I am terrible in the cold, anyway, and can stand heat much better. A hot summer night in Magic Kingdom is fine for me.

I am the exact same way! I can't stand to be cold -- I much prefer the heat and summer!

Before we move on to August 1st I need to add in my pics from the 31st.

While Brooklynn was walking around Pop in her pajamas with MeMom and Isabella. Trent, Jarvis, John, and I were here

We said hi to Bo while we were waiting.

Now I make it point to say hi too!

We were let in the gate and moved up to the rope. Then these guys came out to lead the way and make sure no one ran or tried to bypass the herd.

I guess the 2 without uniforms were "backup" in case of stampede?

The crowd behind us before the rope dropped.

We followed the mass and we were soon here.

As a preschool teacher I personally love this handprint fish.

As soon as we were finished at Toy Story John and I headed to the bus stop. We were going to trade MeMom out and she was going to head over to Hollywood to meet up with Trent and Jarvis while we hung out with the girls at Pop. While we were waiting these two old guys passed us. I told John it was Trent and Jarvis in about 40 to 50 years. You be the judge.

Sure looks like it!

So over to the Goofy Pop Jets.

I have been finished with all my Christmas shopping since about mid November. When I was shopping on Black Friday I actually bought Brooklynn's birthday present for August.

I wrapped last year on Christmas Eve and vowed never to do it again. I will try and start wrapping the week of. I don't get much time to do it without Brooklynn and Isabella around so that is why I usually have to wait.

Great Spectro pictures!

Thank you ma'am. There weren't too many of them, and they were not the usual ones, but it was nice just remember a little Spectro from that night.

Having to catch up here. Life starts getting pretty crazy about this time of the year. Loved my front row seat for Spectro last night. And I didn't have to fly to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although watching from the recliner wasn't quite the same, but good nonetheless!

Definitely not the same from home, but youtube it when you're really Disney World homesick and it's pretty good stuff!

Hey MeMom loving you report. Just wanted and pop in and ask if you got snow. It's just really cold here. Gotta run doing some shopping today. I haven't bought anything. ugh

Not enough to count as snow here, but a little further south they did.

I'm buying very little, since we're taking the trip. I did get Brooklynn a couple more things at the Disney Store yesterday, but I haven't gotten her much, and I am pretty much done.

Loved the Spectro pictures MeMom, it really reminds me of the visits to Disney when I was much much younger!

So sorry to hear about your students house fire. So very sad. Thinking of you and them xxx

Spectro is by far my favorite parade in all of Disney!! I loved being able to experience this morning with you!! The music is amazing the floats...and I agree those lesser known performers make the parade the wonderful event that it is!!!!

Do you youtube it sometimes just to hear the music and dream that you were there? I do.

Do you have the CD? It is just about the right amount of playing time to get me from my school parking lot to home. Very nice on especially crazy days, although I will say second grade has been less stressful, and I haven't listenend to it as much this year as I did last year.

Awesome! To me, I always think of summer when I think of Spectro. I don't really know why, but there's something special about it in the summer, in my opinion. I'm weird I guess.

Disregard my last post, MeMom; I finally mailed the card early in the afternoon. I had to almost tear apart my car for it because I forgot Charles put it in the glovebox for safekeeping.

Thanks so much. I think it is sort of setting in with them this week. They are able to think a little more. They will be trying to get repairs done to the house and get back in at least one section of it soon. There are too many people in the house where they are staying right now.

That's all I have. I've loaded more pictures for MeMom so we are ready to finish up the last three days just in time to leave after Christmas. We will do the New Years trip when we get back and then back track to the October girls trip.

Brooklynn looks to be having a big old time, doesn't she? She'll be watching Bella's every move next summer as she begins to play in the jets. She'll tell her, "Sister is here." She always wants Bella to know she's taking care of her.

It is my hope and prayer that both of these great young men will find wonderful girls and have children and grandchildren to push around someday. They are both very down-to-earth and very grounded, and they are great with kids.

I will admit that sometimes their cheesecake is a bit dry, but it's Pop and it's the thing to do once during the trip, so we do it.
