I love the escalator at TTA too. I wish all escalator's were like it, lol. And I love that picture you took of the Astro Orbiter with the seagull flying in front! It's weird but I love finding odd surprises in photos. Can't wait for the next update.

Great update. This is the first time I have heard of the Golden Oak Outpost. Have never seen it in all the times I have been there, but then again I don't pay any mind to what's around me. Ugh now I can't wait to ride BTM when I'm there in two weeks.

It just feels like a more smoother way to get up than the regular escalator. There should be a law to insert those anywhere an escalator is used. :thumbsup2 Wow! I didn't even notice that until I saw this comment. Maybe that was the seagull that left a little present for Tina on her arm... Hmm... We might never know...:rotfl: Odd surprises in photos are funny, when you have the thought to find them ;) I'll update ASAP, I've been pretty busy this week so I'm a bit behind. I may do double updates this weekend (:

I don't think many know about it. It is basically hidden in the shadows of Splash Mountain. Definitely check it out next time you're heading for Frontierland or Splash Mountain. Its in the opposite direction towards Adventureland. :thumbsup2 BTMRR is a great ride! Very fun (:

I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I got busy with school for the past few weeks and haven't had any time on here. Final exams are coming up and my teachers are giving out so many projects. It is just crazy. I did end up though seeing Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides on premiere day and again for my birthday party (which was 20 days after my real birthday). I thought it was a decent movie, not hugely great, but it was good. I liked some of the new characters they added. I'm actually hoping for fifth after this one, it just ended that way. Alright, let's move on to the update---

CHAPTER 9: THE SEARCH FOR TOM MORROW AND SOME FRIENDLY FACES (Part 2)

Jocelyn's mom did make it in time. She traded off with Jocelyn's dad and we ran right into the FP line practically just in time for both of our FP times. We went through the line fairly quickly, it wasn't until we arrived at the loading zone and after the second CM checked our FPs that we got slowed down. When it was time to get ready to load, Jocelyn's brother and I sat up front, while everyone filed in behind and I really didn't pay attention. I love Splash and I've never sat anywhere but the front or in the front half of the log. It is just the best seat in the... log, house, I don't know lets move on.

I really don't have to explain the ride much, though there was a recent refurb that happened about a month before I went. Well, the first thing I noticed where they did have the lap bars now, not exactly a problem for me, but I still prefer them without. They also removed the handles you can hold onto, well used to hold onto, while on the ride with the installation of the lap bars. I also noticed there was a new drop... I'm not sure if it was just me, but they added another drop after the rollercoaster one. I may have missed it my first time, but I still don't recall that one being there. Oh well... I'll have to watch ride-throughs on YouTube to check.

When we got off the ride, we headed out of Frontierland and into Adventureland since it was close. Jocelyn's mom decided to take Jocelyn's baby brother somewhere else since she wasn't exactly sure if he'd like it, so the rest of us got in line. On the way to the line, we passed some of the CMs controlling the stroller area. They were using the pirate-ish/british accent used in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and using the same lingo. It was pretty funny, one of the guy CMs got really into it. We bypassed them and got in line for the ride.

The line for the ride was a bit longer than usual, usually it's a walk-on ride no line trouble, but this time it was different. They had a big crowd of people walking into the ride and the line was so big, they had to split it up into two lines. We had to make a decision and ended up going in what seemed to be the shorter line, but was much longer, we felt. Though we used our time wisely and just talked a lot, showing off our huge water bottles to Jocelyn's dad. I also took some pictures:

The ride was just as awesome as before except this time, because of the amount of people going on the ride, we got backed up on the ride all the way into the scene right wear "the foot" is. That is pretty far back and when we got there, after moving a bit, we ended up directly under "the foot". Jocelyn and Taylor were terrified and went crazy. Tina decided to take pictures then and didn't notice. Lindsay didn't know about "the foot" since she wasn't with us last night and was totally confused. Jocelyn's dad just played into "the foot" story and said "Imagine if it fell..." Jocelyn and Taylor were even more scared. It was pretty funny, until we moved out from under it.

The scene after "the foot" is the final scene with the jail cells and the dog with the key. Then, the new Jack Sparrow scene after that. We were backed up in there for awhile and during that time, I started getting splashed with water. Jocelyn was nearest to me and the water and she always liked to annoy me, so I turned to her and told her to stop. She was confused as to what and I told her to stop splashing me. She had that look that said "He is so frustrated, I'll just keep on doing it..." Though, it wasn't totally there, so I turned away, but then got continually splashed and turned back where this time she was confused. I was pretty annoyed when I got off the ride, but I brushed it off so I could enjoy the rest of the day.

Jocelyn's mom and brother were waiting for us outside the ride, so they could walk with us to Fantasyland, our next plan of attack. Jocelyn really wanted to go on It's A Small World for some reason. She was really pushing it to the point where she started singing the song. We luckily found our way behind the castle and to the ride. The line looked very long, but I've waited in the line for that long, so it wouldn't have been too bad.

Of course, I was wrong. The wait was definitely longer than the last time, but we still got on the ride and I seriously hate how the queue is for this ride. Why not flip the exit and the loading zone. I mean... it doesn't look right, the exit should be on the side not facing the majority of the queue and the loading zone towards the entrance. It makes complete sense, but I'm not a Disney Imagineer or President (yet) so I have no say. We got on the ride nonetheless but the wait was awful, especially with Taylor and Jocelyn fighting over who got to play with her little brother. He was thoroughly enjoying it though.

On the ride, I sat up front with Jocelyn and her brother, while everyone filed in behind us. Her brother was probably getting annoyed with Taylor since she was causing all the trouble and wanted to sit with me so that's what happened. It helps to be laid back and have the uncanny ability (nowadays) to stay out of drama. The ride was just as cute and magical as ever and I somehow am not annoyed with the song anymore. Jocelyn's brother also enjoyed it and sat through the whole thing well... until we got backed up in the final scene when he started getting anxious, but he's very cooperative and sat back down. We probably were stuck on the ride for an extra twenty minutes, but we were sitting so it wasn't a problem.

Once we got off the ride, we headed further down into Fantasyland, towards Tomorrowland. You could see all the constructing for the FLE here the best, which is when the thought came into my mind. There was one ride still in Fantasyland going to be totally shut down for the FLE. We were walking right by it and I knew I had to go on it, so I asked my group if we could go on it and after some persuasion, I got them to go on.

The wait was a bit longer than usual, but I'm guessing there were some people who knew about the closure of the ride, so it was probably going to be like this for awhile. It was a good thing for us, since it gave us time to decide who was going to sit where, since this ride gives less room to sit. We were hoping to be able to fit all nine of us into one, though that would mean 3 per row and 7 of us were probably going to have to squish already for 3. There was also fighting about who would sit with Jocelyn's little brother. Taylor was trying really hard to sit with him, but he picked Jocelyn and I once again. I could tell Jocelyn was getting angry with the fact Taylor was hogging her brother's attention, when it is HER BROTHER.

When it was time to load, we ended up somehow fitting everyone on ride vehicle, though I think it may have been Tina and Lindsay who had to be put in another ride vehicle, but I forget. Either way, I felt the ride wasn't as great as the first time I went on it. Maybe, it was the lighting, but the foreboding quality of the ride just wasn't so... foreboding. The first part with the-queen-change-to-hag still scared me, but it wasn't great. Jocelyn was quite angry with me bringing her on the ride and showed it, but I had to agree with her, but I told her it was closing soon so it was good taking one last ride. For me anyways (:

After this, we decided that it was a good time for a break. We found a little ice cream QS called... Storybook Treats. It was right next to the ride, so we stopped by there. Also, everyone was keen on getting the Fudge Brownie Sundae. I'm not a chocolate person so I got some soft serve swirl, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The only downside to my decision was Jocelyn and I no longer had the same amount of money left on our cards since she got the Sundae. We were upset since now we couldn't depend on each other for how much money we had left.

After this, we ended up going the long route back to Frontierland, not just turning around to go back to Liberty Square, but went across the Hub to Adventureland past Golden Oak Outpost into Frontierland. Jocelyn's mom was saying they'd wanted to see the Country Bear Jamboree since it was Jocelyn's grandma's favorite show. They didn't know where it was so I had to show them. We started heading down towards Liberty Square when we found the show. I wasn't looking to watch the show, so I was ready to turn and go, when everyone else wanted to see it. I tried to persuade some to not, but I was disregarded and decided to see it.

We, then went to find a spot for Jocelyn's baby brother's stroller, which was a scavenger hunt since people left very little room for them, but we soon found a spot and put it there. And once Jocelyn had put her stuff in the stroller, we headed on inside to the waiting area for the show.

