landyards look great, i vote for the holders. let me know $$ amount etc, and I can send it to you. Don't forget to include postage & handling. As mentioned above, it is probably better to send out now, less baggage to carry. Although, if you did carry them all the way to Barcelona, then you would have some extra space to bring back treasures

Hi everyone,

I was thinking about flying out on the 16th and staying overnight in Barcelona in case of bad weather but I'd rather party with those of you who are going out of JFK on Aer Lingus. I'll probably make the flight arrangements tomorrow. How is everyone getting from the airport to the port? Are people going to share/take taxis or are you using DCL transfers? Enquiring excited minds want to know.

We are going to just grab a taxi. From what I've heard there are lots of them right outside. Should cost about 20 Euros.

Don't worry about fish extenders. The comment was in respect to whether or not another group had plans for them. And the answer was no. So it's not a no that you can't have them, just a no that the other group was not planning anything special for them.

We've talked of some sort of contest, but nothing official as of yet.

Ahhhh now I have missed out on the lanyards! I have sent a PM asking for some if thy are available but boy this is a reminder not to leave the boards for very long or you miss out!

I have not had any response but was checking again if there was any interest at all of doing a little gift exchange via mail (especially for the kids) before we set sail. I did one for the repo and it was so much fun to receive an inexpensive gift from another cruiser with fun little items in it. I would be willing to organize and partner up the kids or adults if there was any interest????

We just saw an irresistible offer for the Disney Magic transatlantic cruise and will be joining you (currently cat 12). We (Polona and Marko) are in our thirties, no children yet. Disney Wonder was our first cruise for our honeymoon 7 years ago and we just feel in love with the whole cruise concept. In the last 7 years we were on 12 cruises, but this will be only our second Disney.

Tomorrow, we are building a chicken coop. My little chicks are pretty good size chickens now. I hope we get eggs before it snows!

Quick question for those arriving into Barcelona on Saturday August 18 on the Aer Lingus flight at 10:40am....are any of you taking the DCL transfers to the ship or are you getting a taxi? Since I am traveling alone I was considering the transfers.
