this on another forum and didnt get a reply. Does anyone know who to make the check out to for the CRT deposit?? I got the address but in my excitement, forgot to ask that.
Anyone???
Oh, and pixie dust to those still holding, especially the person waiting for 2 years!!! It can happen, really!!!
You need to call exactly 60 days before you want the reservation. Start calling at 6:55 and keep hitting redial. It took me three days to get through before I could make a reservation during the last week of August. Keep trying and check that you are exactly 60 days before you want the reservation.
hobie - just so you know for future reference - it's now 90 days. Disney just changed their restaurant policy and all restaurants are 90 days out except for dinner shows.
I'm going to go try for any time in the last week in Oct. I hope I can get through!!!!!
Thanks for the info. This will be the first time after 12(?) trips in 8 years that we are doing the special character breakfasts. Hopefully we won't be disappointed. My 5 year-old has recently become a Disney Princess addict. She is just starting to get over her fear of the LIVE characters. Maybe we can actually get a picture of her to prove that she has actually been to WDW.
Just had to post - I got through to dining in less than 3 minutes and had my choice of dates and times for Cindy's!!!!!!!! I called around 1:45 EST on the toll free Disney Club number expecting a long wait and could not believe how fast I got through!!!! Just told 3yo DD we're eating at the Castle with Cindy!! She's very excited but of course she asked if we were leaving after her nap! LOL!
With the 90 day policy change I feel like I really got a lucky break getting into CRT! Last year it took three days of calling b/4 7:00 to get in!!
hobie - your DD will love eating in the castle with the princesses!! Our 3yo DD was a little shy last year at 2 with the "live" characters but she did pose with them and just loved the fact that we were eating in the castle. The princesses all gave her big kisses and she just loves looking back at her pictures with them all. This year she is even more into the princesses so I know it will be even more exciting!!! Have fun with your DD!
She is a bit shy around the characters. The only proof that she was with us in February was a picture of her with Aladin. When Jasmine was there she wouldn't go anywhere near either of them but the next day it was just Aladin and she didn't hesitate a bit to get her picture taken with him.
I think we are in trouble when she gets older. She is definately attracted to the "boys".
We also have reservations for the princess breakfast in Norway. They were much easier to get then with Cinderella.
Hey everyone, I have really enjoyed reading all of the posts on this thread and it made me so anxious and nervous for today to come...Anyways, it is our FIRST trip to WDW and of course the Cinderella's royal table breakfast. But I have a question about the seating and tables there in the castle. I know that it is not a very big restaurant, but are all the tables good, or are there one or two that are behind a pillar or back in a corner??
For example, at Disneyland a good character bf is Goofy's kitchen, but there are some tables that are less than desirable...on one table they were attempting to sit us in one of the chairs were wedged up against a pillar, where you not only couldn't see, but couldnt get in and out at all, and other booth like tables were enclosed off in a corner where you really couldn't see or watch the festivities (both times I requested a new table.) I just started getting really nervous, so will those of you that have been there please tell me how that seating situation is and if they are all out in the open and if there are any bad spots...thanks!
I slept in and called for CRT at about 8:50am today for Monday, Nov 3rd (90 days out) got a 9:25am ps, I think that is the same time we had in April, weird. I guess not enough people know about the 90 day change yet so the date was not full. This was the first day of six I was going to call for. Not a morning person so this change and knowing about it really worked out for me. Thanks again!!
I can't say that there are tables that are less than desirable, but there are ones by the window that give you a nice view.
Cindy's is pretty different than most character buffets I have been to. It is pretty subdued, and the princesses just walk around to each table a couple of times and take pictures with the young ones and talk to them.
The food is brought out to you on a plate - no buffet so you will not have to worry about that either.
