With less than 8 months to go, it is time to get serious about getting in shape!! I joined weight watchers in June, and lost NO weight at all! The problem with WW is that I can eat whatever I want, as long as I stay within the points. Well, I know my body, and I know I need to eat a lot of fiber, and a lot more protein. So here are my new plans!
#1 Health
I am tracking my food on prevention.com's health tracker. This works better for me since I can see exactly how much carbs, protein, fiber, etc I am eating. I also find it a bit easier to use, and I like that it has a nutrition break down as well (it breaks down vitamins and minerals)! Oh, and it is FREE!!

I decided to re-join the gym. I had a theory that I would work harder if I didn't have a gym membership, since I would feel guilty about not having one. It worked at first, but declined fast! We moved downtown in the spring, so it is annoying to jog around here, because there are so many cars/people/buildings in the way. Not to mention I hate jogging. Also, there are too many distractions in my house, so I never work out for as long as I know I can.
At the gym, I love the fitness classes (the dance ones especially) and they burn 400 + calories an hour. My goal to start with is to get in 5 hours of cardio a week, and one hour of weights (which I can do at home as well).
So we are going to the gym tonight to re-join! I am actually pretty excited because it will give me something to do in my free time! I also know I have a stressful few months ahead, since I have 2 jobs, 2 classes, and I am trying to finish my paper to graduate, so it will be a great stress reliever!

I have been on weight watchers myself. helpful tip i learned while on my diet. there are a bunch of zero calorie fruits and veggies, meaning you burn more calories to digest then you take in. So you can eat insane amounts and be full but loose weight! I was very excited when I learned this and it has helped me a bunch! Best of lunch!
I know $300 is till a lot of extra money, but we are completely obsessed with Epcot (we are geographers from our undergrad....so we love the environmental stuff in futureworld, and everything in world showcase). So I think I will try and schedule it on the day that is supposed to be out trash the dress day, so that if we do keep it, at least we can do all our extra photography in one day!

7lbs is still a lot better than nothing! I really wanted to get a wii, but I work from home, so sometimes I just need to leave, so the gym made more sense!
