There is definetely an extender contest! So bring them! I am choosing light weight gifts to bring to you all...can't wait to deliver!!! I love to see everyone's decorated doors and extenders--so fun!!!

Tomorrow, we are building a chicken coop. My little chicks are pretty good size chickens now. I hope we get eggs before it snows!

We have kittens, too, that are about to find new homes...anyone in the Chicago area..we deliver!

Oh wow - I've had chickens - 1st when I was a kid - my first job at my grandparents ranch was to close the chickens up in thier coop at nite -
then - when I married we decided to hae chickens in suburbs - we had a very large lot - so built a coop and had white leghorns - oh memories - that was my first marriage many years ago-the kids loved gathering eggs - ah nostalgia!!

Here is the lanyard.

If there are any new folks wanting a lanyard please let me know. The cost right now is 2.02 plus shipping. So I guess this answers another question. I was planning on shipping them to everyone before we set sail. It will take to week plus shipping time to get them. Right now the ETA should be July 3 or 6.
They look great!!! i vote for the card holders but can buy some on my own if others are not interested. Holler if you need help.

OK then. I was just wondering because of living in UK. Not sure how long US post is taking to get here at the moment but it can take up to 4 weeks based on past experience! Didnt want them not to arrive in time.

Quick question for those arriving into Barcelona on Saturday August 18 on the Aer Lingus flight at 10:40am....are any of you taking the DCL transfers to the ship or are you getting a taxi? Since I am traveling alone I was considering the transfers.

Can you point me towards basic instructions on how one makes a fish extender. I am not sure exactly what they are or how I would go about making one. I can sew at a basic level. We will be in the world week aftern next and I will a) look for things to decorate and b) look for light weight gifts

Just get one of those little under your airplane seat animal carriers and deposit a kitten in the fish extenders until you run out.

Do we have a count on how many fish extenders there will be? Do I need hundreds of small goodies?

Oh, my instructions....I am not good with the computer...Really anything with a pocket in it to hold little presents and notes is good. The originals were purchased organizers that looked like shoe holders that you hang on the back of the door. I made mine from an old pair of jeans and added fringe. Some use gift bags and stickers. One used a treasure chest.

Hello Everyone!! We just got back from an awesome trip to WDW. We had a great time introducing the inlaws to everything Disney. I finally caught up on the posts I missed this week. Now I can focus on planning for this upcoming voyage. A big WELCOME to the new folks joining us.

It will not be a problem. If they arrive as planned July 6, then uting them in the post may not be an issue. We would have a least 4 weeks. However there is someone, name slips me at this moment, who is leaving on the
13th. I am not sure if she is in England or in the USA.

I have been searchingfor the ziplok card holder and have found some, but they are vertical. I will keep searchin and let you all kow.

Trying again. I think I phrased it badly. How do you figure out how many extenders to put goodies in. I am more than willing to give up formal attire for presents but not the underwear. (trying to figure out how many items I have to squeeze in the luggage).

I am just planniing on everyone having them, and if they don't, the gifts I bring will go to CM's. They need a little something anyway! I usually only do one gift per stateroom anyway. You can either use the cruise list on page one or the lanyard list.

What types of items do most folks give as gifts? Are they homemade crafts? Are they purchased items? I am so totally clueless about this and the whole fish extender thing.
