"La Ruta del Modernisme-
The examples of Modernista architecture in Barcelona...lie along a route designed by the city's tourist office. A Multi-ticket, available from Casa Amatller allows entry into a total of three musuems and affords you the freedom to plan your own itinerary. The Casa Lleo Morera, Palau Guell and Palau de la Musica Catalana all have guided tours, and entry is half price at the selected museums. Many of the other premises are shops, cafes and hotels in private hands and often, tantalizingly, the interiors are not open to the public."

Multi tickets are good for 30 days. The book I found this in (Eyewitness Travel, Barcelona & Catalonia) has a map in it showing where the sites are and the walking route. I can't find any specific website for this, and may have to wait to get more information from the tourist office once I get there.

Do we have a logo for the front of the DIS Navigator or are we using the last one? It wasnt my image so I dont want to steel anything.

Lindsay

Please can you PM me with any special events or planned activities you want added to the navigator? Birthdays, anniversarys, meets etc?

Lindsay

Dear Bridgemanva,
I agree wholeheartedly with your statements. I think DCL does an outstanding job for the whole family. I haven't found a cruise line that can compare with our disney cruises. I also like the end of August preschool start up finish off summer vacation cruise of a lifetime. Repo cruise or not we can hardly wait. Hope to meet you and similiar cruisers.

What a great way for the kids to really get excited about the big cruise. We have four girls. Ages 13, 11, 11, and 5. Which by the way the 5 year old will turn 6 on August 23. I guess you could say she's a little excited about having her birthday on the Disney Cruise for a second time!!

I have added you to the list.

So far the cost is 2.02 plus shipping. I am still searching for the card holder and trying to get a good price. I have fount them for .80, but think I might be able to better than that.

We will be doing the B2B - so we will be leaving for Barcelona on Aug 5th.
I will only need the Lanyard, not the holder. If you post where to send the money - I can send you a check for the two lanyards + postage. Let me know if there is anything I can do to make it easy for you.
Thank you,
Joyce aka DisneyPata:yay:

Hi all,

We just saw an irresistible offer for the Disney Magic transatlantic cruise and will be joining you (currently cat 12). We (Polona and Marko) are in our thirties, no children yet. Disney Wonder was our first cruise for our honeymoon 7 years ago and we just feel in love with the whole cruise concept. In the last 7 years we were on 12 cruises, but this will be only our second Disney.

Looking forward to Disney Magic and all of you!

 Hi Polona & Marko,
look forward to meeting you both on the Magic.
As a matter of interest how did you hear about our cruise, didnt think it was advertised/promoted in europe?

To utilise the post as I duplicated the next post - on EB cruise me and lindsay gave homemade bracelets, door hangers, eggs with sweets and those little like pompom head things with googly eyes. My mum went the other route and brought Welsh pencils. It just depends what you feel like doing - making them yourselves or buying something.

We tried to deliver them to all/most disers but with all the room changes I'm sure we might have missed a few along the way.

Gismo1554 - notice that you did the 11-Night Cruise in Sept. We can try something that worked kinda well. On each floor, a type of floor monitor was volunteered. What that person did was place a list on the fish extender, somehow, that listed all the DIS cabins on that floor. If any changes were made then it was the responsiblity of the affected party to make changes to this "master" list in case some got upgraded. I printed out a list prior to the cruise but of course, there's always the instances where someone is upgraded or missed. All the 'floor monitor' agreed to do was have it outside his cabin for others delivering gifts to check against their own list. The volunteers were set up about 2-3 weeks ahead of sailing date and then it was posted - usually works with someone with a confirmed cabin. That way if anyone wants to double check their list - they know where to go.

I am leaving on the 13th, frequent flyer mile issue...I will be in Barcelona the whole time, so if you see me that first day checking in, ask me what to hit and what to miss. I may be an expert by then. I'll be doing the beach, the chocolate factory, the Gaudi Park, and have already done Mont Serrat, Spanish Village, Ramblas, Gothic quarter, Magic Fountains, hop on busses and all those Gaudi buildings. Many things I will repeat, but NOT the Spanish Villiage. It just wasn't my thing, especially not with the treasure hunt.

I want to go to the cool building that lights up on the mountain. I think it's a church. I'm thinking of hitting the Picasso museum and the Dali museum, which is in a town nearby. I found out I can get to Mont Serrat by train, so I will probably take my kids to that, too, but it's not tops on my list. Scott seems to think they oughta see the black MaDonna, even though we are LDS! When I saw it, I decided not to make a wish, like you're supposed to. I felt it woud be disrespectful to Catholics, but I did touch it, so I could say I did. I hope that's not bad!

FYI Barcelona has great transportation (used metro from airport and within city) and I love the hop on busses. They don't explain anything, but take you all over, and you can get two days almost for the price of one. I never did taxis.

Hey DissneyDAnn - I will probably be getting there on the night of the 15th - I will be coming in from Paris and am wanting to do Monteserrat. If you go, want company? LOL - or if you find out the directions and go before the 18th, let me know how easy it is. I want to go but would like to spend more than 5 hrs there. I went to a website that had some AWESOME pictures of the monastery and surrounding country. Not to mention, I would thoroughly love to walk to the cave if that is possible. Oh well, the possibilities are endless. And I'm am getting excited! :yay:

I'm just posting so I can show off my princess. I have no shame.:)

CONGRATS! party: :dancer: :woohoo:

May I ask what she won? She is beautiful BTW, how old?

Hi Happy Feet,

If either of Polona or Marko are Travel Agents (like I am) then they will have found out about the deals available for both repos and the whole time the Magic is in the Med.

We took advantage of an offer for the 1st Med cruise and enjoyed it so much that we are doing the Atlantic crossing too.

Need help from you fellow NYers.

I need the name of a good hotel in NYC. We would like to stay near Time Square.

We looked at the Ritz and Helmsley near Central Park, but my son had a fit that they look old. We looked at the "W" near Time Square, but it is far to modern for me.

So any help you can give or links would be appreciated. It need to be nice, family friendly and have a view of something besides an alley.:rotfl:
