++Cheerleaders! Blisters! Oversized Water Bottles! ...It Must Be Disney++ Feb 2011 TR

Great update, leaving is just so depressing though :( I always go picture crazy when I leave too! It's like I want to take as many pictures as I possibly can to remember everything and keep the trip going a few more minutes lol.

Yay for getting extra leg room seats! I wish I was as lucky as you when I fly, because I'm pretty tall and am usually really cramped on airplanes.
And I'm not fond of that annoying white stuff either:laughing:, especially coming home to it after warm Disney weather! Glad they're still some updates left!

The last day is always sad:sad1:.When i leave i go pin trading crazy and alittle picture crazy too.I always end up with at least two really bizarre pictures like a tree from my resort or maybe a drink i got on the last day :confused3,its really weird actually:rotfl2:.Great update!:thumbsup2

Totally. I don't know why I ended up taking so many pictures when I left. On my last trip, there were zero pictures of our departure, but for this trip... I guess things changed. It may be because I was behind the camera. And I'm so glad I got some last minute pictures like more of ASMu.

So glad I got them going back and coming to. I'm fairly tall for my age (5'8" give or take an inch), so I was happy to have those seats and I find the craziest possible way to be uncomfortable. I mean, I'll move at least 3 times throughout the time I'm sitting. I can never be comfortale :sad2:

And yeah, snow... no longer my favorite thing in the world ;) The reason why I like going to Disney in SPRING Hehehe

I'll be updating ASAP! :goodvibes

I know right. Even with future trips being planned, it's never a happy occasion :sad2:

I think the Pin Trading craze was just so last minute since I was building up my collection this trip and got more than I bargained for so I traded a ton those last few hours. :teeth:

I think the reason I went picture crazy was probably because I wasn't occupied with directing amateurs (well one of them has been more than me...) around the parks, so I got my chance. Though, I think I'll be doing the exact same thing on my next trips :thumbsup2 LOL @ the random pics, though I think a drink you got on the last day is completely normal :)

Oh and thanks, I'll be updating ASAP! (:

Awesome update Timmy :thumbsup2
it sounds like you had an amazing time... it must have been fun to go to Disney with a bunch of your friends (:
Also, I loveeee all of your pins :goodvibes
I cant wait to read more.. if there is more to read that is.

Thanks Amy! (:

It was an awesome time. I love now that I have seen both perspectives Disney with Friends vs. Disney with Family. Now, I just need Disney solo Hehehehe

Thanks Amy! I'm probably not going to trade any of them because I like them s much LOL

Oh yes, there is more to read. Stay tuned! :thumbsup2

Great update!

Leaving is never easy but I am glad to see you made the most out of your extra time in Orlando. And it is even more awesome that you are going back soon!

I also wanted to say congratulations on your medal and on you free hand drawing. Great job.

Q

PS. "Be pared" is one of my favorite Disney songs. ;)

Oh it never is. I'm glad that I made the most of it and I still have another trip to look forward to. Lessens the depression left by the last :sad1:

Oh, thanks! I'm still shocked that I got that medal. The worst part is... I'm not doing chorus again next year... but nobody in my chorus class this year is doing it either so... I don't feel too bad. :/

You mean "Be Prepared"? Sorry just checking, I make typos all the time. <3 that song! Another reason why Elton John has mad skillz :cool2:

TONS OF FUN IN THE SUMMER SUN!- A DAY AT THE WATER PARK!

I thought before I give the final wrap-up on this TR I'd give you a little glimpse into my vacation this summer. So, because of plans for some big trips in the coming year, we decided not to make big plans for this summer. Also, between my sisters and I we took a lot of funny with some activities I did in school, so we were just trying to save for something big. I got another Disney trip, so I was pretty satisfied, but I'll move on from this and to what we did this summer.

We've been staying pretty close to home, but went all out when my mom bought some discounted season passes (wishing they were APs :() to this waterpark near us called Water Country. So far, we've only been twice, but we're going again tomorrow and probably the following week since it’s the only week my dad has off from work and he hasn’t been yet. Or we may do something else so stay tuned for that (:

Now, the first time we went to Water Country, my sister (also known as DOS on my other TR) had invited one friend, my friends all couldn’t come, so it was just her. We didn’t bring a camera that day so we sadly have no pictures  But seriously, there wasn’t a great deal we did that day, but it was still fun nonetheless. Though the second time, I had three friends come, all of which you may remember from this TR: Jocelyn, Nate and Trever. Jocelyn was really the only friend of mine in the group I travelled with in Disney. She’s probably the most notable of the three. Nate was one of my roommates at ASMu, you know the little guy? Yep that’s him. He didn’t really show up too much in the heart of this report, but at the beginning and end, lots of Nate. Trever was the only one who I wouldn’t be surprised if you forgot him. He only showed up for a minimal amount of time, during the day I performed in DTD when I went shopping. His brother was in the chorus with me. He’s a huge fan of Phineas and Ferb, might I add. My sister (DOS) had only one friend again and then, my mom and DYS of course. It was a pretty decent-sized group. Well, I’ll just stop with the introductions and move to the pictures (I have a video, but seriously, it is the most unflattering video for me and probably Nate, you have no idea, so I won't post it, sorry):

APOO!

