Celebrity Apprentice 4 ~ No ADVANCED Spoilers ~

I'm wondering if NeNe was planning on leaving anyway, and that why Latoya was allowed to come back in her spot??

I was thrilled that Star left.

I think the final two will b John Rich and Marlee, I think they will be able handle the the questions from previous winners the best

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that Star is gone!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Also, when LaToya was fired for the second time... did anyone else notice her exit? When she walked out of the building and to the cab, each step she took lit up and Billie Jean was playing in the background... I LOVED that too!!

I LOVED that they lit up the blocks on the ground! :thumbsup2

I really wish NeNe would've stayed. She lost a few points with me, however, I believe she felt that it didn't matter what she did, Star was the golden child. I also agree with a PP that maybe Trump had to prove that Star wasn't his favorite.

Whatever, at least she's gone! I mean I really really dislike her, more now than before. Did you see her hold up her closed hand to Meatloaf and say "Done!"? I'm so glad he called her on that. Who do you think you are?

What a stinking wannbe that Star is! She confuses "class" with having some money. One of my favorite sayings is "Money can buy a LOT of things, but it can't buy class!"

I was thinking the same thing later. :scratchin I'm sure his conversation with NeNe was way edited. That gal can TALK! She probably said she KNEW he favored Star and that she was going to win. Meatloaf, in his own argument said he knows Trump likes Star, and trump had to interrupt him and say that he likes everyone.

Trump probably realized everyone thought he was so obvious & predictable, and I'm sure he probably hates that. :p So he ended up firing Star just to prove to everyone that he's NOT. :snooty:

Star got upset as, two weeks ago, trump told her to keep her mouth shut, so she wouldn't accidentally put her own foot in it. This week, he went gunning for her, and she knew it was a losing battle. :sad1:

I also think the final two will be John & Marlee. BOTH are the most successful money raisers, and both have stuff in them that we have not fully seen yet. :scratchin popcorn::

I agree that the final two will be John Rich and Marlee. If it turns out to be any other combination of the four that are left, that'll be fine too, except that MeatLoaf seriously irritates me sometimes, such as the crying and sobbing about his charity and possibly losing the donations. You big dope, what did you think the show was about??

He definitely seems a little unbalanced. I don't care how much you care about your charity... his constant blubbering was a little over the top. And if John Rich could match it, then I'm sure Meatloaf could too.

Exactly! All of that crying and carrying on like a freaking 3 year old. Give me a break.

I think that Star got what she deserved. She was the one that said that they did not need the box picture at the end and that's what was needed. Then she lied and said that she had nothing to do with that decision.

Meatloaf is a blubbering oaf. I liked him a lot better earlier in the season. But he definately is creative, he has just as hard a time getting his ideas across as Gary did.

I totally agree with both of these!! Star lied and never thought that Trump would fire her AND she thought she could talk her way out of any situation. WRONG.

MeatLoaf IS a blubbering oaf. I agree that he has talent, but I agree that he's almost as bad as Gary! As soon as Gary was fired, John Rich started complaining about MeatLoaf (a few episodes back). I KNEW that was going to happen. LOL

This is only our second season of Apprentice, ever. I have to say, it's fairly innocuous entertainment on a Sunday night. Almost makes me forget about work the next morning! :happytv:

Edited because a word that I used got ***-ed out! LOL I didn't know that that particular word was not allowed! Yikes. LOL It's not even really a bad word!! LOL

Man, I wish Meatloaf would go off on her like he did with Gary Busey.

I think Meatloaf should have been fired on the spot if he went off a second time like that. it would show he is highly unhinged, unpredictable, can't manage his emotions and is possibly a physical threat. That is abusive and a bully.

In fact, all this talk about him blubbering goes to a pattern of an abuser, who has blow ups AND then blubbers how sorry and contrite he is afterwards or blubbers because deep down he's so sensitive and things affect him so much. . . Hmmm :scratchin

I'm wondering if NeNe was planning on leaving anyway, and that why Latoya was allowed to come back in her spot??

I doubt that. NeNe is on record how for being a Quitter. Why would she purposely want that, unless she felt provoked to leave? If she was going to leave anyway, she could have come up with a more gracious excuse.

LaToya was allowed back to fill the spot left behind by Jose Canseco.

I agree his emotions are over the top but wasn't he saying that the people that he got to donate the most to him were already supporters of his charity and that is why they gave him the donations - I think he mentioned $20,000 from one and $25,000 from the other. I could be entirely wrong but I think he was upset that "their" money would be going to another cause, not the one they intended to supported.

Did anyone else hear him say that or am I hallucinating?

I think John Rich will be one of the final two. It's a toss up for the second spot in my opinion.

Nope, I heard that too. I said a couple pages back that when I donate money to a specific cause, like the tsunami or Haiti, I don't want to find later that it went to a dog charity, or something other than what I donated it for - even though the other charity may be just as deserving.