I found this a little late compared to everyone else, but I'm excited to read everything. I'm in band and my school just announced that we're going to Disney and Universal next year during spring break so I'm hoping to learn from experiences. You're lucky you got to fly. We have to drive. From Illinois. That's two nights on a bus. We went to New Orleans this year and spent one night on the bus and I just about died so that's not going to be fun. Hopefully I'll get some ideas of how to go about the trip from your TR. From what I've read so far it's really good, so I'm excited! (:

Well I'm glad you found it and I hope you will enjoy it (: Oh that's awesome! After reading what I've written for this TR, school trips are very fun! It is great to see Disney through your friends' eyes or other kids your age. And lucky you for going to Universal too (though Disney is obviously better ;))! Oooo... that's gotta stink, well I had a lot of transportation switches and the waits in the airport... I could go on, in a nutshell it'll be a lot less hectic by just riding on a bus. :thumbsup2 Hope my TR helps with some ideas and I hope you enjoy the rest! :goodvibes

CHAPTER 9: THE SEARCH FOR TOM MORROW AND SOME FAMILIAR FACES (Part 3)

Now, when we got inside, we soon learned that the show didn't start until around 6 minutes from now, so we found a bench and sat down. While we sat down, I ended up getting into a conversation with Jocelyn's mom. I don't know why, but it just happened and I was just telling her about everything that was going on. I even showed her my still-sticky lanyard. We were interrupted by Jocelyn's baby brother who was getting pretty anxious running around. I took out my water bottle then and saw that I had drunk most of it. Wow!

Soon enough, the show opened up and we all crowded into the theater. Since, I saw this show before and took a ton of pictures on my phone, I was just going to enjoy it this time, but no, I still took pictures:

I had totally forgotten how much I loved this show and after seeing it again, my love was fully renewed. I can tell why its survived so long here. It has Disney Magic, Pure Fun and Happiness rolled into a great show! I just wish they would bring that Holiday show Disneyland had before they took there show off the grounds. That would really help bring it to the modern front.

After we saw the show, we then headed across the Magic Kingdom straight for none other than Tomorrowland. We'd been here a lot, but of course had to come back to finish it off proper. So, we first walked around a bit trying to decide what we should do. Jocelyn's mom and baby brother went to go get pictures with Chip & Dale in Space Gear, while the rest of us decided to go on Buzz Lightyear.

The wait was a bit longer than I remembered, but we still went on. I ended up sitting with Jocelyn, who was keen on beating me after I beat her on TSM. We were delayed a bit more when, right before we got on the ride it broke down for like 10 minutes. We had to wait awhile, but soon got on, where the ride proceeded to break down constantly. And the worst part was Jocelyn got the highest score possible on the ride less than halfway through. I thought that was pretty fish and I was pretty sure her shooter was broken.

Here is a picture of us on the ride:

275.jpg

After the ride, we looked around for Jocelyn's mom and brother and found them right in front of the PeopleMover. They said Chip & Dale ended up leaving before they got in line so they'd been waiting for us for awhile. We then decided, since we were near it, to ride the TTA again. We all rushed on and took up a whole train of carts on the ride. I took a ton of pictures this time:

When we got off the ride, Jocelyn, Taylor, Jocelyn's dad, Jocelyn's brother and I wanted to go on Space Mountain again. Tina wasn't a fan of the ride and Jocelyn's mom had to take care of her baby brother, so it was just us. We went over to the other side of Tomorrowland and grabbed some Fastpasses. We saw we had a while before it was time to use them, so while Jocelyn's mom went looking for more characters with Jocelyn's baby brother, everyone wanted to go on Stitch's Great Escape.

I've heard many bad things about that ride and I didn't like the fact most of it was in darkness, so I tried to move away and get someone to go on the Carousel of Progress with me, a ride I had really wanted to try since after my last trip. Jocelyn tried to persuade me to go, since everyone else was, but I told them what SGE was and Tina immediately backed out. So, we ended up going to the Carousel of Progress while they enjoyed their ride.

Tina and I leisurely walked over while we talked. I asked her how she liked Disney since this was her first trip and being an "experienced" Diser, I wanted to ask. She said she was enjoying it, but wasn't too keen on some things (like ToT and Space Mountain), but all-in-all she liked it. We got into some of the stories that happened throughout the earlier half of this trip as well. It was then, we saw they were about to load for another ride, so we ran up through the queue and ran up. We were at the back of the group and got right on the ride. We did sit away from everyone else though and enjoyed the ride on our own.

We both enjoyed the ride a lot, though "There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" was like "It's A Small World" on steroids, it was great fun! It wasn't until the last scene in the ride, Jocelyn started sending me frantic texts about our FP time and how they were ready to go on and there was nobody there. I tried to calm her down, but she kept on texting me and soon enough, I was off the ride and heading straight towards Space Mountain.