^I would totally explain that, but it's just the brainchild of my sister's crazed, random mind, so just leave it at that.

As said before, it was a very fun and productive day. After this day, I've gone on every single ride in this park, including all the kiddie stuff. CHYEAH! I'm pretty proud of that. I also got to have Fried Dough and Dippin' Dotz, always a plus. If I haven't yet done it in Disney, I'm satisfied with here Hahahaha

*~*~*

So this is one of two or three, depending of some real life updates I'm formulating for you. Then, I'll have one big wrap-up update for everyone. Stay tuned! :mickeyjum

ON THE WATERFRONT- THREE DAYS ON THE LAKE

So this was a bit more recent than the last update. It was actually the week after the Fourth of July. My friend, Trever, who was briefly featured in this report, and Mat, his brother who was also featured, have parents who own a lake house. They usually invite us every year, and this time they invited us prior to their July 4th extravaganza. It was pretty quiet, just Trever and his mom. Mat was actually in Florida, at school, not Orlando, Daytona, but close enough hahaha So, it was fairly calm.

This was a bit different from the last few times we've been. I've been to this place from when it was still being built and such to the midst of their special weekends they have. We also usually have everything planned out, but this time, it just was wake up-> have breakfast-> play on the lake -> take a break (lunch -> have dinner -> something different -> relax -> go to bed. Nothing very interesting, though one night, my friend had a little tussle with a spider that crawled onto his face. It was a bit unnerving waking up to a piece of the couch flipped over and no Trever. O_o Still I had fun, as I usually do. It was also a great way to break from swim team (My sisters and I are all on swim team, btw) So here is a quick summary of our week in pictures:

I would give you details on what happened as a mini-TR, but seriously it was a big monotony. It just was the same. There also were points where I ended up on my laptop because Trever didn't want to do anything. Though, my mom, Trever's mom and my sisters all went to the longest candy counter in the world (I'm not sure if it is anymore :confused3), Chutter's. It was right down the street from the lake house. I didn't go because Trever didn't go, but I got a lot of candy. There were a few little things here and there, but you got the jist with the pictures.

It wasn't like past trips as I said many times before, but that's what made it fun :goodvibes

*~*~*

So I've decided to add in one more real-life update and then we'll have the final wrap-up. As a teaser to the real-life update I'll give you a hint... it involves ducks. That's a big hint right there and you'll see why when I post it. Stay tuned!

Wow what a beautiful lake house! And such a pretty view. Looks like you all had a fun yet relaxing week.
Except for that spider crawling on your friends face!:scared1: I would probably scream bloody murder if that ever happened to me! lol

I love going to that lake house! Always a great time :goodvibes And this was the first time we really took out those boats. They usually have their speedboat out, but the dad wasn't there so we couldn't go on it, which sorta stunk :/

LOL! I was a little mad at him when he told me that morning. We slept in the same room, their loft, so he left me while a gigantic spider was roaming around. I don't know how he even managed to stay so quiet. :sad2:

First, I'm very sorry I kinda slacked on this update. I've been extremely busy the past few days. I have states for swimming in two days and it's just been some exhausting practices and I'm going to be hugely busy this weekend. So I've got my last Vacation update... well it's sorta double because I thought you all deserved more for getting such a late update.

Oh, I wanted to ask since I'm pretty excited about this and I'm a total nerd, but... I GOT AN EARLY ACCOUNT ON POTTERMORE! :goodvibes If you don't know what that is, Pottermore is a site created by J.K. Rowling as a way to thank her fans (like me) for our dedication to the Harry Potter series. It isn't opening up until October, but a limited few (a million) can get in earlier this week and I got in two days ago. Totally worth waking up 4 in the morning  I just wanted to talk about that and ask if anyone else got on and what their username is? And good luck to those trying now to register early! (:

INTO THE WILDERNESS AND SWIMMING WITH DUCKS- ONE AWESOME WEEK

So, my dad only got one week off from work this summer, which meant only one week of vacation with him, so we took advantage of that and made some big plans :teeth: The first thing we did was the world-famous Boston Duck Tours!

