He had left the show to be with his dad. I had not heard an update. I wonder if he was still away because of that.

Thanks I knew he had left but was wondering why he wasn't on the reunion show. Personally I thought he was a total waste to be on the show anyway. Mary

Donald Trump is marketing personified and I think he loved the NeNe and Starr war because it pumped his ratings.

I thought it was crazy when David Cassidy went on and on about Richard Hatch- Hatch is a jerk but get over it. (and I was always a David Cassidy fan)

I have always liked Marlee- watched her series years ago- I think she was an attorney or PI with Mark Harmon like 15-20 yrs ago and loved her on West Wing. But I wanted JR to win because overall I think Mark was right on- Marlee had a great week and JR had a great season. I don't think Marlee was an effective PM & leader- she couldn't seem to channel Meatloaf and wasn't on top of the specifics at each stage of the Onstar challenge or this 7-up one either.

I didn't like Marlee's commercial with the exception of the 70's 7-up guy. I liked the premise of JR's commercial but thought it was a bit cheesy in its production. I also liked his can better- the 7-up signage blended with the disco ball a bit too much on Marlee's. I wish Trump had went into more details about the last task and who won that but seemed like there were so many commercial breaks that he had to cut his explanations short!

I thought John Rich definately deserved to win over Marlee. Marlee wasn't anywhere near as good a Project manager. Meatloaf ran all over her. She depended on Meatloaf to get Jeffrey the Un Cola Guy. All she did was say she didn't have a plan B when it looked like he wouldn't come because of a contract problem. Marlee didn't say I'm going to make this happen. She whined. In contrast John Rich screwed up the time (20 minutes) and rather than whine like Marlee and wring his hands he problem solved himself he jumped on stage made up a song right then and there and entertained people until Def Leppard went onstage. This to me is what separated him from Marlee. He also raised $275,000. No it wasn't a fund raising task but he went above and beyond. This also showed Trump that John Rich was dead serious and willing to go that extra mile to get where he needed to go. On a side note I would have loved to see Lil John jump on stage with John Rich to help him entertain everyone while they waited for Def Lappard to show. I thought Lil John didn't support John Rich as much as he could.

I like John Rich's commercial better overall. I thought it was great having Dee turn into full Twisted Sister at the end. I also loved his can. I thought Marlee's disappeared but John's popped.

I also disagree that Star played the game that well. She got fired. And NeNe called her out weeks earlier on her strategy. And if you have to keep telling people your classy, smart and professional. Me thinks you are trying to convince yourself you are all those things.

I believe Mark McGrath said it best Marlee had the best night of fund raising but John Rich had the best season.

I agree, I even HATED Twisted Sister back in the day but I just can't get that jingle out of my head "7 Up Retro, Still keepin' in real!" lol. My kids were singing it in the pop aisle yesterday.

That's funny. TS was one of the few hair bands I liked during the 80s. They put on one heck of a concert, too. I thought using Dee in the commercial was brilliant and the jingle sounded like something TS would have sang way back then.