I made it right as our FPs started working. Jocelyn's mom was nowhere in sight, so we gave our bags to Tina (Poor Tina :() And went into the FP lane queue. I thought by going on with our FPs, we would be able to go on the Omega side of Space Mountain, instead of Alpha, but, of course, I was wrong and we ended up on Alpha again. It was an awesome ride no doubt about it, but I would like to go on the side where everything was basically the same, but in opposite direction, which would've been pretty cool.

After we got off, we found out Jocelyn's mom and baby brother were now going to go on the Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor show. They were already in line and were waiting for us. I thought it would be a fairly interesting show, so I actually went along with the group instead of arguing this time. GO ME! (: It was then I would soon discover that this would be my final Magic Kingdom fling...

CHAPTER 10: FAREWELLS, THE CALLING OF THE MONORAIL AND THE MOST ANNOYING PHONE CALLS! coming soon!

The Country Bear Jamboree looks really cool. I've never seen it before, for some reason I always think the shows are really lame but I end up loving them! :laughing:Maybe I'll try that one out next time I go. And that shot of the Toontown tents makes me so sad, I still can't believe they had to get rid of it:sad2:

I know... I'm really sad and angry with myself about Toontown closing since I never got to go and it was open when I was last there. :( I'll just make sure to venture into the new Fantasyland when its open, not missing it AT ALL :thumbsup2

You should definitely see it! It is a great show. It is basically an animatronic concert, very much like the original Enchanted Tiki Room, where they sing various songs and such. There is also commentary in between and I just love the feel and that magical quality it possesses. I'll say it again: Go see it! :goodvibes Haha

YAY! NEW READER! :cool1:

I'm glad you are enjoying it so far. I hope my earlier extremely long chapters won't turn you off too much... but it seems you like that. Can't wait to hear what you think as you read more! :thumbsup2

CHORUS LIFE OUTSIDE OF DISNEY (AND SOME OTHER STUFF)

Since Chorus was a pretty big part of how this trip came to be, I thought I would let you all in on what's happening in the world of my Chorus.

So, last night, I recently had my last performance with the Seniors since they were graduating. It was pretty epic! It legit was. The band usually outshines us at our concerts, but at graduation, we just totally owned them. When, we performed the Glee version of "Lean on Me", we rocked it out and the soloists were fantastic! (: The crowd even started clapping to the beat. It was just that great. I didn't take any pictures since it wasn't mine or a relative's graduation, but I have many Senior friends and I'm definitely going to miss them :'(

Also, in the upcoming week, I have a little chorus project where I have to sing a song from a Broadway musical. I originally was going to sing "Lay All Your Love On Me" from Mamma Mia! (ABBA), but I soon got the whole song and found out it wasn't really a solo, so I switched. I'm now singing "Be Prepared" from.... wait for it... The Lion King! It is going to pretty cool. I just need to find an instrumental version of the song :thumbsup2

Now, before this all, I had a Music Awards Banquet, which is like a Sports Banquet but for Band & Chorus. They give out all those plaques on the walls, along with the music cords for graduating seniors, participation awards and the such. Well... along with this, they give out awards to each grade for Outstanding Band Student and then Outstanding Choir Student. There are two for each given out per grade and guess who won for the Freshman? ... ME!! Yes, I won! I was quite surprised, but it was pretty awesome since I won with a friend I've become quite close with this year, Trysten, who was on this trip. Here is a picture of her on our performance day in Disney at World of Disney:

When we found out, we got the awards for that, she got wicked excited and basically choked me, while hugging me. It was a cute moment, my mom said. Here is the medal I received for the award:

002-1.jpg

I also have some other big news. As you can see in my siggy, there is a countdown for another trip... my 16th Birthday! I've had it there for awhile, when I was trying to persuade my mom to see if I could do it and it was iffy. Then, she began talking to the lady who lent us some DVC points for our first trip and really started getting into the whole thing. Then, I mentioned it to my friends and were all for it, one even said he would definitely pay for his half of the trip. So, it seems it's actually coming together :hyper: I'm very excited! So... that is just a little teaser for my to-be PTR (:

I also have been working on drawing Disney Characters free-hand and wanted to show everyone. They look really good:

Well, that's it for another one of my real life updates. I'll be updating the trip part of the TR soon! Only a day and a third to go (I think) :')

YEAH for a ticker!!! How fun to go for your 16th birthday. Still hoping I can go for my birthday some day...haha

Your drawings are great! I especially like the Pluto one. Awesome job! :thumbsup2

I'm so excited! (: Hopefully I can get the trip to be longer than the 4 days I'm reaching for :thumbsup2 And based on being with others going on trips during their birthdays, definitely do it. The Birthday button makes things very interesting. LOL

Thanks Sarah! (: I think I just have this weird knack for drawing Pluto. Even before I started really trying to draw free-hand, I drew a really good Pluto, but this is my best by far. :goodvibes

Congrats on the choir award!:thumbsup2I'm in chorus too and i would love to sing "be prepared".Hope you do great!:)

Thanks! And I sang it on Monday and people said I did really good so I'm glad I did the song justice :teeth:

I must warn you there are no pictures in this chapter. I'm sorry, but during this time I had to concentrate on a lot of things other than my camera (or I'm just a bad DISer ):). I'll try to make it quick as possible, but I can guarantee you this is one interesting chapter.

