Celebrity Apprentice 4 ~ No ADVANCED Spoilers ~

I completely agree with this, HOWEVER, 5'2" Star is not defenseless. Maybe I'm just a little sensitive in some way to this, but Star is verbally controlling and munipulative and I absolutely would not take it. I feel his reaction to STAR was completely appropriate, and frankly, I would've been meaner. I was totally ok with the way NeNe handled Star, and if NeNe were a man, he would've been hauled into court.

Just my two cents, I'm ready for the flames! :thumbsup2;)

Maybe I wasn't fully clear in what I said. Yes, Star is very emotionally and verbally manipulative, controlling and demeaning. Meatloaf & Star could have gotten into it verbally more. I couldn't believe he let that comment about him not having credentials at her level, go.

Notice, I didn't have a problem with Star & NeNe going after each other. Even if they have a black gal, chick fight, :scared1: :scared1: where they started pulling each other's hair, rolling on the floor, scratching, biting, kicking, etc., I have NO problem with that. They are physically and emotionally evenly matched.

I also and might have said I have no problem with any two people: male or female, male AND female evenly matched going at it.

I think it was Robin who said she was hoping to see Gary go off on Star the way he did with Gary. While I have no problem with him verbally, argumentatively getting into it with her, debating her, etc., I DO have a problem with any person, male or female, using their BIGGER/STRONGER physical strength or size to bully, intimidate, dominate or physically threaten another person who is NOT evenly matched.

In Meatloaf's tirade at Gary, he DID physically threaten him. He raised his fist, like he threatened to hit him. (I DON'T think Robin meant him to go off on Star that way though.) A big guy of 280 lbs. who looks like he is turning purple and red, and going off, shaking, like he could physically lose it, right in Star's face, would be scary. :scared: He could get in a good punch before the production assistants jumped in to stop him.

I just finished posting on the Criminal Minds thread how Jennifer Lopez's character learned the martial arts, Krav Maga, in the movie Enough, when she went to kick the butt out of her abusive battering husband:

I think that made her evenly matched to her battering hubby. ;)

Did anybody see NeNe on Ellen yesterday??? She was bashing Star up onside and down the other.

HAHAHAH! I get you! Not quite sure NeNe and Star are physically evenly matched though. I think NeNe would squish her like a bug! :lmao:

Did anybody see NeNe on Ellen yesterday??? She was bashing Star up onside and down the other.

NO! But I am so going to YouTube to try and find it right now!

I saw it. I thought she looked like an idiot bashing Star like that. Star is no saint but at least she's not making the talk show circuit about their fight.

Hmmm. I tend to disagree. NeNe is who she is, flaws and all, and I found her thoughts on Star to be spot on with how I see her. And all of the "fired" celebs make the talk show circuit. LaToya was just on Ellen prior to NeNe. I didn't feel what she said was said out of meanness, I think she was being honest. Frankly, I thought NeNe filtered herself pretty well. I mean she realizes that people cast her for her abrasive and outspoken nature, and I also think she realizes that there is a way to still be herself and filter slightly. I mean I know I'm team NeNe, but I thought it was a great interview.

I just watched it on youtube and I agree with you.

I don't know. Star is so uppity and likes to think of herself as superior, that I think in her past, she's gotten into a few rolling on the ground chick fights. She just invites that kind of response, if you know what I mean. ;)

hope it works

It works! Thanks!

And yep, Star's very classy, and educated. Hope ya'll picked up the sarcasm on that one.

I thank God that I don't have to deal with people like her. That clip gives me confirmation of how I feel about her.

I watched last weeks episode today and just got caught up on the thread.

I think the final two will be John Rich and Lil Jon.

Marlee really should have gotten fired last week. She had the final say in how the spot was edited, she let Meatloaf and Star run the show. I think the two woman talked & decided to stick together and get Meatloaf fired. Star was right in saying they did have a shot of the box, all Marlee had to do was say she wanted that to be the last shot. I also thought Star was about to burst into tears, didn't like the way she talked down to Meatloaf.

I really found Meatloaf's crying off putting. He knew the rules, and he sure didn't give the other team money when he won as project manager, (don't think it was a fundraiser though). I think he could have gotten his point across without all the crying. For once I agree with Trump, if they all got to keep the money for their own chairities then they wouldn't try so hard to win.

Sounds like the final four are not going to have a challenge, Trump is going to pick the final two. Have they done this before? Although tonight's episode is Part 1, don't know what they will do for two hours this week and two hours next week.

I'm guessing they fill a lot of time with their past winners, Bret Michaels, Joan Rivers? not sure if she is on...but a lot of that kinda stuff to drag it out and get 2 more nights ratings. I thought 2 get canned tonight by Trump... and then the challenge of the last 2? guess I am going to have to watch now to see what happens.

No there IS a challenge. They have always done it this way. Trump makes them met with past winners. For the first CA, they met with past The Apprentice winner, Bill Rancic and some CEOs of companies.

This time will be with the past CA winners.

Trump fires two contestants immediately after consulting with the experts THEN he gives the final two contestants EACH one final task. The task takes up this week and they show the recorded clips of the task during the LIVE finale. Then Trump picks the winner live.

It's bad that I remember this much! :rotfl:

Marlee and John Rich!! This is a great pair to finish off the show! Meatloaf had a good run, I never expected him to be such an emotional wreck over and over these weeks but we saw a very different side to him!!

Okay! I would have made some money back in Vegas by correctly picking the Final Two. :woohoo: :yay:

That John Rich comment scene was the funniest thing ever, when the painting fell off the wall. I was rolling on the floor. :lmao: :lmao:

Interesting how neither one picked Star as their first or second choice. :rolleyes1

ooooohhh, Marlee hit paydirt thinking to use Jeffrey...cola nut dude!:thumbsup2

Yep, that was the FIRST thing I thought of when they said 7-Up & the 70's. It's the UNcola! :woohoo:

I think she screwed up picking Meatloaf though. And ending up with LaToya over Star. Star IS good at logistical stuff and organizing. What is Latoya there for? :confused3 And Meatloaf is too domineering. Marlee tends to get overwhelmed by him.

I don't get what Def Leppard & the Harlem Globetrotters are supposed to do with this task??? Aren't the teams supposed to USE them? :confused3

I don't know...LaToya has the 70's vibe, Meatloaf has ideas, Marlee now knows to reel him in. I think Star would have been a source of paranoia..could she be trusted? Would she remain professional, I'm not so sure. Right now, I would have to go with Marlee having the better *hook* as far as the right celeb in the commercial/ad.
