Hi everyone,

If you can stand one more free-dining question....here goes

I have applied for and received a Disney Rewards Visa. I did this through Disney's website and I have a temporary number (not the actual 16 digit CC number) and a temporary credit limit - I can use the number when booking on-line only...this according to the info received when the card was approved.

I'm wondering if free dining is available on Monday for Visa holders - do you know if it will (based on history) be available on line as well? Obviously I'd like to book Monday with this "temporary number" - but I can only do so on-line.

Disney and Chase couldn't answer the question when I called several times - I figured you guys might know.

Thank you once again,
Jeannine

I would like to know the answer to this also. I already have a reservation booked with dining but I'm afraid that all the FREE dining packages will be gone when my TA calls on the 12th. So I also got approved for the Disney visa but do not yet have my card. When I asked my TA about it she said "Due to the limitations of booking Disney Visa promotions I don't always recomend doing it". I just don't know what to do.:confused3

Ok.. Remember.. ALL the free dining packages last year didn't sell out in 6 weeks.. and then they extended it.. so I doubt they will sell out in three days this time around.

Seriously. Take a deep breath. It's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of these boards but really.. reality is -- there will be lots left over after the Disney Visa people have had their go.

You may have to be flexible on your resort. But I'm sure you can get something on the 12th. :)

Thanks - I remember re-booking last year over Labor Day weekend and still getting the resort change I needed so I do know that Disney is huge and has tons of rooms.

I have dates at the Poly using the 40% code and I was able to add dining so I am fine - but this is for a family member who is in a knot over the dates and "will they be the same as yours and what will we do if they're not?" (well, I'll be happier if they're not but that's another post!)

The sooner I can book this my life will be easier - hence the urgency - totally unrelated to room availability.

Maybe I can copy your reply to my family.

Thanks for the speedy reply!

Just checking - does anyone remember if the free-dining is available to book on-line?

Thanks and Happy Easter,

Jeannine

I think last year Free dining came out in April and we didnt book ours until June for a labor day trip. We had no problems.

Kinda funny, because it does seem like a whirlwind on the boards, but it is a fun thing to get caught up into. We all loVe taking our trips and things like this and getting all caught up in the moments is aprt of it fun for me. :thumbsup2

Hope everyone gets what thery're looking for.

I am so sorry that people are misunderstanding my post.

I AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT GETTING A ROOM IN TIME

I have been asked by very impatient relatives to handle their reservation - without getting into the particulars I am not in a position to tell them to stop bugging me. I just want to be able to do this asap for my sake so they will stop nagging me about it.

I booked free dining last year, I know there are plenty of rooms and I know they will get one - I just want to finish this and am simply wondering if I can book free dining on line tomorrow if the promotions is released.

That's all.

I can sense your frustration, so the quickest way to get your answer may be by calling disney directly.

good luck!

Well, I thought about calling Disney first and after I spoke to 3 different CM and without anyone of them knowing if it was possible, I thought I'd try here.

Thanks for the suggestion,
Jeannine

Free dining can be booked online but I not sure it can be book during the Disney Visa booking window. I know last year you could book free dining on line you just had to find the Promo window on the webpage and follow the links.

Hope this info helps you.