CHAPTER 10: FAREWELLS, THE CALLING OF THE MONORAIL AND THE MOST ANNOYING PHONE CALLS!

After we got off Space Mountain, we found where Tina was and got all our bags then headed on over to the Laugh Floor. Jocelyn's mom and her baby brother were already in line and they were near the back, so we just hopped right behind them, another big group of people following right behind us.

We moved through the main queue and into the pre-show area fairly quickly, but we waited for the pre-show for a bit. We saw you could send in our own jokes for the show, so Lindsay decided to text one right before they let us into the show. We did get it sent, but we'd just have to wait and see if it was selected for this show.

Well... it wasn't, but the show was great anyway! I think it's one of my new favorite shows. It also could've been how the show went along for me, too. Firstly, there was the guy they picked for Sulley, who was sitting right behind me, and you could tell he really didn't want to be picked. It was especially obvious, when they asked him to make a scary face. Then, they picked this baby boy to play Mike Wazowski and when they said "With one eye", the dad covered one of his eyes. The dad was also "That guy!". Oh, it was just classic fun(ny)! I say to definitely check it out, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

After we got off the ride, we checked the clock and saw it was getting into the near-night hours, so we decided this would be a good time to go. There was also the time where Jocelyn and Lindsay had to check out, since they both had family in Florida. We told Jocelyn's parents, who walked with us back to Main Street. They decided to go get something to eat, so we said our goodbyes to them and to Magic Kingdom. :(

By the time, we got out of the park, we discovered we had a few hours until Jocelyn and Lindsay had to go. Lindsay and Taylor still wanted to go back to ASMu, but Jocelyn, Tina and I were still hoping to do at least one more park or something else. After saying goodbye to Lindsay and Taylor, we discussed what our next move and decided we wanted to go to Animal Kingdom. Now, this is where things got a bit crazy...

We went up to the list of bus stops and found the AK bus. We were on the bus for a bit then stopped at the Polynesian. Everyone who was on the bus got off that stop. The bus driver even stepped off for a bit. Then, when he came back on, he told us that Animal Kingdom was closing at that moment, so we got off at the Polynesian. We decided to go inside and were about to go get something to eat at Captain Cook's when we decided to get to the Contemporary to walk back to the Magic Kingdom. So, we ran around the Great Ceremonial House trying to find our way to the monorail (Don't worry we did and the resort is beautiful!) So, we got on the monorail and got off at the Contemporary. There, we got off and went out to the bus stop, but of course, decided otherwise and ran back inside the Contemporary and got on the monorail. We, then went all the way around to the Poly and the Grand Floridian as well, which sadly was the only monorail resort we never went inside ): Then, got off at Magic Kingdom. So, yeah, we got lost on the monorail AGAIN!

When we got off the Monorail at MK, we then decided to get on a bus to All Star Music. The bus took awhile to get to our resort since MK is so far away, but there was still time before Jocelyn had to leave. When we got to the resort we decided to go inside to eat at Intermission Food Court. I didn’t have a ton of money on my dining card so I just got… a hot dog? Haha I even forgot what I ordered (Being a bad DISer again), but I know it wasn’t a lot. There were French fries that came with it though :thumbsup2 Jocelyn texted Taylor asking where they were and, hearing that we were down at the food court, they came to find us. They didn’t stay and chat for long since it was now only 2 hours until Jocelyn and Lindsay had to leave. Lindsay and Taylor decided to go take a bus to MK to make the time go by. After we finished, I remembered Fantasmic was showing tonight and Nate was at DHS today, so I thought I could meet him there, if he still was there and see the show, then let Jocelyn and Tina go back since Tina was obviously tired and Jocelyn had to pack before her dad picked her up. Then, Jocelyn suggested that her dad pick me up when Jocelyn got picked up and we could go see it then, but I discovered it would be too late. She also suggested EMH at MK, but I still had to see Fantasmic.