If I'm told the funds are going for a specific cause, that is a different thing than, "Donate to the Celebrity Apprentice, the funds will go to A good charity, one or another."

You're not hallucinating, he did say that. However, the point is that if he told them he was raising the funds for a task for Celebrity Apprentice, then he's an even bigger idiot for NOT telling them the rules and how their money could go to a different charity.

I don't understand why Marlee is on everyone's list to finish in the top two? :confused3 She's FAR from the best player and hasn't been a front player the whole time without star... and that man's voice sort of freaks me OUT!! :lmao:

The two Johns have been the best players. Meatloaf and Star made the most noise but those two are pure winners.:thumbsup2

I'm surprised Marlee didn't go home this week, actually. It didn't look like she did anything at all!

I don't see Lil John as a front player either. :confused3 He's been flying very quietly under the radar. Every week Trump has to ask, "What did Lil John do?" I ask that also? :confused3 The way the show is edited, it doesn't look like he really does much. I frankly forgot he had been Project Manager before, until he said the name of his charity again.

I laughed hearing Star say over and over "I adore Meatloaf". It reminded me of eating at the Prime Time Cafe.

Some of you are pretty hard on Meat Loaf but then I never saw the episode where he jumped all over Gary. Yes, he is emotional and as far as I know always has been. I personally don't mind someone being emotional when it comes to a favorite charity. He should have made it clear what charity it was for though.

I really can't decide who is a favorite right now. There are way too many good arguments here. :)

Yeah, what was up with that? She was the project manager and let those other two run all over her.

Following The Rule. ;)

Here is the clip for Meatloaf's Meltdown. (I love YouTube! :woohoo: ) You can clearly Mark get in between Meatloaf & Gary and push Meatloaf back. Later Lil John came from behind in a neck hold and Mark held Meatloaf back.

Once you view the clip, then tell us if you want to alter your post. ;) (Just kidding. I know you don't do the Nevermind/delete thing. :teeth: )

Meatloaf didn't even apologize at the time, when he was found to have been mistaken.

He did apologize much later here.
(You can hear his choked up voice of contrition. he was like this in the Boardroom with Trump.)

The only reason it was considered "okay" is because Gary Busey can full well kick Meatloaf's a** back. Two equally matched opponents going at it, there is no problem.

Had he gone off on 5'2" Star that way, with no Mark & Lil John to interfere, I would have hauled Meatloaf into court myself. :furious:

In my younger, more fit days, I had assistant taught a martial arts/self defense course for women. Watching that video, even I would still be scared of Meatloaf in a tirade like that. :scared1: Although, I'd also be very angry myself, which drives my adrenaline to be able to fight back. :furious: I don't tolerate that **** from men. I now counsel abused women, and that pattern of violence and then contrition is too, too familiar. (NOT saying Meatloaf beats women. He might just punch walls, trash guitars, hotel rooms and threaten other guys who can take him on. Like the stereotype if a lot of rock stars. He did admit to taking anger management classes. He does show the violence/contrition pattern, still.)

ITA I think Marlee is not a strong player. Sometimes in the boardroom she looked like a deer in headlights. I think Lil Jon is a much stronger player.

Yeah, what was up with that? She was the project manager and let those other two run all over her.

She also admitted she lost control of Meatloaf and didn't like that there was no script. Then tell him to write one!!

I don't agree with this at all. I don't think Trump said this because he thought Lil John was not contributing. I think he said this about everyone to find out who did what. Lil John contributed a lot of the creative ideas to the tasks. His being the MC and spokesman for most of the tasks were praised and usually commented on positively by the judges. This last task he was a little forceful but I thought enjoyable.

I think people just like Marlee. She doesn't whine and cry, have wild emotional outbursts, hasn't threatened anyone, doesn't belong to a wack-o family, doesn't have a "better than you" attitude, comes across rather intelligent, etc. Maybe some just want her to be in the top two because they want a "normal" person to win?

Maybe. I find her boring and a follower. If that's normal.. okay. :surfweb:

The Donald was roasted on Comedy Cetral a couple months ago. I was surprised to see Marlee part of the comedy team that "roasted" him. I wonder if they are good friends or if she was picked because of Apprentice. I was just really surprised to see her there. Her roasting of Donald was pretty funny and a little raunchy. :confused3

Funny I have the same question about Marlee. I seem to always remember LilJohn working hard and coming up front but I always forget what Marlee did.

I'm THRILLed about LJ's charity winning again, btw. Awesome place, UMCH, :thumbsup2 my aunt worked there for years.

I completely agree with this, HOWEVER, 5'2" Star is not defenseless. Maybe I'm just a little sensitive in some way to this, but Star is verbally controlling and munipulative and I absolutely would not take it. I feel his reaction to STAR was completely appropriate, and frankly, I would've been meaner. I was totally ok with the way NeNe handled Star, and if NeNe were a man, he would've been hauled into court.

Just my two cents, I'm ready for the flames! :thumbsup2;)
