Staying at the Island Tower next month. For anyone who's already been or stayed, if you need any type of front desk help or check-in, that's still in the Great Ceremonial House?

Luggage services.. does the tower have its own or is this also at GCH?

Curious about parking too. I'm guessing there's parking closer to the tower and it's own entrance from the outside?

We stayed in the tower over new years. DCL transport dropped us all off in front of GCH so we checked in there, but room wasn’t ready. We headed over to explore the tower (such a short walk over) and talked to the CMs with tablets standing around, and decided to ask again if our room was ready. And they found us a room right away. We requested a late checkout time, and the tower CMs were so helpful as well. Loved our stay there!

Hello! Can anyone tell me what type of coffee maker is in the old studios now? Whether it's a pot or a k-cup? I see the tower has the k-cup but not sure about the older buildings. Thank you!

Not 100% certain, but I thought we had the old coffee maker in our Pago Pago room in December.

Yeah, I don't believe they changed the coffee pots to the Keurigs. I think it's still the Mr.Coffee drip pots.... maybe at the next refresh.

Does anyone know if your magic band/key card gives you access to the Island tower when you are currently staying in the Poly longhouses? I'd love to have the chance to see the view from one of the lounges, although I appreciate why these aren't "public" spaces. Thanks!

No, those spaces are for Tower guests only.

I’ve recently pulled the trigger on a contract for the Poly and am so looking to the new tower, can someone point me to a thread that has a good set of pic’s showing the deluxe tower studio with the Murphy bed down? I’m curious if its something that can be left down during the stay or does it really restrict movement that it needs to be put up every day?

I'd suggest you search YouTube, there have been a ton of room tour videos of the Tower, all room types. Just search Polynesian Tower Room Tours and you will have quite a selection. Congrats on your purchase!

It was left down during our entire stay (housekeeping didn’t put it back up) and the room was still very spacious with lots of room to walk around between the beds, and also to use the kitchenette etc.

Our deluxe studio in the tower had the Keurig combo single or pot. They provided both k-cups and packets of coffee in our room.

From what I recall, the tower studio, 1BR, and 2BRs all have this combo (sorry don't know what Keurig refers to it as). Duos studios only have the single k-cup makers.

Thanks, I had viewed a bunch of them but they always seemed to speed past it to show the kitchenette and the decorations. All of which I found to be very attractive. But since I’ve only stayed at the originals and not in the tower. I was looking for something more.

I have not seen mentioned nor have I viewed in any videos a toaster in the tower deluxe studios. Does anyone know if toasters are in the deluxe studios in the tower? If not, can you request one in the tower?

Pretty sure the toaster is stored in the cabinets above. Definitely saw a toaster in the cupboard in someone’s duo studios pictures on Tikiman’s FB group.