Once we all had finished eating, we headed out to the buses to find Taylor and Lindsay still sitting there. MK was the resort farthest from our resort, so it would probably take the bus awhile to get over here. Jocelyn, Tina and I got into the Hollywood Studios beside them. We waited about 5 minutes, when the MK bus finally arrived and then another two or three minutes, when we were finally on the bus to DHS. There were some other students from my high school on the bus with us as well, all going to Fantasmic. Jocelyn talked with them and I texted Nate to see if he was at Hollywood Studios, but he wouldn't answer his phone.

We got to the park in very little time, went through the gates and walked towards Sunset Boulevard, in case Nate got my text and figured out where to meet me. It was then, he called me, but I never got to the phone in time. The line for Fantasmic was already way down Sunset Boulevard, almost time for the show. I called Nate back and he said "Can't talk right now, bye!" or something along those lines. It was a bit strange. I called him again and he answered in the same manner. I was really confused and told Jocelyn to call him. Nate didn't answer his phone, so she called Rishi, whom Nate said he was with and got the same answer as I did. Then, Nate called back and gave the "Can't talk right now!" answer again. I was getting really angry. I called one last time on Jocelyn's phone and tried to get him to reason, but it was to no avail. Jocelyn and I were so confused by this and just stopped answering their calls.

We guessed, even if they were in Hollywood Studios, we would never be able to get a connection with them, so we headed back to the resort, my plans of seeing Fantasmic... foiled ): I know this sounds really self-centered, I was mad at Nate. I mean, really? Call you saying you can't talk right now. Sheesh! Well, I won't go into too much about that, but I was mad at this moment. Jocelyn, Tina and I, left the park and went to our bus-stop. Our bus was right there when we got to the stop, so we hopped right on. I'm guessing because it was a Fantasmic night at DHS that that was the reason why nobody was on the bus, so it was a nice ride back to ASM.

My phone vibrated a few times in my pocket, but I ignored it, knowing well who it was. I was about to answer it since I don't like to be angry with people and this was sort of a stupid reason. But, without the whole situation with wanting to see Fantasmic, what was the joke in just calling someone and saying "Sorry can't answer the phone right now"? Even Jocelyn was angry.... Alright I'll just stop there.

So, as we got onto the main highway, Jocelyn got a call on her phone and guess who it was?

Nate.

CHAPTER 11: WHAT WE CALL THE NIGHT LIFE coming soon!

CHAPTER 11: WHAT WE CALL THE NIGHT LIFE

I told her not to answer, but she, of course, disregarded me and answered. When she answered almost immediately, she turned to me asking me to take the phone. I shook my head and turned away to signal I wasn't going to answer it. She told him I wouldn't answer and there was a lot of trying-to-reason-with-Timmy right there, but it was to no avail on Nate's part. They said goodbye and hung up.

Jocelyn told me he was sorry about the annoying phone calls and said it was because they were playing a game. She didn't know much past that, but she said it was just really stupid and he was really sorry about it all and he wasn't at DHS. I don't know why, but I was acting really conceited since I missed Fantasmic because of the phone calls and was angry? I still don't get me even now. If he was at Studios, it would make for a much different story. After that talk, the bus ride was all in silence.

When we got back, it was almost time for Jocelyn to go, so I had to make a decision as whether to go with them to EMH at MK or try to make Fantasmic. When we got off the bus, we immediately ran into... Guess who?

Nate.

Along with Rishi, of course. They were just coming out for a bus ride to Downtown Disney it looked like. I stood back to let Jocelyn talk, but then I stepped forward and we talked it all out. So, they were playing a game and it was one of those scavenger hunt games at Disney that they held. I'd never heard of them before, but it sounded legit, because they did win a few things. Most of it was trivia, but when they were getting texts and calls from me they had to tell me to stop and it turned out that Rishi was the one who made all the calls, not Nate, so the communication was even wrong. I forgave them and asked where they were going. They said Downtown Disney and I was excited since we rarely got time down there yesterday and I still wanted to pin trade. I asked if I could join and told Jocelyn that I'll just be going with them. We all said our goodbyes to Jocelyn as she went to get packed and we got in line for the bus to DTD.

We talked for a bit and I asked them how their day went. They told me that they had gotten a lot done with just the two of them. They didn't get to do a lot and still never got the chance to go back to Magic Kingdom, but they were still satisfied, though they did regret not going. When the bus finally came, we got on with only a few other people. I actually ended up finishing my water while getting on the bus, though the bus driver came up to me and told me to put it away. Ooops! :guilty:

The bus ride was basically all talk. Nate, Rishi and I talked the whole there and loudly may I add. One time, they told me how they desperately needed me during the trivia, when one of the questions was about naming all the Disney Princes and they couldn't do it. I was horrified when they named some princes from other animation company movies. Then, this guy chimed in about how Princes have to marry a Princess to become Disney property, or was it the other way around? I forget, but I remember that.

