Babnanas 9: Something snappy.....Like BACON!!

Another beautiful day in Central Indiana.

Headed to ILs for DH's grandpa's birthday I can pretty much guarantee my kids will be filthy when we leave.

We also have our very first T-Ball practice on Wednesday. DH volunteered to coach this year and I'm very interested to see how this will all pan out. Both kids are playing and for some reason, I think DD will play slightly better than DS.

So today for the 5K, I ran a personal best (37:17), fastest mile (9:40), and placed 8th in my division. I was 123rd overall out of 336 participants.

I'm pooped. I also bought a new lawnmower, went to the weight room and lifted for 45 minutes, and went to the grocery store.

:p

I wouldn't really suggest a touring plan, but I would suggest doing DHS instead of Epcot; yet at the same time, taking the boat over to Epcot to do a couple of things before going to MK. Remember that you have the issue of Test Track being down, and honestly, that is going to increase the crowds for Soarin.

This is what I would do, and tell me if there's a ride you'd want that I did not add in there--I could probably figure it in for you. WARNING! This is extreme commando!

1. Standby line for Toy Story Mania. (Do not get a FP--you won't have time, lol)--remember that DHS now has no RD, and you should be there at 8:30
2. Either FP for TOT or RnR. Pick one of them.
3. Breakfast at Starring Rolls Cafe
4. Standby for Star Tours
5. Pick one show
6. Use fastpass from either RnR or TOT
7. Take boat to Epcot

Epcot--It should be about 1-2pm by now. You'll want to get lunch in the World Showcase Somewhere.
1. Check FP status for Soarin'--if you can get one before 4pm, pull one
2. Spaceship Earth
3. Mission Space Standby
4. Soarin, or go on over to Monorail

Magic Kingdom--
Play it by ear--I rarely do a TP at night at MK, but definitely start with a ride on Pirates.

That's my suggestion. Do Both.

I am thinking now we will stick with just the MK...... I am going to have a hard enough time fitting everything in there that we want to do. I have a customized touring plan from the Unofficial Guide and while I will leave room for flexibility, I think it might be a good guideline at least.

I have a feeling that with one day, that's the best choice. It's hard to do everything in one day, and I hate the bus transfer from Hollywood Studios to the Ticket and Transportation Center.

I envy you people with older girls for that sitter factor. DS15 is NO way mature enough to be "in charge" of his brothers. I would be asking for mayhem. He stays by himself, of course. And I will leave DS12 and DS10 together for short periods of time. But not all three of them together.

.

Sorry your 15yo is not the 'leave in charge' type right now. That would make things easier for you. Believe me, there are plenty of 15 girls you would not want sitting either.

I watched The Help last night at my mother's house. Her friend let her borrow it. Good timing considering it was recently mentioned here. I liked the movie.

Well we had to skip the birthday party today. DD and I were headed out the door to do some shopping when my mom called and said DS wasn't feeling well.

DH went and picked him up, we shopped, came home and DS got sick.

Poor guy is just miserable. DD and I bought him a tub of Legos to keep him busy while he recooperates.

...:faint: I'm exahusted just READING this itinerary!

A not-so-bright moment in my day... Our HARD water has been REALLY hard the last week and a half. Been on DH's butt to add more salt/rust remover. All our sinks and bathtub have obvious iron stains from the water and I don't even want to get started on the laundry. DH has been telling me to give it a couple more days because he just added all our fixin's and it needs time to cycle through. He FINALLY caved a bit ago and discovered that our water softener has been unplugged. Probably for 2+ weeks now. He assumes the softener got unplugged when Comcast came to run our internet and phone line...

Nice. :sad2:

I can relate to stained laundry. Lately I have noticed that our hot water (and only the hot) seems to look rusty, and while folding "whites" last week, all the white underwear looked dingy. Unfortunately in this case we have no control over the water heater. If it doesn't go away soon we'll have to let the landlord know. If it was both hot and cold I'd assume it was the water supply, but I don't think that's the case.

Poor little man. There is a nasty stomach bug going around in these parts.

Good luck with your water. This reminds me that I have been asking my husband to pick up salt for our softener and he still has not done so. The blocks are 50lbs each. I'm not lugging that around. Though the last few times we tried to buy the blocks, they didn't have them. :confused3

... I don't blame you...

DS still feels like junk. I was hoping it was the 18 hour bug everyone else got. It's not. He ate a bit this morning and so far it's staying down - but he's holed up in his room with all the shades drawn and his door shut complaining of a headache.
