Can I make advance reservations for Trader Sam's Grog Grotto in WDW?

Title says it all--are advance reservations available to be made for Trader Sam's Grog Grotto in the Polynesian? I keep looking in Disney reservations but never see any times for any days. Help!

What time do they start letting you put your name on the list?

My understanding is they start taking names at 2PM. According to BlogMickey The hours for reopening will be 3pm to midnight. The same rules about no guests under 21 years old past 8pm will apply.

Last time we were there, we got our name on the list 45 minutes before they opened ( an hour is safer as we were one of the last groups in). Then you could wonder around for a bit. You want to be back before they open. They will page you, but then go onto the next name. They don't hold any tables for people that are not present.

THIS. Although personally I’d say don’t plan on the food there as more than a snack anymore. There’s no two things I would’ve wanted to combine as a small meal. Options just aren’t as good now. But the drinks and atmosphere are still awesome.

Glad I found this! I was looking for this answer - we have a group of 5 hoping to go for a fun drink before the halloween party... Sounds like we'll show up around 2 p.m. to put our name on the list with fingers crossed to get in at 3 p.m. Where exactly do you go?

Went last week. You go right to Trader Sams, there will be someone outside to take your information and they will text you when table is ready. We got there around 2 pm, think she just started taking names, we were texted around 3:15 pm. Party of 3.