The bus first stopped at Pleasure Island to let people off there since that still hadn't been pulled off the map completely yet and then we went all the way around to be dropped off at the Marketplace, the entrance to DTD :goodvibes I took this moment of mellowness to take out my camera and thus, I began snapping some pictures:

I joke about this second picture, because I was taking it to get a better picture of the brooms from Fantasia and I yelled out "You got in my shot!" And Nate turned around "You tried to kill us!" Then Rishi turned around and they went crazy! It was annoying at first, but then it got funny so I went with it.

We continued on down, I pushing them past things I knew we couldn't really do, saying we could go back later. Our first stop, I was disregarded to go here AGAIN, was the lego store, well the temporary one. I'm not a huge Lego fan. When I was younger and sorta played with Legos, usually it turned out where I wouldn't be able to finish and someone else would finish my Lego creation. I definitely wasn't interested now, btu I went in to check the place out. And look, who I found:

290.jpg

Woody totally made up for the 15 minutes I lost just wandering through the Lego store, surely not going to buy anything and we never actually did. I think Nate got a keychain, but that was about it.

We headed further down when I saw the Pin Trading store once again. I really wanted to go there, as did Nate, but Nate was mediator and said we would go in when we came back since it was edging closer and closer to the time we had to get back by or the time it would take from here to get to ASMu by that time. I'm pretty sure that sentence made no sense, but I think you get the picture Haha There was also the fact that Rishi never got a chance to enjoy DTD because the band never had the time earlier that day.

We then found ourselves in Ghirardelli once again. I think we just circled the chocolate shop area of the store a few times so we could get as many free samples as we liked. The lady knew our little motive and even let us have two at certain times. After enjoying the deliciousness known as chocolate, one bar still in our hands, we headed towards World of Disney, which we could not miss.

We went in the Stitch entrance like usual and really went into shopping mode. I had to get one shirt from this trip, since I've kinda made up a tradition in my mind to get a shirt from each of my trips. I also had to get one with the year I went since that's what I got on my first trip. If I found it I would now have 2010 and 2011. And it ended up that I did find it, it didn't take a ton of time, but I found it. It was actually in the main section and was one of the lower-priced shirts. It was really nice. I didn't take a picture then, but here is a nice picture of the shirt:

I assure you I bought the gray one.

I think the positions of the characters varied, but still, it was a great tee. Nate was about to buy it too, but he found another one so that we didn't have matching ones (WEIRD!). His was really cool too:

After getting those, I then brought us to the pins section so we could look for more pins. Rishi was a bit... I don't know, indecisive when we walked him over. He heard us talking about the pin trading system a lot and was thinking about whether he should do it or not and what he should buy. Nate and I immediately jumped at the chance. We helped him look for a lanyard and a starter set or a starter set that came with the lanyard to get him on his pin trading journey. He was still indecisive and we kept on pointing out different kits to him, but he couldn't pick. In the end, he ended up getting a separate lanyard with 4 pins that had one of the big five representing a park. Nate ended up getting a mystery set to trade, too, in the time that we waited. We then went up to the same register as always to buy our stuff. The ladies who work them seem to always be nice over there, so we got to chat, Nate even tried to trade. :goodvibes After getting all our stuff bought, we continued down to the other end of Downtown Disney.

We had mostly been in the Marketplace when we were there so I tried to push them to travel down further, so we did. It seemed very quiet on the other end, but still there were people. We got as far as T-Rex and went inside. Nate wanted to do Build-A-T-Rex with the money he had left (he used up the rest on the T-Shirt) so we went inside to go check that out. I, of course had to take a picture of the huge T-Rex smack right in the middle of the place. I take awhile to take pictures so I'm sure I was a roadblock Hahaha

291.jpg

So, we went inside Build-a-T Rex and looked around. It took us awhile, but we finally found the price and, I totally not shocked, that it was $20! That seemed a lot for just a stuffed animal you may not ever touch again after a week of adoring it. So, it was pointless and we turned around and left. I took another picture because the place looked SO COOL:

We tried to go further down, but found really nothing, so we just went on our merry way, back to the marketplace. When we started going back, Nate started rushing us. He told me he got a text from Mat, another friend of ours (well he's a friend and brother to one of my best friends), who said he bought a ton of Pizza with the money left on people's cards and he wanted us to come back and eat it. Nate freaked out thinking we weren't getting any Pizza, so he wanted to get out of their quickly. I practically ignored him after and saw my favorite Disney princess (Yes I have a favorite. Guys can have a favorite right?), well the "sculpture"esque version at DTD and had to take a picture.

