Yeah for getting the vacation days! Sounds like a much more relaxed set-up this way.

Yes, a lot less stress on the front end. With the drive being split over two days, I would have probably been going crazy trying to speed everyone up so we could get there on schedule. This way, we can get up at a decent time on Tuesday, make the drive and still get some stuff done that day. Then the next morning we will only be about a 1-2 mile drive from Kidani. I was worried about getting everyone going on time to make our Dinner ADR.....don't think that will be a problem now.

Yeah for your trip getting closer and adding an extra day!

We're starting to talk about taking a trip next year at the same time.

I'm going to enjoy following yours and Tim's TR reports since mine is at an end (I think you may have missed an update); I still have a final wrap up and a "hat" contest, but other than that it is done.

Thanks! It is starting to get close enough now that I can start to get excited about it! Still a lot to do between now and then, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I don't think it's a train!

I think you ought to have tried to use the word "posh" in your answer! For me, that is the quintessential British term...

Cheeky Monkey is basically a "Smart Alec!!!!" and i think we both fit that definition!!!I have usually heard and used it as a friendly expression !!I was kinda surprised at some of the definitions !!It was fun looking at the different British words with the American translation !!Let me tell you I raised a few eyebrows when I first came over here and hadn't yet mastered the subtle differences

Yes, I particularly loved the ones that would make Brits snicker at us, like our frequent use of "Pardon Me" and "Excuse Me!" Plus there are an inordinate amount of different terms for the same "things." Kinda tells you where the British minds are often centered I guess!

The funny thing to me was how many of the phrases/terms I saw that I have actually used before (learned from family) and with the same connotation. I guess there are many things that we as Americans have adopted from our ancestors. To me they would be considered "old English."

I still have a few ready to use at the appropriate time.

Yes Marv my Dis time has decreased with the holiday season I now have gifts to wrap shopping to do and LOTS of parties Between now and the 18th I have 5 to attend all work related Tomorrow is the Managers one and as I was home sick today and slept till 3pm I sent Judy out to finish up my exchange gift Still have to make sausage rolls that Carol kindly volunteered me to make But will do that at work tomorrow morning before the Party !!

I knew... This reminds of the quiz at the UK pavillion in Epcot. I think it was in the shop which is to the right of the tea cottage. There was a little black board which had all kind of terms which you had to translate from British English to American English (or the other way around?).

I didn't until now! I guess the British school system is a lot more progressive than our U.S. counterpart...
