Casey Anthony Civil Trials Discussion

Oh, that so irked me when she said that. Please don't compare what those 12 morons did with doing God's work. :rolleyes:Yes, that.

Ok, I posted before I read the thread (shame on me! ) so :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Irked is a very NICE word to use!

And when that verdict came in and Casey was free, I got my answer that it was an accident. And I believe that justice for Caylee was when her mother walked. I believe that with all my heart."

CA: "God was her judge and He let her free."

Denial is one thing. I could even conjure up a little sympathy for Cindy given all she had been through. I could understand looking for any answer that makes it seem like her daughter isn't the monster people think she is. But justice for Caylee was when Casey walked??? I can't even come up with the right words for this one. That isn't denial. That is beyond sick.

CA (in the end preview for upcoming episode) said that Casey told her how Caylee died, so I don't think that she wanted to know what happened to Caylee. I think she wanted to know what happened to Casey .... what made her tell these lies, cover things up for 31 days, etc.

I saw the preview also and I thought it said something like CA was suppose to go alone... KC was going to tell her how Caylee died. I have a feeling she didnt go alone and so she wasnt told.

I thought that "Mr. Baez called and I was supposed to go alone" spiel was in regard to Phil asking Cindy if she thought that GA molested Casey. Because GA said "I didn't know why I couldn't go (couldn't be there?)" or something to that effect ... so that led me to believe that the Baez calling Cindy in was to discuss the molestation stuff. I could be wrong in my interpretation of that. We'll soon find out!

"I believe that Casey had knowledge or had something to do with placing Caylee there. And I don't understand it. I know that 's belief that as soon as someone dies they leave the body and that was no longer Caylee. That Caylee went straight to heaven and I know that." Cindy said she would never place someone that she loved the way Casey did.

GA: "Casey had something to do with where Caylee was placed."

CA: "It breaks my heart that her body was left there that way but what were we going to do anyway? Our belief was for cremation."Phil said "Cindy, you just said she shouldn't have put her the woods but what were we going to do anyway? That is excusing her." Phil goes on to ream Cindy for being disloyal to Caylee to not take a clear eyed view and find out what happened to her.

I was truly floored by that statement (along with the whole "God spoke to me through the Pinellas jury" malarky).

While initially upset at Dr. Phil & the Ant's making money off Caylee's death through this interview, I now think it served its purpose: if CA's supporters still show sympathy toward her, they are as whacked as CA.

This interview gave me (and hopefully, the world) a very clear picture of the family dynamics that created Casey Anthony.

Yeah - those two statements floored me as well. CA's whole attitude was unreal (surreal?) and cavalier. I understand that they believe that once the spirit is gone, the body is just a shell ... but how can you not care about how that "shell" was treated? CA's attitude was like "Yeah the body was dumped but Caylee's spirit wasn't there anyway, so it's ok. We were going to cremate that shell anyway, so ya know, it just sat in the woods and nature kinda started to decompose it for us. Whatever."

Here is how I picture the scenario if Casey showed up on CA & GA doorstep.

Ding Dong
Hmmmm......wonder who that could be?
The happy couple walks to the front door together.
George opens the door and his jaw drops when he sees his daughter.
Cindy shoves George out of the way and embraces Casey.
Casey pushes back and says she is only staying if dad gets the boot.
Cindy shoves George out the front door, yells that she will toss his stuff out on the front lawn later, pulls Casey inside, and slams the door shut.

I watched it. Yesterday I was feeling a bit sorry for Cindy. Today , not so much. Besides being in a state of utter and complete denial she went and pissed me off. The little bit of sympathy I might have been able to conjure up went right out the window when she said that Justice of Casey was justice for Caylee.

When she started in with God setting Casey free, she completely lost me. I am a God fearing Catholic and take my religion pretty seriously. I also don't get offended often. God didn't set her free, 12 idiotic jurors who have free will ,set her free. When she started in with all of that, I completely lost it, I actually got angry.

I hope some of these jurors watched these interviews Although I bet they will still say the prosecution just didn't present it well. I felt for George as you can see he faces the truth even though its a truth he can't fathom.

Cindy needs help

I'm so glad I am only reading what she said and did not actually hear her say those words. I am Catholic too, not super into it, but it's still there and I do believe in the power of prayer. I can't believe she really thinks that there was justice. :sad2:

Just watched today's episode (missed yesterday's), but FWIW, CA would have fit well on the jury; even if she had been given a video and the smoking gun, she wouldn't believe her precious KC was guilty. She takes denial to a whole new level!!!

Yeah, we thought the village had 12 idiots when in reality there are 13.

I haven't watched Dr. Phil. I'd like to get a few more years out of the plasma TV and I just KNOW that I'd try to crawl right through it to get to that crazy Cindy. So it's best I keep it turned off.

Nothing Curlygirl is writing is changing my opinion and in fact, just reinforces it. Casey is a Class A pathological liar who killed her daughter and her mother will go to any lengths to make excuses for her. Even if it means figuratively throwing Caylee to the wolves. It's all about Casey......The whole world revolves around her. In fact, in Anthonyland, Casey is the sun, Cindy is the revolving planet and everyone is just space debris. Disposable space debris.

George is still trying to point out that the emperor has no clothes and Cindy continues to shush him at every turn. Shut up George, quit beating up on your daughter, stop being so mean, can't you be supportive, what is wrong with you, yada yada yada. No wonder George so often looks like a beaten, defeated man. He's had YEARS of trying to sound the alert that something was amiss and every single time he was silenced.....and it was probably done in a very harsh way. He's been conditioned to believe HE is the problem in the family, not Casey.

You see, there is REALITY and then there is Anthonyland reality. And George sees REAL REALITY, but everyday life is lived in Anthonyland reality where he is told her is wrong, wrong, wrong and to be quiet, quiet, quiet! It's no wonder George is a freaking mess. And it's no wonder Lee has distanced himself from the lot of them.

God knows I would hate to admit to myself that I had raised a child capable of murdering anyone, let alone her own child. But I would like to think that between the two, I would advocate for my poor, dead grandchild and not my murdering child. Or at a minimum, the child who dumped her baby in the swamp. Cindy has abandoned all thought of Caycee. The best that child gets is lip service from her grandmother. It's all about Casey, Casey, Casey. No one else matters to Cindy.

How pathetic is that?

You do realize that I can picture that perfectly!

I totally agree with everything you've written! :thumbsup2

We need the dialogue, Lisa!