Nate didn't understand I just wanted her so he jumped into the shot. He got a bit creative:

I gotta give him an explanation of a DISer and the random things we take pictures of WITHOUT human beings involved. :rollseyes

We moved on very quickly after that, though we did end up stopping at Ghirardelli again, but we didn't do our twenty lap thing again, just three times and left with a ton of chocolate. I think that got us on a sugar high. We then ran smack into the Pin Trading store again. All of us wanted to check it out now, so we went in and looked around. Rishi already opened his new pin set, so Nate got him set up and we searched all throughout the store. Nate and Rishi went trading while I searched for the Villains pin collection I'd really wanted to buy, but couldn't find it everywhere, though it was EVERYWHERE at the beginning of the trip. Ugghhh.. this still bothers me now.

In the end, I bought a plain Sorcerer Mickey pin, because he is just that great. Rishi traded a few times, and I think Nate traded a few as well. He got one of the puffles, which was really cool and I was now keen on trading my yucky pin for one of those. I forget what Rishi got through trades, but he enjoyed it and so we travelled through the rest of the Marketplace trading wherever we could. By the end, I think Rishi had 5 or 6 pins and Nate had 10 or 12, just one more than me ): It was all in good fun.

Before we left, we looked in at Goofy's Candy Company in the dessert making area, as well as the T-shirt making place, but that was just all for fun and we made our way out.

There was a huge line already forming for the All Stars, so we immediately got in line, not knowing how many people would slowly glide in behind us. The bus started loading right after we got in line. We luckily ended up with seats, well... Rishi and I. Nate ended up standing. The bus was packed of course and the bus driver, the same one who told me to put my water away, was screaming at everyone to move back. She wasn't exactly a nice lady, though she did manage to get everyone on the bus, especially since it was going to be the last bus for awhile.

The bus ride back was uneventful, well compared to other bus rides. Nate just kept telling us that the Pizza was going quick and how Mat was begging them to get there. I wasn't exactly in the mood for Pizza and would've rather stayed in DTD, but I was out-voted. Our resort was the last stop at the All Stars, so it was pretty empty at our stop and Nate got to sit awhile.

As soon as we got off the bus, we immediately ran towards the pool and we did run. Nate still hasn't learned the fact that running in any form is dangerous, especially with many people. Rishi and I somehow kept up and found Mat with a few other chorus girls at the pool enjoying the Pizza. They were pleading for us to eat it, so we indulged ourselves, just as Mat asked for more money to buy more Pizza. The girls were on him telling him they didn't need any more, but apparently he did, but I didn't give mine up and enjoyed my Pizza.

Nate, Rishi and I headed back to the room to put on our swim suits to go to the pool. I ended up being the first changed at the room so I went out to the pool first. I decided to go on my own, since they were taking awhile and I wanted some pool time. I walked around the Piano pool and headed straight for the Guitar pool. I texted Jocelyn to see how she was doing and as I went down the long pathway to the Guitar pool, I ran into a group of... I'm guessing it was another cheerleading group there. One of the girls ran up to me and asked me to switch shirts for a scavenger hunt. I was taken aback and knew this wasn't anything good, so I came up with the most insane and stupid lie to say "Well, I've gotta go see someone," yeah it was stupid and they bought it! Well, I should use it more often.

I got down to the pool in one piece. I didn't stay for too long, I actually never even went into the water. I just ate some more pizza and talked with the girls from chorus, who were sort of my acquaintances not just girls from chorus, but I think I've confused enough with names at this point and they weren't entirely important as individuals. Mat had left (and I'm not spelling his name wrong by the way) and Nate and Rishi took forever to show up, so I ended up going back down to our room. They were just about to leave, but when I came back and told them about the cheerleaders incident, they decided to stay and pack. Big Nate was still out, but he stopped by a few times while we got ready for the craziness of going home the next day.

Dr. Jim also came by fairly earlier telling us about how tomorrow was going to go. He said, we'd have to be ready by 8 to have our bags checked or to get our tags for them. He also passed back our bus tickets for the Magical Express and checked if we got the Magical Express envelope on our door, which we did. Then, he left. We continued packing for awhile and didn't really do much after. Big Nate got back and took the first shower. I followed suit, and after brushing my teeth, went right off to bed in my little corner on the last night in Disney. Disney depression was slowly going to slink its way into my mind soon.