As you probably guessed I live up in the Northeast area and so Boston isn't very far away and I've been there many times, but we've never done one thing they are famous for, the Tours on World War II Ducks around Boston. If you don't know what "Ducks" are, they aren't the QUACK! Ducks, but "amphibious" vehicles originally created by housewives during WWII for the army. They can be driven on land and travel in water. I think most of the ones made during WWII are no longer around, but some places (other than Boston) have taken them and made them into these tours, but I have a feeling Boston is famous by having different themes to each boat and characters driving them (drivers )

So, we got to do this. We were in a dark green colored boat called Liberty Teresa and our driver was Warrant Officer William. The cool part about that name is his initials spell WOW! And that's what was on his name tag, pretty cool.

Here is a select picture tour of our tour :teeth::

First, the Family Photo (This wasn't the duck we rode in behind us, that duck hadn't arrived yet and it was in front. The name of this one is Red Sox Nathan and was the one I wanted... So close, so close!)

It also looks like I'm giving a half-smoulder hahahaha

First was DYS

Followed by DOS

And finally me, wait… I’m a good driver so I’ll keep my eyes on the water... okay, maybe
I'll take one quick picture :/

And that ends our Duck Tour adventure. We had some dinner after at McCormick & Schmicks, which was delicious. I got Lobster :goodvibes. Now, we fast forward two days after to… Clark’s Trading Post!

244-1.jpg

245-1.jpg

I don't know how to explain Clark's Trading Post, but it's similar to a theme park with different attractions and such, but it's mostly based off the famous Bear show they have there, which is exactly how we started off our day, but first, DOS and I are trying to get this darn pump to work.

246-1.jpg

Alright, now on with the show...

249-1.jpg

253-1.jpg

255-1.jpg

It was much longer, but I think you understand the point of the show. After the show, we went to search for the notorious WOLFMAN... *echoes*

Then we went on the Bumper Boats

We also got to ride on Segways

Very fun

Oh and look it, a seat reserved for the current leader in AL East. Yeah, that's right!
324.jpg

It was a very fun day. We got to do a lot and it was nice to visit a favorite childhood travel spot and relive it all and be able to enjoy it a lot more (since there wasn't a lot I could do as a kid). Overall, it was a very fun week, with it's ups-and-downs, but it was nice to get to enjoy our "summer of fun" as a family.

*~*~*

Alright, so there is only one more update left :'( All good things must come to an end, so I must say I hope you've enjoyed reading this TR as I've enjoyed writing it to share it with all of you. Now, get ready for a supermegafoxyawesome (if you get the reference, you earn a ton of cool points) wrap-up! Stay tuned!

I ended up getting early to pottermore as well (I think you already knew that though cuz i mentioned it in kristen's TR.) My screen name is GoldThorn119

Mhm, yup you told me. Your username is awesome, much better than mine. Mine is HexHazel91 (: I also got one for my friend today and another one in case another one of my friend's asked for one.

I got a Pottermore account too! I totally wasn't expecting too, I'm not a huge HP fan like a lot of people, but I do like it a lot. My username is ChaserDawn97.

The Duck tour looks so cool! I've always wanted to do one of those. That's pretty awesome that you got to drive the boat too!
And that Clarks Trading Post looks pretty neat, I'm so jealous you got to ride the Segways! I still have yet to ride on one, lol.

Can't believe there's only one update left :(

Awesome, Clarice! Glad to see you got one. You probably read above, but I'm HexHazel91. (:

It was so much fun. You should totally do it if you get the chance, very fun. Though the driver is very controlling when you're driving the boat

Yeah, it is really cool. It reminds me of Disney giving characters to certain CMs that need to act in a certain way, like with the wolfman. It's kinda that other half of Disney that not many theme parks have :goodvibes And those Segways are actually a lot easier to use than I thought, if you get the chance, definitely ride it.

I know... But I can't wait to post it, it's going to take awhile to type up what I want to type up.

Thanks for reading along! (:

Woo, my sisters and I also got early Pottermore accounts! I'm not really a fan of my user name though...all of the choices they gave me were kind of lame. I wish we could've made our own names. :confused3

They have those Ducks up in the Wisconsin Dells too. I've only been there once so we never got to do one.

OMG, Kilroy was here...that totally reminds me of middle school. I'm pretty sure the musical one year was Kilroy Was Here! Now I'm going to have to go dig out my yearbook. haha

Yeah same with me and when I signed up again for my friend, I found MUCH better usernames. I actually signed up for a second account since I'm pretty sure another one of my friend's is going to want one  And I totally agree about making our own names, but I think with these being "beta-accounts", this is all just for a test since we are helping creating the site so... yeah  My username is HexHazel91 by the way

Cool! They seem to be in a lot more places than I expected haha :p If you ever get the chance, definitely check it out. I don't know how their tours are up there, but if they are anything like Boston, it's really cool and very fun :thumbsup2

OMG, haha! Though I wouldn't be surprised, if you were right. The names they have for musicals hahaha

Just read everything, awesome job! I am around your age as well, but I am not in band, so no extra Disney trip for me :sad2: Also, I have a random question. How did you like Jetblue? ;)
