Celebrity Apprentice 4 ~ No ADVANCED Spoilers ~

What is Richard hatch there for? :confused3 He seems to be mostly a worker bee. The only times I've seen him talk are when he does those inserts.

I wonder if Def Leppard's manager, with the thick accent, was really an overseas customer rep? :lmao:

Following The Rule. ;)

Here is the clip for Meatloaf's Meltdown. (I love YouTube! :woohoo: ) You can clearly Mark get in between Meatloaf & Gary and push Meatloaf back. Later Lil John came from behind in a neck hold and Mark held Meatloaf back.

Once you view the clip, then tell us if you want to alter your post. ;) (Just kidding. I know you don't do the Nevermind/delete thing. :teeth: )

Meatloaf didn't even apologize at the time, when he was found to have been mistaken.

He did apologize much later here.
(You can hear his choked up voice of contrition. he was like this in the Boardroom with Trump.)

The only reason it was considered "okay" is because Gary Busey can full well kick Meatloaf's a** back. Two equally matched opponents going at it, there is no problem.

Had he gone off on 5'2" Star that way, with no Mark & Lil John to interfere, I would have hauled Meatloaf into court myself. :furious:

In my younger, more fit days, I had assistant taught a martial arts/self defense course for women. Watching that video, even I would still be scared of Meatloaf in a tirade like that. :scared1: Although, I'd also be very angry myself, which drives my adrenaline to be able to fight back. :furious: I don't tolerate that **** from men. I now counsel abused women, and that pattern of violence and then contrition is too, too familiar. (NOT saying Meatloaf beats women. He might just punch walls, trash guitars, hotel rooms and threaten other guys who can take him on. Like the stereotype if a lot of rock stars. He did admit to taking anger management classes. He does show the violence/contrition pattern, still.)
You are right. I don't change posts. I generally own what I say.

Meatloaf did go over the top but I think that it's important to remember that we only see heavily edited scenes. That is, if you don't believe it's all faked like some people do. Meatloaf is a highly emotional guy and that involves even becoming overly angry. I'm not condoning his language but I'm not surprised that he might have gotten that angry with Gary. Gary annoyed the you-know-what out of me and I consider myself pretty even-tempered. I've never considered Meatloaf even-tempered by any stretch of the imagination!

This is all irrelevant anyway. It all comes down to two people and I can't decide who to pick out of the two. I would be happy with either I think.

:scratchin It would be a shame if Geoffrey Holder's lawyer does not allow him to be on CA. Probably the current release form stipulates that 7-Up or CA have all rights to use whatever images/footage they get of him for their purposes, without further compensation to Geoffrey. :confused3 Since he was such an ICONIC representation for 7-Up back in the '70's, that would be a huge windfall for 7-Up, to be able to use him again, without fairly compensating him.

I was just looking at Geoffrey Holder's Imdb.com page and his Ibdb.com for his Broadway credits. He hasn't done any Broadway since 1998 and no film or TV stuff since 2008. Even then, he only really did like one movie a year. Being on CA could really boost his career and give him some visibility again. :sad2: That's what all the celebs are doing it for. :confused3 It could be a bigger mistake not to just sign the release if they can't work out a better one.

I think John was the upper hand so far

Me too. I actually think he is the better project manager and should win. Marlee seems too timid almost. She still let Meatloaf run things even after she said she knew how to reel him in. I thought Meatloaf's idea for the commercial was lame at best. The commercial that John Rich is doing seems much much better. I can't wait to see how the events turn out and the issues with Def Leppard.

Meatloaf's ideas for projects seem to be so corny (police officer with the donut cravings, every 70s cliche he could think of). He seems a "tad bit" unbalanced (crying at the drop of a hat with the mention of Painted Turtle, screaming that he's going to throw his phone across the room). Personally, I think he should do a few more costume runs -- something to get him away from the commercial shoot.

Do you think Def Leppard really doesn't show for his concert, or is it another case of "creative editing"?

OMG!! I'm worried about Def Leppard :confused3 I really think John Rich should win. He is a much better project manager than Marlee. I also think that John will jump in if DL doesn't show. Also it would be great if Lil John performs in a show of support.

I actually like John's campaign better. I think its clearer and I love the Twisted Sister hook. I didn't see them create a supermarket display?

I was yelling "NOOOOOOO..." When Lil John didn't say himself in the interview :headache: He did try to redeem himself but the die was cast.

I hope Lil John steps up big time. Its seems like he gave up and doesn't care.

GO JOHN RICH :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I don't think that is the problem. The problem is that JR wants DL to play a kick drum before the concert starts to build momentum. That would put the drummer on stage before the rest of the band. I think that is what they don't want.

Frankly, JR can have anyone play a kick drum and then let the band enter as is usually does. Problem solved.

The previews showed John introducing Def Leppard. I am not sure what they are supposed to do at the event, will it just be a Def Leppard concert? Will they show their comercial? :confused3

I was so mad at Lil Jon when he didn't pick himself, what was he thinking! I think John picked the best team, as upset as Marlee was after Star got fired I would have thought she would have picked Star first.

Meatloaf's ideas are corny, and to have the 7-Up box be a boom box sounded like a good idea but it just didn't look good. I think John's comerical will be much better.

Why in the photo shoot was Marlee showing the back of the can? That really seemed stupid.

So far we haven't seen their charities mentioned and part of the task was to incorporate their charities.

I was a bit surprised at the celebrities that came back, Trump said they all wanted to come back but these were his choices. I really doubt if NeNe or David Cassidy wanted to return. Really glad that Gary did not come back.

Next week should be really good! :thumbsup2

Season finale tonight!! Who's ready? Who's gonna win?? :woohoo:

I'm ready to watch...and when it is actually on, not after DVRing it, lol. As to who's going to win? I don'y have a gut feel on this one. I think John Rich has been the better player throughout, but since it comes down to this final task (supposedly) just going to have to see the commercials. I think that Marlee is going to be able to get Jeffrey tho, and to me, if that happens it gives them an edge in the retro area...guess we'll see!

Oh good. we need people watching it and chatting in real time on this thread. It's always more fun watching together & being able to say, "Did you just see that?" popcorn:: popcorn::
